Two months later-

Shego groaned as she walked back to her bedroom after leaving the training hall. Her feeling about Orochimaru ended up being right.

He was a massive pain in the butt. Even though he and Kabuto had been staying with them for three months, trying to figure out how to get back home still. He had been helping her train to fight better; calling her weak but has pointal to be stronger was a headache itself.

She then recalled her training session with him in the training hall.

Flashback...

Shego groaned in frustration as she fell down to the floor hard, hitting her butt as she glared up at Orochimaru standing above her position on the floor.

"You need more power behind your kicks if you expect to do any real damage to your opponent, especially one stronger than you," Orochimaru said with a smirk, causing her to glare harder at him.

"What! Are you saying, snake, that I'm not strong!" She shouted, annoyed, igniting her hands.

Orochimaru rose his hands in mock surrender."Hey, I'm not saying that your lacking power, but I'm betting you use less force to dodge at any moment. However, if you have used enough power, you won't have to worry about avoiding because your opponent is too busy doing that instead of you," He sighed, pulling his hair back in a ponytail and offering a hand out to her to pull her up."And it Orochimaru, not snake."

She simply glared at him and smacked away his hand, causing him to sigh and walk away toward the exit of the training hall.

"You know what, Shego, come and find me when you're not in a bad mood. For the time I have been here, I learned nothing reaches you at all in a bad mood," He said as he exited the hall.

Shego then glared at the ground before she stood up and decided to continue to train on her own, not caring to listen to Orochimaru's advice on her kicks.

Through maybe he made an excellent point.

Flashback end...

As for all the time she had been keeping an eye on him, she discovered that he could clone himself tremendously compared to her twin brothers. He could control the elements, which from what little she had seen so far, was only water and wind, even though he mentioned he could control them all, and he could summon snakes, not just from his sleeve.

She strongly felt there was so much more to him and that she hadn't even scratched the surface of his powers or the person he was.

Another thing she learned was Kabuto was a skilled medic.

Drakken tried demanding his DNA, wanting to make a clone of him for his plans interested in his powers, but that only resulted in him being embedded in the wall by his sword pierced through his shirt or a weird purple slime he explained was made by a pal of his.

Which Drakken immediately tried to analyze, but the machine he was using would explode, and all samples would dissolve. Shego had a feeling Orochimaru caused it using one of his abilities.

She could tell he was protective of powers and secrets, and only Kabuto truly knew his secrets, and even there were some he didn't know. However, she couldn't blame him for that. She understood wanting to keep certain things from others.

Shego might find him a pain, but she was grateful he respected her and never pushed his way into her past. He rather spends most of his time reading books, training alone or with her, and studying science. He has been earning money selling science products under a fake name and had money saved up from his home world.

"Why am I even thinking about him so much lately.' She thought, walking towards her bedroom until Dr. Drakken summoned her for his next plan.

"Hello, Shego," Kabuto greeted, carrying a bag and walking next to her.

"Why the bag?" She asked.

"Lord Orochimaru believes that it be good for me to start going to school to study until we find a way back to where we're from," Kabuto explained.

"I still don't see the Lord, but okay, hope you have fun with school when the weekend is over," Shego commented, opening her door as she reached the room that ended up being four doors down from kabuto's as he entered his own room.

"Well, he is a Lord, and school should be interesting compared to the ninja academy I went to," Kabuto said before entering his room.

'That boy needs to learn more than studying, like having fun and making his own decision until of listening to his so-called master.'

A couple of minutes later...

Shego sighed as she left her room, waking up from her nap knowing Dr. D was probably ready for her assistance.

"Something the matter?" A familiar snake-like voice asked.

She turned around to her left to see Orochimaru standing against the wall holding a red book open. He wore a tight pink sleeveless shirt showing off his surprisingly muscular body, showing that even if he seemed small and feminine, he was a well-muscled man and wore blue pants.

Shego's cheeks turned slightly dark green seeing his muscles, and look away, shaking the thought of how good he looked out of her head.

"Just um..." She said, trying to keep the thoughts from forming in her head." thinking about what kind of plan Dr. D had plotted up after his failure is going to be a headache, but at least he moved on from the thought of cloning," She finished quickly.

'She is behaving strangely.' Orochimaru thought, noticing her skin was darker than average.

He shrugged his shoulders, seeing that it didn't matter what that wasn't important, closing his book for the moment

"Yes, im sure that it will be. The guy is not that smart for a scientist," Orochimaru stated."A new jacket, I see, suits you well," He commented with a nod in approval.

"Thanks; a surprise to hear that kind of compliment from you," She replied."Why do you choose to stay here, though? Your intelligent compared to Dr.D and can do anything you want to," She asked, confused about why he was still here.

"Just like you said, I'm smart, and since Kabuto and I don't know anyone from this world," Orochimaru said."It is wiser for us to stay here with two people we know. Through maybe with the money I got saved up, I will get a place for me and Kabuto to live until we find a way home. For now, staying her find. Sure Drakken, a pain asking for my DNA, but you entertain me with your personality," He said with a smirk.

Shego eyes widen, not expecting his answer, and she notice a faint peach color on his cheeks.

'Wait a minute, is he blushing? And eyes seem so full of sadness, yet his face always looks so emotionless. Not that care about that or the blush.' She thought, finding herself slowly losing herself in his eyes until his voice roughly snapped her out of it.

"Everything okay?" He said, tilting his head to the side."You zone out for a moment, and your face was a darker shade than your usual shade," He added.

That made her glare at him, annoyed that she was caught blushing." I'm fine! I have to go see Dr. D for his next plan. Bye!" She yelled, running off and leaving him confused.

Orochimaru just stared at her, leaving curiously, and chuckled at her behavior. He decided that it wasn't his problem if she acting strange.

'I might as well see how Kabuto is doing preparing for school this Monday. It should keep him busy until we figure out how to get back home.' He thought, heading to Kabuto's room.

A few hours later, Shego rode her snowmobile past Kim Possible and her sidekick Ron Stoppable.

"Shego! The mad scientist, mad assistant," Ron said.

"Bye-bye,"  Shego said, tossing biscuits at the sled dogs.

The sled dogs then quickly came to a stop and started eating the dog biscuits that Shego had tossed.

Kim then got on a snowboard and chased after Shego, who noticed her coming and picked up the speed on her snowmobile.

"Nice jacket, club banana?" Kim asked.

"The very latest," Shego replied while holding her jacket collar.

"Get a lifestyle. Shego green is the new black," Kim commented.

"And this advice is coming from a fashion don't in fleeces," Shego mocked as she took off, leaving Kim to look at her outfit.

When Kim got closer to Shego after looking at her outfit, Shego was getting ready to jump off her snowmobile.

"It is going to blow any minute, Kimmie, and your skin doesn't need any more oil," Shego said, laughing.

Shego then jumped off the snowmobile and up to the laser drill as Dr.Drakken grabbed her hand to pull her up safely.

"Pity on you, Kim Possible!" Drakken shouted before he began laughing.

Shego tossed off her helmet as she slightly rested an arm on Drakken shoulder and waved bye to Kim Possible as they took off.

"Well done, Shego phase one is complete," Drakken said.

Wisconsin cheese Lair-

"Increase the drill power! I want to reach that magma!" Drakken exclaimed.

Shego and the henchmen all got ready to attack Kim Possible once Shego had spotted her.

"Welcome, Kimmie. May I take your coat?" Shego asked in a sarcastic tone.

"You already did, but don't worry, it will look better on me," Kim started.

Meanwhile, elsewhere in the lair...

Orochimaru let out a sigh as he and Kabuto watched from the shadows. As Shego was fighting against Kim Possible.

He was currently dressed in a long sleeve purple shirt with white snakes on the back and grey yoga pants. As well as a snake-style belt around his waist. Kabuto had on a black short sleeve shirt with black pants.

'She is doing much better with her movements than when we last trained together.' Orochimaru thought with a smirk on his face as he saw Shego winning against Kim Possible, getting ready to lock her up in the trap they had set up.

He found Shego to be quite interesting to be around and was curious about her wanting to learn more about her.

Orochimaru sighed in annoyance as Drakken continued to ramble about his latest plan. His eyes then focused on Shego working on the drill showing off her other skills, and he couldn't help stareing at her with a faint smile.

Kabuto glanced at Orochimaru in surprise, seeing the smile on his face.

'Lord Orochimaru smiling. I had never seen him smile like that and wasn't planning something or doing an experiment. This Shego has some kind of effect on him.' Kabuto thought, looking at Orochimaru's facial expression.

"Shego, hurry up. I'm still waiting!" Darkken shouted, seeing as the drill still hadn't hit magma.

Orochimaru shook his head as he witnessed Shego quickly capture Ron Stoppable, the sidekick of Kim Possible. He had on an orange uniform with a clip-on tie.

His attention was drawn to the room with the laser controls as she suddenly spoke up loudly.

"The drill in the magma!" Shego shouted.

"About time. Activate the magma chine," Drakken commanded.

Kabuto and Orochimaru both watched as Kim Possible and Ron had escaped from the trap, making Orochimaru sigh.

As the plan became a failure that was excepted, seeing as Drakken didn't think things through. Orochimaru shot two giant brown snakes from his sleeves and pulled Shego and Drakken out of the way of the crumbing cheese from the building to prevent them from being drowned in cheese.

"As to why you thought this was a good idea is beyond me," Orochimaru started making his presence of knowledge."When were  inside a cheese-built building, which was evident if you noticed it smelled like nothing, but cheese? If the cheese were just covering it outside, the walls wouldn't be cheese, and the smell would only be smelt out. It was bound to melt idiot surprise Shego who more intelligent than you, even help you, then again I guess she does get paid for helping you," He said with a sigh.

"Who exactly are you?" Kim asked in shock at the new person she saw standing on a crate, avoiding getting drowned in cheese except for his hair.

The most confusing part to Kim and Ron was that he shot snakes out of his sleeves.

Orochimaru chuckled as he helped Kabuto get some of the cheese off. "My bad, Kabuto hope you didn't get too much cheese in your clothes."

"It's fine, my Lord," Kabuto replied.

Shego hesitantly ran over and hugged Orochimaru and thanked him for getting her out of the way, which caught Orochimaru off guard as he froze, but eventually, he gave her a brief hug back.

"Next time, think before you decide to use a laser in a cheese lair or any lair that is not suited for a laser," Orochimaru stated with a smirk.

"Yes, please do so before you seriously hurt someone in the lair working for you because you didn't think first," Kabuto said, pushing up his glass and making them flash slightly.

"I believe it is time for you and Drakken to escape now. I'll meet you back at the base, and maybe we'll do something together," Orochimaru said with a chuckle at her behavior and left a quick peck on her forehead, making her blush slightly as she quickly nodded and grabbed Drakken and ran off.

'I just kissed her forehead, strange. Why did I do that?' Orochimaru thought, confused about why his body acted on its own.

Kim and Ron watched the scene in surprise. The man they had never seen before could send snakes out of his sleeves. Shego and the two of them seem to have a strange bond with each other, which Kim found surprising anyone could bond with the firey Shego and kiss her without being blasted.

She immediately snapped out of it as she saw Shego run off with Drakken held by his collar."Wait right there, Shego!" She yelled, only to be blocked by Orochimaru.

"You're going anywhere until they're gone," He stated, licking his sword.

"Who are!? You never answered me," She asked, getting ready to fight him.

"Right, I was distracted with my thoughts. Their name is Lord Orochimaru, the Lord of the Hidden Sound Village. The teen next to me is Kabuto, my right-hand man Kabuto Yakushi," He said with a grin.

"Lord of the Hidden Sound Village. Aren't Lords supposed to be peaceful and kind? So why are you with Shego?" She asked with a frown as he shrugged his shoulders.

"Peace that something people believe in when they haven't felt the pain and suffering like I have," He stated."Also not like we're helping them for the two months we've been here. Only staying with them since we didn't have anywhere to go since we accidentally ended up in their lair,"  He explained as he stuck his sword into the ground.

"What does that mean, pain and suffering?" She asked, confused, as he groaned during the bridge of his nose.

"Wow, your a clueless and noisy kid," He sighed."I to need to explain my past. Now I'm going to leave, and Kim Possible, we'll meet again, and you definitely see Kabuto again probably before you see me again," He said with a glare before him, and Kabuto poofed away in a cloud of smoke, not realizing he had forgotten to retrieve his sword out of the ground.

Drakken's Lair-

He smiled in relief as he and Kabuto poof right in front of the lair just as Shego and Drakken landed the hovercraft.

"Oh, good, you got away safely if I had to keep that girl distracted much longer. I would have tried to kill her. She asks too many questions," He said with a sigh looking straight in Shego eyes.

Shego laughed softly and walked over to Orochimaru."So now you know how I feel after meeting her," She said, putting her hand on her hips and looking at him with a smirk on her face."Now you mentioned doing something together, and instead of training, let's talk. I'm curious to learn more about you, mister Lord," She said as she grabbed his arm and started staging him away towards her room.

"Yeah, I guess we can talk, and I'll tell you about myself, but my past," He replied as he shook his head at her dragging him through the base.

"Deal since you never butt into my past," She replied as she opened the door of her bedroom once they reached it and pushed her inside.

Shego then shut the door and sat down on the bed, looking over at Orochimaru."Well, get on with it," she said to him as he chuckled and sat down on one of the green chairs in the room.

"Alright, I'll start with my nature elements. I can use wind, fire, water, earth, lighting, yin and yang elements," He started."My signature style is using the snakes summoned from my sleeves and those living in a place called Ryuchi Cave who are different and can talk. Through I can use another ability of my clan that allows us to communicate with animals, but it is stronger with snakes. I have another power, but that one I want to keep a secret for now. Maybe I'll tell you it is one day," He said, thinking about Manda, and then grinned at his final comment.

Shego was slightly impressed with his abilities before frowning."Would you be able to teach others these abilities, or they only something you can do?" She asked as she looked at him curiously.

Orochimaru rubbed his chin in thought before shrugging his shoulders."It could be possible to teach them the elements and summoning, but the person would need a network. That wouldn't be too hard with my intelligence, but I would do that for someone I trust is worthy of my skills to give them a chakra network," He replied in a thoughtful tone.

"Oh, would it be someone like me?" She asked, looking into his golden eyes.

"A possibility you have caught my attention over these two months, but I will have to think about it more. For now, I believe that enough talking. My hair needs to be washed from the cheese," He sated as he stood on up.

Shego nodded in understanding, but then she remembered the hug she gave him and the peck on her forehead from him. Her cheeks turned darker green, blushing from the first incident.

"And i-I've got to put my stuff away in the new lair and shower as well get out," She said nervously as she shoved him out the room, making him smile slightly at her actions of nervousness.

'She is definitely something.' He thought as Shego shut the door once he was out of the room.

The next day at Kim Possible's house-

Kim was sitting in her bedroom on the bed holding her Kimmunicator in her hand.
 
"Hey Wade, I need information on a village called the Hidden Sound Village," She started."As well on a man name Lord Orochimaru," She said to her young African American genius on the screen.

 
Wade looked at her, confused as he sat down his drink."Sure, I can do that, but can I ask why?" He asked as he started typing on his computer.

Kim sighed as she started to explain all of what happened during her conflict with Drakken and Shego.

"Wow, someone that skill to stay hidden and a sign of sword mastery with Drakken is dangerous. However, he was only there because he didn't have anywhere else to go, and he wasn't helping with Drakken's plan, just watching it play out," Wade commented."He doesn't seem too bad, but I look into him as well as Kabuto, his right-hand man, "He said, signing off to research Orochimaru and Kabuto.

'He has nowhere to go after accidentally ending up in Drakken's lair. Where did he and Kabuto come from?' Kim thought with a frown putting down her Kimmunicator on the bedside table.

Hello, my wonderful readers and followers. Here is the second chapter of A Snakes' Heart. Kim and Ron meet Orochimaru for the first time. As well as a brief moment between Shego and Orochimaru sharing more about himself and Shego hugging him and a short kiss on her forehead, leaving them both to feel awkward, slightly similar to originally but with more detail, and the relationship is going to be built up at better pacing.
