The group stepped through the door into a long, golden-tiled hallway.

"Hey, where's sans?" Kara commented, noticing the absence of her boyfriend. The rest looked for him, confused, until they heard his voice.

He stood ahead of them, smiling. His right eye glowed.

A clock faintly chimed in the background.

"It's finally over. The end of your journey is at hand. In a few moments, you will meet the king. Together, you will determine the future of this world. That's then... now..."

Icy air blowed through the hall.

"This is the point where I would pass judgement... but I don't need to. I've been wth you nearly every step of the way. You've lose and gained, but your hearts remain pure"

Kara stepped forwards uncertainly. He opened his arms and she hugged him.

"You can see... no... WE can go see the king. Shall we?"

The air warmed.

The group smiled as they continued.

Leaving the final hallway, they enter a long grey hallway.

Then... the palace garden.

The faint sound if birds chirping. The smell of cut grass. The whistling... of their final obstacle.

The leaves crunched between there feet, and the king paused. The group held their breath.

"Oh, is someone there? Just a moment. I am nearly done watering these flowers"

Sans squeezed kara's hand encouragingly.

The king turned around.

"Howdy! How can i-"

He paused, shock evident on his face.

"Oh! ...there are so many of you"

Naruto grabbed Mia's hand. She glanced at him, blushing, but he didn't let go. She smiled and looked determinedly at the king.

"I so badly want to talk but... there should not delay the inevitable"

Devon glanced at Abigail. She glanced back, and he felt his cheeks heat up as he stepped closer to her. Her golden eyes sparkled.

"You know what must happen, right?" He looked sad.

James wrapped his arms around Clarence's shoulder. Clarence leaned into him.

Lucy clutched at her hands nervously.

"When you feel you are ready, come to the next room"

A strange light filled the room. Twilight shines through the barrier... it seems the journey is finally over.
