Naruto slowly walked through the arch, finding himself in a big circular room.

A gnarled tree stood in front of him, and he heard toriels voice call out.

"Oh dear, that took longer than I though it would..."

He saw toriel just ahead, lifting up a phone to her ear when she spotted him and lowered it with a look of suprise.

"Oh, how did you get here my child? Are you hurt?"

"Well..." Naruto thought back on the agony earlier, the feeling of his hand being consumed by flames, but for some reason didn't want to share this with her. "No, I'm fine"

However, toriel noticed a small gash on his side that he had gotten from a monster, and a look of sadness appeared. "Who did this to you?"

"Oh, uh"

"You will get an apology" Naruto held back a giggle at how annoyed toriel looked.

"I shouldn't have left you alone for so long, it was irresponsible of me to try to suprise you like this"

Naruto stared up at her. "I, uh..... Suprise?"

"Well, I suppose I cannot hide it much longer. Come, small one' and she walked up t the entrance of a house.

Naruto then noticed a restoration star, and practically dived into it.

Seeing such a cute, quiet house in the ruins filled him with determination.

He slowly followed toriel into the house.... Or into home.
