Tim :,,Agreus the new Hero of Gotham City capturing Penny Plunderer, Agreus stops a robbery, Agreus saves man from a Heart Attack, Agreus uncovers Hospital corruption. Damn Will you only have been a hero for a week by now and you already made it into the News about 5 times."

Damian :,,Of course he is in the News often he is a daylight hero people see him everytime he doe- ow!"

Will :,,It would be easier to stitch up your cheek if you would stop speaking Damian. Who did you fight tonight anyways?"

Tim shivers :,,Professor Pyg, that guy is obsessed with the myth Pygmalion. Fighting him is disturbing everytime."

Will :,,I did see some files about him on the Bat-Computer. Kind of glad I didn't run into him yet.
So you are done, now don't talk to much and overall don't try to move your mouth to much. You understand?"

Damian nods.

Will :,,Good now if there isn't anything else then you can go and I can wrap up for tonight."

Tim :,,Wouldn't be to sure about that Bruce is still out there."

Will :,,He has a important Gala tom- actually this evening. So I hope he can atleast go tonight without getting hurt

Tim :,,Don't jinx it."

Will :,,Knowing my luck, I probably did."

Just then the Batmobile came racing in stopping in it's usual spot.

Will :,,Well time to find out."

The door of the car opened and Bruce came out his Batsuit covered from head to toe in blood.
Will's eyes widened as he ran over to Bruce.

Will :,,Please don't tell me this is all yours!?"

Bruce :,,May.... be"

Bruce collapsed just as Will reached him catching him just before he could hit the floor.

Will :,,Guys! Help!"

Will :,,A dislocated shoulder, three shot wounds, various stab and slash wounds and five broken ribs, a mild concussion and several bruises. The fact that you even made it to cave is a miracle on it's own."

Bruce :,,I had worse."

Will :,,From all the stories that I heard I believe that. Anyways I will give you some pain meds and then you are on bed rest for the rest of the day. After all you should atleast be able to stand for this evenings Charity Gala."

Bruce :,,I nearly forgot about that."

Will :,,Yeah you probably shouldn't there are alot of important people coming tonight after all and all of them probably want to talk to you."

Bruce :,,That is probably true."

Will :,,What is this charity Gala about anyways?"

Bruce :,,It's for the Hospital that you shut down the corruption thing."

Will suprised :,,They shut it down?"

Bruce nods :,,Yeah a day or two after you exposed the corruption there. All patients were transferred to other hospitals."

Will :,,I didn't know they could shut down a hospital."

Bruce :,;They can especially when it comes to organ trafficking."

Will :,,They what!?"

Bruce looked at Will his lips pressed together in a thin line :,,The Head Nurse selling medication illegally was only the tip of the Iceberg. The day after you exposed the Head Nurse a investigation was launched on the hospital and it was found out that they were involved in more stuff then anyone could have imagined. Declaring people that were alive, brain dead to harvest the organs and limbs and then selling them to the highest bidder. Telling parents their babies have died just to sell them to other couples who want to avoid to go through legal adoption proceedings. There are also other thing- Will?"

Will sat down on a chair his face pale and his eyes wide.

Will :,,T-they gave an oath."

Bruce :,,.... for many people a oath is just.... a facade they use to stand in the light while they work in the dark and fill their pockets with money on the cost of others suffering."

Will stood in his room looking at the mirror as he fixed his yellow tie, this is going to be a important Gala after all.
He still couldn't believe that Doctors, people who gave a oath to protect and save lifes could be so cruel and greedy.
Well atleast the hospital is going to be converted into a Children Hospital with staff that actually do their job, he thought.

Alfred :,,Master William are you ready? The first guests have already arrived and Master Bruce has asked for you."

Will opens the door :,,I am ready."

Alfred nods and the two start walking down the hallway and down the stairs towards the entrance hall where a still pale looking Bruce was waiting for them.

Will :,,Where are the others?"

Bruce :,,Damian is somewhere in the Banquett hall already, Jason is on a mission, Dick is on a date with Kori, Tim is probably plundering the buffet already and Cass doesn't like Galas and went on patrol."

Will :,,Ok- why are you so tense? Are you in pain?"

Bruce quickly shook his head :,,No we just have a... unwanted guest."

Will :,,Who?"

Bruce :,,Lex Luthor."

Will :,,What does he want here?"

Bruce :,,Probably wants to make a good impression."

Will starts to smile :,,Oh does he?"

Bruce :,,Will don't do anything stupid."

Will :,,Oh no need to worry about that. I am just gonna help him with what he came here to do."

Bruce and Alfred :,,Huh?"

Will :,,Just wait and see."

Will walks into the Banquett Hall were the Gala takes place and looks around. He can see Tim at the buffet table and Damian sitting on one of the armchairs in the corner eating peanuts but he wasn't looking for them he was looking for Lex Luthor but he couldn't find the man that was until.

Luthor :,,You must be William Andrew Solace I guess the new Wayne boy right?"

Will turned to the voice to come face to face with the one and only Lex Luthor.

Will :,,O-Oh yeah I am it's a honor to meet Mister Luthor."

Will stretched his hand out for a handshake and Luthor took it but Will saw how Luthor slightly raised one eyebrow as if he was expecting something else.

Luthor :,,It's nice to meet you aswell Mister Solace."

They let go of the handshake and stood up straight looking at each other.

Will :,,I must be honest Mister Luthor I didn't expect someone of your standing to attend a Gala like this."

Luthor :,,Yeah I am honestly not a big fan of Parties or Galas, just because I am rich doesn't mean I have to like them."

Will :,,I get that, my mom was a musician and she would take me to concerts from time to time when she couldn't find a babysitter and to be completely honest with you I was about to not go to this Gala until I heard what it was about."

Luthor :,,Oh really?"

Will :,,Of course I want to be a doctor and after I heard what happened at THAT hospital I had to come here. After all this is very important for the entirety of Gotham."

Luthor :,,Oh really?"

Will smiles :,,Two other hospitals closed last year here in Gotham one of them was a children hospital. Despite attempts of charity both were closed down, if you ask me there is something fishy going on there. Anyways Gotham lacks a Children Hospital so this one is the best shot to get one. I hope that you will support it Mister Luthor."

Luthor :,,I-"

Will :,,I expect nothing less from a man of your standing. The world needs more generosity and kindness if you ask me. After all each one of us has the chance to make this world a brighter place don't you agree Mister Luthor?"

Luthor :,,O-Of course that is out of the question."

Will :,,I would donate aswell but because I am only 14 I don't have access to my inheritance yet. But I told Bruce to donate some of it in my name, I just hope he doesn't forget."

Luthor :,,As much as I know Wayne he probably doesn't."

Will :,,I hope so or he will get a earful from me."

Luthor chuckling :,,I have no doubt about that."

Will :,,Well I am not rich so my donation won't make much of a dent. But you can Sir, I have no doubt that you actually would be able to rebuild the entire thing without much of a effort."

Luthor :,,Hmm.... I guess you are right in that department."

Luthor looks around and see several people looking at them.

Luthor :,,It was nice talking to you Mister Solace, I hope to see you around."

Will :,,It was nice talking to you aswell Mister Luthor."

They shake hands again but Will doesn't let go at first.

Will :,,And thank you for helping the children."

Will let go of Luthors hand and walks over to Tim while Luthor fixes his tie.

Luthor :,,Jerome do you have my checkbook?"

Luthors assistant steps up besides him and hands him, his checkbook.

Luthor :,,Pen."

After he got the pen Luthor quickly writes something down on the checkbook before ripping it out and handing the items back to his assistant.

Luthor :,,Please give the check to the donation lady."

Jerome :,,Of course Sir."

Jerome turned  and walked towards the donation table but as he walked he looked down on the check and his eyes widened.

Jerome :,,300.000? Damn that boy must have really talked into him."

After the Gala was over Will was in his room as Tim and Damian burst into his room.

Tim :,,You got HOW much out of Luthor?!"

Will :,,300.000.... I must admit I didn't expect to get that much out of him."

Damian :,,What did you expect you talked about generosity and kindness and all that infront of people. Of course he had to donate a generos amount or else he would have made a bad image which he can't afford at the moment considering his political endeavors."

Will :,,I guess you are right."

Tim :,,But everything aside you better wa-"

Will :,,Watch out for Luthor I know. Bruce already told me no fear I won't make him my enemy unless he wants me to be his enemy. Because believe me when I say that a son of Apollo can do alot more then shoot arrows and heal people."

I am honest at first I had no idea what I could write for this chapter so I just started and I must say that I am more then happy with the end result.
