Abigail's dream
Since Abigail is in an unconscious state, I wanted to write out her dream. Keep aware that EVERYTHING in this chapter is a dream. EVERYTHING.

Abigail slowly sat up. She was in a beautiful field. She could hear the twittering sound of birds, and the faint rustling of leaves.
She sat peacefully, not even questioning the nonsensical setting. It was peaceful, and she was gonna soak in the moment.
She heard the sound of footsteps. She drew her legs up to her chest and rested her head on them, not turning her head to address the person. They sat next to her, and she felt them wrap their arm around her.
"Hey" they said. "I'm sorry about everything"
She kept her head between her knees, neither resisting or appreciating their touch.
"Please, talk to me" they begged. "Isn't a sorry enough?"
Abigail sobbed. Her fingers clenched, and she jumped up. "NO, IT ISN'T!"
Their face was shrouded in a shadow, despite how bright the surroundings were. She shook their shoulders furiously.
"YOU CAN NEVER MAKE IT UP TO ME! NEVER!"
They didn't respond, until she turned around and glared at nothing. Then they simply said "I know"
She ran. She couldn't face them. She ran and ran until she slipped and landed on her face. She was about to get up when a hand was offered to her.
She gave up and took it. She sighed as they pulled her to their chest. She buried her face in their jacket.
Her grip slowly loosened as they began to vanish. She backed up immediately, eyes wide as they dissolved in her hand. She could see their face now. So smug and yet so full of sorrow.
"DON'T LEAVE!" She screamed, swatting at them, but her hand phased right through. They gave her a small smile.
"I'm so sorry"
And then they were gone.
She grasped at empty air before collapsing onto her knees and hugging her sides. She continued to sob.
"I-i'm sorry too..... Devon"
