Nathan's POV:

I felt something fall on my face. It felt like crumbs. I opened my eyes. I could see the ceiling of the cave. Some small pebbles fell from it. I sat up. I didn't hear anything but I thought I felt a small vibration in the ground. I put my ear on the ground and heard what sounded like an explosion. I got up, made sure I didn't wake anyone up, and exited the cave. The snow was deep. It went up to my knees. I looked around but didn't see anything but I did hear something. It sounded like a hiss from the fire of a match. I turned around and looked down. There was a bomb, and it was about ready to blow! I jumped out of the way just as it had exploded. It blew snow everywhere. I got covered in snow. I could hear voices coming towards me.

???: "I still don't see anyone. Are you sure you're friends are up here."

Midna: "Positive. If they weren't then the Ice Climbers would have come back to the village."

When I heard Midna's voice I dug myself out of the snow and went towards her.

Me: "Midna!"

Midna: She turned to me and a smile grew on her face. "Nathan! You're alright!" We hugged. "Where are the others?"

Me: "They're in the cave." I pointed to the cave and Maia walked out. She was rubbing her eye with her hand.

Maia: "Who's screaming out... Midna!" She ran towards her.

Midna: "Maia! You're ok!"

Maia: "Of course I am. It takes more than a blizzard to keep this girl down."

The Ice Climbers and Eve came out of the cave.

???: "Ok, we found your friends. Now can we please go back to the village?"

I looked at who was talking. it was Bomber Man! (Just like with Ice Climbers I will be abbreviating Bomber Man to "B Man" to make it short and non-confusing."

Midna: "Yes, Bomber Man. We can go now."

B Man: "Good, cause I'm cold and tired."

I C Boy: "I thought Midna said your name was Bomber Man."

B Man: "It is."

I C Girl: "Then why did you say you were Cold And Tired?"

B Man: "I am."

Both Ice Climbers turned their heads in confusion. I just laughed to myself. I picked up Eve.

Me: "Can we just go to the village?" Everyone nodded and we headed for the village. Bomber Man created a path for us with his bombs. "So what village are we going to?"

Midna: "The Holly Jolly Village."

Me: "Is anyone else there?"

B Man: "just some toads and Shovel Knight."

Me: "Shovel Knight? Awesome!"

B Man: "Wait, You know Shovel Knight?"

Me: "I know almost everyone in this universe. If you want I can name them all."

Maia: "No thank you."

B Man: "How do you know almost everyone in this universe? Midna told me you've never been here before."

Midna: "That came as a shock to us too."

B Man: He looked at me in a weird way. "Are you a psychic?"

Me: "No."

B Man: "Then how do you know everyone without even seeing them?"

Me: "Video games."

I C Girl: "Look."

I C Boy: "We're here."

We all looked where the Ice Climbers were pointing. we could see a small village. All the houses looked like snow covered mushrooms. We all wasted no time in going to it. When we cot there Shovel Knight was clearing away some snow with his shovel. He looked up and saw us. (Abbreviating Shovel Knight to 'S.K.')

S.K: "Hey everyone they're back!"

A bunch of toads greeted us as we entered the village. One toad, that looked a lot like Santa, came towards us. I knew he was the mayor.

Mayor: "Hello travelers. Welcome to the Holly Jolly village. To show you how glad we are to see you I'd like to invite all of you to a party at my house."

We all accepted and went to the mayor's house. There was a giant table with food everywhere on it. It was like a giant dinner party. We all chose a seat around the table and sat down. I sat with Midna on my right and Shovel Knight on my left. On the other side of Midna was Maia and the Ice Climbers. On the other side of Shovel Knight was Bomber Man and the mayor, who was at the end of the table. Eve was on the floor behind me. One of the toads gave her a bowl of Pokémon food. We all ate and talked. The mayor asked me a question.

Mayor: "So, Nathan, I hear you're from the human world. Is this true."

Me: "Yes it is."

Mayor: "So what brings you to this world?"

Me: "I'm trying to find my friend, Jacob. He was taken by the creatures of twilight."

Mayor: "I see, and these friends are helping you find him I suppose. Have you had any luck?"

Me: "So far no. We keep running into trouble."

Mayor: "Well if you would like we have some supplies here that could help you on your quest."

Me: "Thanks but I don't think we'll be needing any help."

Mayor: "Are you sure? Some of the items are from one of the Heroes of Smash."

Maia: "The heroes of Smash? Witch one."

Mayor: "Well, I can't remember his name at this moment but if you would like to see some of the stuff that he left-"

Maia: "Yes, show us."

Mayor: "Alright then. servant, bring me my bag."

A toad brought a big brown bag to the mayor. The mayor opened it and pulled a few things out. There was a pair of brass knuckles, a necklace with half of a pendant on it, a picture of the Heroes of Smash, another picture of Alex and Maia, and a pair of binoculars.

Maia: "That's them. That's Alex's binoculars." Maia got up and went over to the mayor's seat. She picked up the Binoculars and looked at them thoroughly. "My brother came through here?"

Mayor: "Yes mam, this was the last place anyone saw him before he disappeared."

Me: "Wait, he disappeared?"

Mayor: "Yep. We tried searching for him several times but no one has ever come back with positive results."

Me: "What about the others?"

B Man: "One went to the Kalos region to help researchPokémon. During a failed experiment they disappeared."

S.K: "The other became a soldier in the kingdom of Hyrule. During a great battle with a vicious beast he died."

Me: "So they're all gone?"

Mayor: "I'm afraid so."

 I put my head down in sorrow. When I did I noticed the silverware on the table was moving. Soon the whole house started to shake.

Me: "What's happening?"

Mayor: "It must be the Flying Krock. It's been passing over head a lot recently."

I then felt something move in my pocket. I reached in and pulled out the pokéball that Lucario was in. I had almost forgotten about it. I let him out.

Me: "What is it, Lucario?"

Lucario ran out the door. I got out of my seat and followed him. I could hear everyone else following behind me. I walked out the door and saw Lucario looking up at the ship. I looked up at it too. I don't know how but for some strange reason I thought I could feel Jacob inside the ship. I looked at Lucario. He had an angry face on. I knew right away that Jacob was, without a doubt, inside that thing. I turned to the mayor

Me: "Do you know where that ship is going?"

Mayor: "It always goes to a castle about a couple of miles from here. Why do you ask?"

Me: "Jacob is in there."

Midna: "What, how can you tell?"

Me: "Lucario can sense if his trainer is near by. And he senses that he's in there." I pointed at the ship.

S.K: "How are we going to get him?"

Maia: "I know how. Lucario, follow the ship until it reaches the castle. Midna, take these goggles." Maia handed Midna the goggles. "Follow Lucario and report back to us what the castle looks like. And, here, take these goggles." Midna put them around her neck.

Midna: "On it."

Me: "Wait, what's going on here."

Maia: "The only way we can get your friend is if we break into the castle. The only way we can break in is with a plan. And I've got the perfect plan."
