Jacob's POV:

Lin lead me past a bunch of people preparing for Master Head's arrival. She led me to Elma and Tatsu who was standing next to a Skell that was having a few finishing touches applied to it by some Toads.

Elma: "I was wondering when you'd get here. It's almost all finished up."

Lin: "Welp, here you go. Your own Skell. I know you're gonna love fighting in this thing."

I walked up to it and put my hand on it. I know I was fine with fighting the enemies we encountered earlier, but this felt different.

Tatsu: "Tatsu know that look. Friend is worried about fighting. Afraid he'll be classed as a murderer. Is Tatsu not correct?"

Jacob: "That's not what's bothering me. It's my friend, Nathan. He was taken by them. I just hope he's ok."

Elma: "Well, we kind of know the feeling. Having something close to your heart taken from you can be hard to take in."

Midna then came over. She told Elma and Lin that they were needed somewhere else. The Toads that were working on the Skell soon finished too.

Toad: "All done, you should be all set to go." They left leaving just Midna and me with the Skell.

Midna: "Hey, I brought you some friends."

I turned towards Midna. With her was thePokémon; Lucario, Jet, IV, and Eve. It had been a while since I last saw Jet and IV. And especially my Lucario. Eve came up to me.

Eve: "Sylveon?"

Something told me she was asking if Nathan was ok. I knelt down and put a hand on her head.

Me: "Don't worry. It's going to be alright."

Midna: "I sure hope so. Master Head is a mighty foe. He could easily wipe a brawler from existence if he so chooses." I looked up at Midna. The Pokémon did too. "Ah, I can see I'm not helping the situation. I'll just go make sure everyone else is ready."

And with those words said, Midna left us. I looked back down at Eve. She looked like she was about to cry. I picked her up and hugged her.

Me: "Don't worry. It's going to be alright."

Eve's POV:

I wrapped my ribbons tightly around Jacob's arms. "Master, where are you? I need you! I can't fight like I do without you! Please return to me safely!"  I felt a tear run down my face. I could only imagine what was happening to him right now.

Nathan's POV:

Me: "Alex? You're still alive!?"

Alex: "Who ever said I was dead?"

Me: "Maia believes you're dead. Why would you lie to her like this?"

Alex: "Lie?"

Me: "You made her believe her own brother died. And for what cause?"

Alex: "To protect her."

Me: "Protect her? How is pretending to be dead protecting her?"

Alex: "He was going to kill her!"

Me: I stepped back. "Who's he?"

Alex: "He, uh, well it's more of an it but..."

Susan: "Swarm."

Me: "Who, or, what is Swarm?"

Susan: "It's the darkness that dwells within Master Head. Most people call it his "uncontrollable power"."

Alex: "Some of it was forgotten when trapping Master Head in the machine. Some of it followed Sam, some followed Sally, and some followed me. It knew one of us would find the Smash Stone, and it was correct. I found it. And not too long after, it killed both Sam and Alex. Everyone thought their deaths were "accidental" but only Susan and I know what really happened.

The Swarm threatened to kill my sister too if I didn't give it the Smash Stone. Not wanting her to die, I made a plan. I gave all my electronic devices to Maia and told her I didn't want anyone tracking me with them. I then told the Swarm to meet me in the snowy mountains near Holly Jolly village. I then told Susan and Midna to accompany me there. When we arrived in  the village, I made up a prophecy in hopes that-"

Me: "Wait, you... made it up? It's not true?"

Alex: "What? Did you really think you could destroy Master Head, the strongest being in this universe, all by yourself?"

Me: "Uh, well..."

I looked down at the floor. When I first got here, I thought there was no way I would be able to defeat Master Head. Then, as time progressed, I started to feel more and more confident in my abilities. But now,now that I know it was all just made up, I feel weak again. I fell to my knees and started to cry. I heard Alex walk up to me.

Alex: "Stand up." I slowly looked up at him. "Get up!" I finally stood up. "Just because the prophecy is fake doesn't mean you still can't defeat Master Head."

Me: "How can I trust you, when all you seem to do is lie? I should have just listened to Maia the first time. It would have made everything better."

Alex: He turned around. "Would it?"

Then, without warning, He spun around and tried to punch me. I was thankfully quick enough to react. I grabbed his hand before it could touch my face.

Me: "What are you doing?"

He did a back flip and kicked me in the face. I trembled backwards. He landed on his feet a couple inches away from Susan.

Alex: "Susan..."

Susan: "You don't even have to say it."

With a wave of her hands, the room changed. We were now on a floating platform in the middle of space. How were we breathing, and how was gravity still in effect?. Half of it seemed to be made by a heavenly god while the other side seemed to be made by the devil himself. In the distance, you could see the Earth and the Sun slowly going towards each other. I knew this stage. It was final destination. I was on the good side while Alex and Susan were on the bad side.

3rd Person:

Susan went to the center of the stage. She lifted a hand and created a dark orb with it. When it was big enough, she threw it down onto the stage. It exploded when it hit and Alex started charging towards Nathan. He decided to wait for Alex to get close enough before attacking him.

He readied his leg for a kick. He then trusted it forward to try and hit Alex but the attack missed. Alex jumped over Nate and then came back down with his own kick. Nathan barely dodged the attack. He then threw a fist forward but Alex dodged that to. He threw a few more but he also dodged those.

Alex: "Pathetic, let me show you how a true hero does it."

Alex pulled a fist back and then shit it at lightning speed towards Nate. It was so fast, in fact, that he didn't even have time to react. Alex then hit Nate with an onslaughter of punches. Nathan couldn't keep up with the speed. Alex then kicked him a good distance away, almost off the stage to be exact. Nate was just a couple inches away from falling, but he kept his balance.

The Earth and Sun were about to collide.

Alex then pulled out a heavy metal ball (don't ask where from). He tossed it towards Nathan. He tried dodging it but He slipped and almost fell off of the stage. He was hanging off by only one hand.

The Sun and Earth hit each other and exploded in to a bright light. The background then turned into a weird two sided world. There were clouds both above and below the battlefield.

Alex walked towards Nate. There was a slight grin on his face.

Alex: "I don't believe it. You really are giving up. Just like I did once. I still regret saying those words, "I quit." I wish I could take it back but I can't. It's in the past now, and we can't change it. But sometimes those are good moments. They can help you realize things that you never knew of. But you, chuckle, you're letting this hit you hard. Harder than it did to me. And if you're not gonna realize that you can then I guess Master Head really is going to take over this world." He then walked over to the iron ball that he threw earlier and picked it up. "Sorry, buddy. But this world needs a hero who believes in himself."

He then tossed the iron ball at Nate again. But Nathan felt a burning sensation in his heart. Fe pulled himself up and grabbed the ball before it could hit him. He then tossed it back at Alex who was a bit surprised and almost didn't dodge it.

Nathan: "You're right, this world does need a hero. And that hero is all of us. We need to work together to defeat Master Head."

Alex smiled at this comment. The whole area turned black again. The light from the room shined again... onto Nathan.

Susan: "So, I take it you're ready to fight Master Head."

Nathan: "We. Not one of us can defeat him alone."

Alex: "Well, if you're ready, I am too. Besides, it's time I told Maia the truth."
