It had been a week since Orochimaru and Shego had spent the day shopping.  The two of them had spent the last couple of days in the gym training Shego to improve her fighting skills and learning to use Justu more with her new Charka network.

Meanwhile, Dr.  Drakken spent most of his time building his Bebe robots for a plan he had been working on that he didn't have anything that Shego needed to do.  So to keep herself busy, she has been reading magazines and training with Orochimaru.

After their training session and eating dinner while Dr. Drakken went out for the evening to deal with his latest plan involving his Bebe robots, everyone was now in bed, sleeping peacefully except for Orochimaru, who was tossing and turning.

Nightmare...

"Little snake."

"A voice?"

"Oro-chan."

That voice, Mom and Dad.

"Come save us, please, little snake."

I can't, Mom, you and Dad are both dead.

You were both murderers by a monster. A sick monster who can into our home to steal a forbidden justu that you were both in charge of guarding. I saw you both killed in front of my eyes.

I can't see my mom's long silky purple hair. I can't see her snake-blue eyes.  I can't see my dad's spikey black hair or golden snake eyes.

I can't see them.

I can't hug them.

I never see them again. They're dead.

"Monster!"

"That kid is a demon."

I'm not a monster or a demon.

Why do you always call me a monster?

"There is something wrong with that boy. I wouldn't trust him with my life."

"Monster!"

"Demon!"

"Stop. I'm not a monster!"

"Oh, don't lie, Orochimaru. You, after all, killed my brother."

I didn't mean for your brother to die to forgive me, Tsuna.

"Monster!"

"No, stop calling me that!"

"Demon!"

"Stop it already. I'm not a demon or monster!"

"Monster!"

"I said stop. It's not true. Please stop!!!!!"

"Orochimaru."

I don't what to hear it anymore.

"Orochimaru."

"STOP! STOP! I DON'T WANT  TO HEAR ANYMORE!

"Orochimaru!"

"STOP CALLING MY NAME. I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANYMORE!"

Nightmare over...

"Orochimaru!" He gasped as his body suddenly jerked up, and watery eyes snapped open. His heart was racing like he ran multiple laps, and his body was sweaty. He took his clammy hands and rubbed his temples. Then he noticed
how much he was shaking.

"Lord  Orochimaru!" He jumped as he heard his name being called out. He turned to his left to see Kabuto holding onto his body with a worried look. "Are you okay?" He asked.

Orochimaru took a deep breath before he answered, "Y..yes."He lifted his hand and rubbed his temples.

"That seemed like quite the dream you were having," Shego stated in her usual sarcastic voice,  but he could tell there was a slight hint of worry in her voice.

Orochimaru nodded as he took a few more deep breaths.

"Yeah, a dream," He said, trying to settle down his mind of fear as he lay back down on his bed.

"Man, are you sure you're okay,  because I could hear your scream all the way from the entrance of the lair on my way back, " Drakken said, sticking his head in through the door.

Shego glanced at Orochimaru and saw he wasn't entirely calm down from his dream. "Why don't you two leave and let me talk to him," She said, walking over towards the bed.

Orochimaru glanced up slightly to aee Kabuto, and Drakken nodded before they left the room.

"If he doesn't want to talk, don't force it. He's not one to share his emotions," Kabuto said as he paused for a second before shutting the door behind him.

Orochimaru sighed softly as he felt Shego sit down beside him on the right.

"Are you okay?" Shego asked, placing a hand on his forehead causing his eyes to snap open from the sudden touch.

"No, not really that nightmare one I often have, but it got so much worse lately," Orochimaru replied with a sigh, but honestly, he didn't know why he was telling her this.

"I guess you don't want to talk about it by that sigh," Shego commented."I won't force you. Usually, I wouldn't care about others' feelings, but your different and can lay here until you calm down," She said, touching his hand.

Orochimaru closed his eyes and sighed as he thought about her offer to lie with him.

"You know what, I would like that, " Orochimaru said with a sigh."If you really want to know, it was about my parent's death, and everyone I thought cared about me turned on me, saying I was a monster," He explained.

Shego then lay down next to Orochimaru and pulled him into a hug.

"It sounds like you've gone through a lot.  You know, if it makes you feel better, I don't think your monster fits your experiments. Your just angry, " Shego said, blushing.

Orochimaru blushed slightly a how close the both of them were but didn't move away from Shego as he slowly closed his eyes.

Shego kissed him on the forehead before closing her eyes also. She then felt him begin to toss and turn in his sleep. So she pulled him even closer to her body. He stopped tossing and turning once he felt the warmth of her body.

Orochimaru opened his eyes, surprised the nightmare stopped.  Then he remembered he was lying in bed with Shego.

"Thanks, Shego, for stopping my nightmare," he whispered before falling asleep.

**

-The Next Day-

Shego slowly opened her eyes. She was about to leave bed when she remembered her arms were around  Orochimaru.

She looked over at him to see that he was still sleeping.  So she tried moving her arms away very slowly so she didn't wake up Orochimaru.

The second she move her arms away. Orochimaru shifted in his sleep.

'I hope he doesn't wake up. He could use the sleep after having that nightmare last night.' Shego thought to herself.

Shego was about to leave the bed when she heard Orochimaru's voice.

"I was hoping we could lay together a little longer." He said.

Shego sighed, not wanting to leave him alone in case he had another nightmare.

"I guess we can lay together a little bit longer before we go to eat breakfast." She said.

"Good because I want a little bit more sleep, and I feel a lot better if you stay by my side." He said with a tone that sounded so defeated. Shego was kind of shocked to hear that kind of tone from him. Yet she could understand why he felt that way after having such a bad nightmare.

"Well, go ahead back to sleep. I will be here until you wake up." She said with a smile on her face.

Orochimaru let out a sigh of relief before closing his eyes to go back to sleep. Shego just lay there waiting for him to wake up.

After an hour, Orochimaru was finally awake and ready to get out of bed. He looked at the clock to see what was now 8:15 am.

"You ready to eat breakfast?" Shego asked.

"Yeah, let's go. Probably just have some eggs." He said.

Shego nodded. "Ok, you really love eggs."

"Of course, they are my favorite food. I guess I still have some things to  share about myself." He stated.

Shego told Orochimaru that she met him in the kitchen after she changed out of her nightgown and into her clothes for today. Orochimaru nodded and grabbed his clothes for today. He wore dark blue sweatpants,  a long sleeve white kimono, and his black sandals.

Orochimaru walked into the kitchen and saw Drakken, Shego, and Kabuto all sitting down at the table. He went over and sat down next to Shego.

"I made you some eggs and bacon, my Lord," Kabuto said, placing the plate down right in front of him.

Orochimaru nodded his thanks.

"So, Dr. D, how did the Bebe plan work out?" Shego asked.

"Kim Possible and her father destroyed them. I still can't believe the same guy I went to college is her  father."

"I don't know how it's not like Possible, a common name." She said, rolling her eyes.

"You mean to tell you made robots to attack her father? Why?" Orochimaru asked with an eyebrow raised.

"He wants it to get revenge on his old friends from college laughing at him," Shego explained.

Orochimaru shook his head at how stupid Drakken was thinking that would work.

"I don't even want to know why you thought that was a good idea." He stated.

After a while of talking, everyone left the kitchen table. Drakken went to come up with his next plan.  Kabuto went to study for his test at school since he started going and researching at me wince in this world. Orochimaru and Shego decided to spend some time together before he got back to experimenting to find a way back to his world.
