Dani was in her homeroom again a day later when Ryker burst into song. Ryker was like your average "bad boy" with leather jackets and such. Despite that, Ryker was a theatre kid, he always seemed to sign up for the yearly school play. Yes. A school for shifters had plays. Not only that, Beartooth had also not-ters subjects like Maths. Ryker was singing Loathing from Tricked. Ryker also had another thing odd thing about him, well, odd in the sense of his looks. His voice was soft and velvety, like the boys in the boy band Forestreet Boys. He sung Loathing beautifully. Ryker almost always got the lead in the school play. Dani just sat watching him. He was singing Elphapa's parts. Dani joined in softly, singing   Blinda's parts. She stopped when Blinda had solos. Dani had forgotten Catherine and Kayla were beside her. Kayla poked her in the side. "Hey Ryni!" She whispered. Dani didn't know why'd she'd called her Ryni. Then it hit her.

"Kay-laaaaaaah...." She moaned, placing her face on the desk in frustration. Kayla shot her a look. Somewhere in between slyness and amusement. Ryker seemed to jump over to their table.

"Hello, Dani, girls," he said. Ryker proceeded to take out a piece of paper from his pocket and place it on Dani's desk. He turned to Dani. Ryker was so excited he sort of spazed in between his human form and animal form. For example his arms turned to into ebony wings in excitement. He changed back to his arms, blushing slightly. "Sorry," he said, scratching his cheek. Ryker seemed to get over the embarrassment almost immediately. "So, Dani, will you take part in the school play?"

"Uh..." The question had caught Dani off guard. She'd never expected Ryker of all people to ask her that. Kayla or Catherine or maybe even Morgan, but never Ryker. "...No?" It sounded more like a question than an answer.

"Ah come on, I've heard you sing," Ryker replied causing Dani to freeze. Dani felt heat rise in her cheeks.

"Y-you have?" Dani was shocked. Where could have he ever possibly heard her train wreck of a voice? Had he been stalking her?

"I might've recorded you singing, Lifetime by Seinz Finckler and sent it to him."

"Kayla!" Dani growled. She wasn't human anymore but a wolf. "Why would you do that?!" Dani was completely incredulous Kayla'd done that.

"You have a beautiful voice," Ryker said changing the subject and causing Dani to blush more. Ryker slid the piece of paper under her hand and then removed his hand from the paper, but his hand hovered close to hers, like he wanted to do something more with it. "It c-could really belong in a play. It has that sound."

"I'll think about it." Dani replied and Ryker smiled. He then turned away and walked to his desk, started either writing or drawing on a piece of paper and put in his ear phones.

Homeroom period had ended and Dani and Catherine were in their dorm, waiting for the next class to start. Dani was drawing, Catherine was dozing, and then Kayla burst into the dorm, sending a gust of air that made Dani's paper fall to the floor. The ruckus had awoken Catherine as well. Kayla walked toward Dani. "Dani. I saw Ryker and his friends walking this way and they were talking about something."

"That should interest us why?" Said Catherine, groggily. She looked half asleep. "And they were probably walking to class. Probably one of the Male-Only PT aka Physical Torture sessions."

Kayla looked at them. "Don't you guys hear the theories on these boys?"

"The theories you made up?" Dani replied. "Yes. Plenty o' times."

"You don't think they have any weight...."

"Kayla there is no solid evidence that any of these boys reciprocate our feelings." Kayla blushed.

"What's all this talk about f-feelings?" Catherine and Dani gave each other a look that read Not this again....

"Kayla. Just admit you have feelings for Benjamin. We've already accepted ours." Dani said casting a glance at Catherine , who nodded in agreement.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

Dani sighed and Catherine shared the look of Oh boy...
