It's a Sunday again! I really hope Mummy and Daddy will not make it like the last weekend! I barked my way through the stairs and rushed into their room only to find Mummy awake. Daddy was still sleeping.

"Hey boy! Come here!" She called out to me and when I got near her, she carefully lifted me off the ground and took me with her.

"Your daddy isn't feeling well. Let's not disturb him and make him some breakfast, what say?" She asked.

"Woof!" I barked a yes and tried to go to Daddy to lick him a 'get well soon' but Mummy took me with her.

She gave me some biscuits as she worked on Daddy's breakfast. As I went on munching and barked at Mummy occasionally, I sniffed Daddy's scent and looked up to see him walking into the kitchen.

"Shiv! What are you doing here? You're having fever! I told you to stay put!" Mummy reprimanded Daddy.

I barked in agreement and dashed to Daddy and pulled his pants to bring him to the bed.

"Good boy Espresso! Now watch your Daddy and make sure he doesn't leave the bed until I come!" Mummy told me.

Before Daddy could argue, I dragged him by his pants and led him to their bedroom. Daddy was about to pick his iPad and work but I jumped on him and barked. I need to follow Mummy's instructions!

"Someone is being Mummy's boy!" Daddy told me as he ruffled my hair.

"Oh no! That's my weakness! I can't stay strong if he keeps on doing this!" I immediately shook my head, taking it away from him and gave him a warning bark.

"Okay fine!" Daddy said and laid back.

Mummy walked in with his breakfast a few minutes later and was surprised at how I was guarding Daddy and smiled.

"Good boy Espresso! You kept Daddy put! That's like Mummy's boy!" Mummy patted me and I snuggled into her lap.

"This is not fair! He's become Mummy's boy entirely! No one is in Daddy's team!" Daddy cribbed.

I simply turned my back towards him and snuggled more into Mummy as I whimpered.

"If it's going to be like this, I think I should get Espresso a sister and make her Daddy's girl!" Daddy exclaimed as he dunk into his porridge.

"I'm really not ready to share my parents with anyone else! I really hope Daddy was just kidding!" I thought to myself and snuggled into Daddy now. I'm Mummy's boy but I have to be Daddy's boy too! I don't want a sister!
