Nathan's POV:

I opened my eyes. For a second, I had no memory of what happened. I looked around. I was in some kind of cave. Dark Pit and the Waddle De with the spear and bandana were here too. Dark Pit was sitting near the entrance of the cave while the Waddle De was trying to make his spear stand upright.

I sat up. My arm was wrapped in cloth and attached to my shoulder. I had to know why they saved me. They were villains. I thought they wanted to kill me. I walked over to where Dark Pit was sitting and sat down next to him. I looked out at the scenery. The grass was so green. The breeze was perfect. There was a small stream and little to no trees. And far in the background were glorious mountains, some of which didn't even seem to be following the laws of physics. The sun was setting creating a glorious orange sunset.

There was a solid ten seconds of silence. I looked over at Dark Pit and then back at the scenery. I wasn't sure what to say.

Dark Pit: "Beautiful, isn't it?"

His sentence took me by surprise. I wasn't expecting him to say anything, especially about the scenery. Yes, it was beautiful. It looked like something out of a dream. I didn't say this aloud tho.

Dark Pit: "I come down here from Skyworld every so often to relax." He let out a sigh. "Too bad it will all be destroyed soon."

Me: "Why did you save me back there? Why didn't you just leave me to die?"

Dark Pit: "Because you're the Chosen One. You're the one who has to destroy the darkness that lives in this world."

Me: "But you guys are villains. Why would you want me to destroy the darkness?"

Dark Pit: "Remember the first time you met me?"

Me: "Yes. I stopped you from beating up Pit."

Dark Pit: "That wasn't the real me. It was a dark clone of me."

Me: "A dark clone? But it looked just like you."

Dark Pit: "Master Head's powers have grown exponentially. They're gonna have a rough time fighting him now."

Me: "So, Ganon, K. Rool, Bowser Jr, they were all..."

Dark Pit: "Yes, they were dark clones too. And they all had the same mission; free Master Head. And now that he is free, this land will be covered in darkness again."

I stood up and looked out at the scenery. The Sun was now at a point where we couldn't see it anymore. The sun was still shining with orange and now purple colors. I couldn't imagine what this place would look like covered in darkness.

Me: "What do we do?"

Dark Pit: "Shouldn't you ask yourself that question?"

Me: I looked at him. "What do you mean by that?"

Dark Pit: "You're the chosen one. What are you gonna do to stop Master Head" This whole time he continued to look out over the horizon.

Me: I looked back over the horizon and let out a sigh. "I don't know."

Jacob's POV:

Me: "What do you mean you don't know?"

Maia: "Master Head is a strong foe, and his power continues to grow. It would take a lot more than a single final smash to take him down."

Me: "Then hit him with a bunch all at once."

Maia: "But a single smash ball's power is too great to have another floating near it. That's why the smash stone was created. It can hold the power of 1000 final smashes. without getting too over powered. However, the stone is now in enemy hands, and so is the chosen one."

Me: "So, there's nothing at all we can do?"

Maia: "Well, we can try to fight him. But we wouldn't deal much damage alone."

Me: "Then we gather supplies, weapons, and fighters to fight him."

Maia: "We could do that, but gathering enough resources would take awhile."

Me: "Well, how long do we have until Master Head arrives?"

Maia: "From my knowledge; I'd say he'd be here by sunrise."

Me: "Then we better start gathering arms immediately." Maia thought about this for a bit. "Please, Nathan would want us to do it."

Maia: She let out a sigh and turned towards Midna who was listening to our conversation. "Midna, Tell every brawler to grab supplies and prepare to fight. We have to save the land that gives us freedom."
