Nathan's POV:

Alex, Susan, Dark Pit, and I all walked out of the Cafe. The Waddle Dee was sleeping inside. We decided to leave him be for the time being. We could see the light from the sun starting to get brighter.

Alex: "It's dawn. The sun will rise soon."

Me: "There's no way we'll reach the others before then."

Alex: "Not unless we use the old beauty."

I looked towards Alex who walked towards a couple of large bushes. He walked through them. The rest of us followed. When we reached the other side, an Arwing could be seen. It looked a bit bigger than the ones Star Fox used.

Me: "You have your own Arwing?"

Alex: "It's a two seater Slippy and I made. One person drives while the other blasts away at the enemy. We never really had a chance to test it out." I walked up to it and put my hand on it. "Would you like to drive?" I turned towards him.

Me: "Me? Drive? I don't even have my driver license."

Susan: "Don't worry, it will be easy... Like playing a video game." She winked.

Me: "Well, I guess I could give it a shot."

Alex: "Then it looks like we're all ready."

Alex then put a hand in. Susan did too. Dark Pit did too. I then put my hand in.

Alex: "Smash on three?" We all nodded. "Alright. One. Two. Three."

All: "Smash!"

Susan's POV:

We all stood together waiting for Master Head to arrive. The sun was about to show itself soon. I looked over at Jacob. He was in his Skell waiting for Master Head too. The Pokemon were waiting too. And next to me was Midna.

Midna: "Are you sure we can do this?"

Me: "To be honest, no... But what other choice do we have?"

A part of the sun soon shined over the horizon. But it was soon blocked out by a dark mist. It came from the ground and seemed to cover the sky in an instant. An echoing evil laugh could be heard.

Me: "Master Head. This is it!"

I heard the sounds of people readying their weapons as dark minions rose from the ground. Some were small warriors while others were powerful beasts. But they were all deadly. From the darkness a face started to appear. We all knew who it was.

He looked at us all with an evil glare. We knew what he wanted and he was gonna stop at nothing to get it done. Even tho he was a ways away, we could hear what he said clearly.

Master Head: "Kill them... Kill them all."

The dark creatures all let out a battle cry and charged towards us. We just stood there, waiting for the perfect time to strike. When they got close enough, those of us with ranged weapons got ready. We charged up. They got closer. We fired. Their numbers fell, but not a lot. We finally charged forward with our own battle cry. We were ready to fight.

Nathan's POV:

Susan was right, it was just like playing a game. A Star Fox game. Susan and Dark Pit were flying next to us while Alex and I were in the Arwing. We were flying over the area where I first entered the Smash Bros universe. I remembered that day like it was yesterday. I saw the lake. We were getting close to Smash City.

I remember first stepping foot into that city. It was so big. It was so alive. Everyone there was so kind and friendly. But, as we got closer, I saw smoke. When it came into view, I was shocked. Everything was destroyed. It was all in ruins. The only thing that was still standing was the arena.

Alex: "Look!"

He pointed to some figures walking in the rubble. I took us down. When we got out, I could see who they were. There, standing in the ruined city, was Rayman, Steve, and Alex. (Yes, the Steve and Alex from Minecraft. Oh, I just now realized, we have two characters named Alex. This will be fun. I'll just put M for Susan's brother [Cause he's male] and F for Minecraft Alex [Cause she's female].) They looked over at us.

It was silent.

Me: "So... how are you guys doing?"

No one spoke.

Rayman: "Hey, have I seen you somewhere before?"

Me: "Uh, yeah, actually."

Rayman: "Ah, that's right! You're the chosen one! I met you in the lobby!"

Steve: "Wait, this is the chosen one?"

Alex (F): "The one who is said to defeat Master Head?"

Alex (M): "The one and only."

Steve: "Then why is he here and not fighting with the others?"

Me: "Fighting with the others?"

Rayman: "Everyone else is to the south fighting Master Head."

Dark Pit: "And we're missing all the action."

I looked over to the south. There was a large dark cloud that was swirling in the sky. It was slowly getting bigger and bigger. All of my new friends were in there. Mario, Link, Kirby, Fox, Pit. Even Jacob, Eve, and Maia were in there.

Me: "I gotta get over there."

Susan: "Nathan." I turned to her. "Are you sure you're ready to fight Master Head?"

Me: "Well..." I turned back towards the dark cloud. "To be honest, I don't feel ready. But my friends are over there. I have to save them."

Susan: "By yourself?"

I turned towards everyone. They were all looking at me.

Me: "No, of course not. The prophecy may say that I'm the one who destroys the darkness but to do that, I need help. I need your help. Will you all help me?"

Steve: "Yes."

Alex (F): "Of course."

Rayman: "Why not?"

Dark Pit: "Anything for some action."

Alex (M): "We'll all stand by your side."

Susan: "Lead the way and we'll follow."

???: "Well, you're a funny looking lot, ain't ya? Don't mind if I join in, do ya?"

A shadow covered us. We looked up. There, hovering above our heads, was Metal Face. Next to him was the Dark Lord.

Metal Face: "If you wanna fight Master Head, you're gonna have ta get through us first!"

Dark Lord let out a screech. Everyone got ready to fight them both, except me. I looked back over at the dark cloud. It was still growing bigger.

Me: "We don't have time for this. We need to get over to Master Head now."

Alex (M): "Then you go. We'll hold them off for you."

Me: "What?"

Susan: "You have to save your friends."

Me: "But I can't do it without your help."

Alex (M): "We are helping you. Now go before it's too late."

Metal Face and Dark Lord both attacked. Everyone else attacked back. I knew Alex and Susan were right. I had to get over there before it was too late. I hopped into the Arwing and started to fly away. I got out of Smash Cities boundaries before getting hit by something. I looked behind me. Metal Face was following me. Everyone else was still fighting Dark Lord.

Metal Face: "And where do you think you're going, puny boy?"

I needed to get him off my tail if I was going to reach Master Head in one piece. I saw Metal Face reach for me. I quickly pulled up. I flew up a ways before turning back downwards. Metal Face looked like he was ready to destroy me, which he probably was.

Metal Face: "Come here so I can destroy you!"

That proved it. I wasn't sure if he could hear me but I shouted at him anyways.

Me: "Sorry, but I'm not planing on dying just yet!"

I fired at him. They hit and stunned him for a bit. I tried continuing towards the dark cloud, but Metal Face was still furious.

Metal Face: "You're getting on my bad side!"

He grabbed onto the back of the Arwing. I tried shaking him off but it was no use. However, I did have one final option. I had a smart bomb. Even tho it would mean blowing up the Arwing too, it was the only chance I had to save myself.

I pulled the bomb out of the container it was in and then pressed the eject button. I was launched high into the air. While in the air, I threw the bomb best I could towards Metal Face. It hit him... but nothing else happened. He grabbed it and laughed. He then looked up at me. I knew he was now gonna make me feel the pain.

Metal Face: "Nice try, boy. Now prepare to feel pain!"

Just when I thought all hope was lost, the bomb exploded in his hand. I guess it wasn't a dud after all. The explosion grew in Metal Face's hand. It seemed to pull him into it.

Metal Face: "Wait, this ain't how it's meant to go!" I fell onto him. "Hey, get off me!"

Me: "Now it's your turn to feel the pain!"

The Smash stone glowed brightly and some of that glow went onto my hands and legs. I punched and kicked him repeatedly all over until parts of him seemed to start exploding.

Metal Face: "GAH! You little maggot!"

He started falling towards the ground. I jumped off and landed in a conveniently placed pond. I then watched as Metal Face crashed into the ground and exploded. I then saw the Arwing crash land not to far away. It seemed alright, except for the fact that it was now badly damaged.

I climbed out of the pond and shook myself dry. I looked around. I was underneath of the dark cloud now. Not only that, but I could hear fighting. A war? Maybe.

I ran in the direction the noises were coming from. I had to climb a hill to get to it. When I reached the top, I could see what was going down. All the brawlers were fighting dark creatures. Shulk, Sheik, Fox, Meta Knight. I could even see Eve fighting, and Jacob in a Skell, and... Maia. I looked up at the dark cloud. I could sense the presence of Master Head. I called out to him as loud as I could.

Me: "MASTER HEAD!"

My voice echoed loudly. Everyone, even the dark creatures, stopped fighting and turned towards me. Everyone gasped when they saw who I was. Then, from inside the dark cloud. Master Head showed himself. He seemed a lot bigger then the last time I saw him. He looked at me with an evil look that seemed to say "I've been waiting." It was silent for a moment, until Master Head finally spoke.

Master Head: "Nate, I've been waiting for you."
