Two hours later, after a rather uneventful bus ride, the Grade 11's arrived at the retreat location. Dani felt hot and lethargic. And a bit faint. The bus had been an oven, to put it lightly. Her friends had not fared much better. Kayla had gone pale and Catherine was sweating up a storm. Dani couldn't see the boys. Dani wasn't really paying attention when the teachers were explaining what they would be doing for the next few days. Dani knew that if she shifted now, her wolf form would only be able to pant.

An indeterminable time later, Dani felt much better. She and her friends had decided to dorm together, along with Niomi. The 'den-ing' arrangements were not to shabby, all four girls had beds. In some of the dorms, maybe one or two, a person or two had to sleep on the floor on mattresses, but that was just because of the sheer size of the grade. Girls and boys weren't allowed to dorm together, for obvious reasons. The same reasons they had back at school. The teachers had given them all 'chill' time. Understandable, Dani thought, thinking about the teachers. Even though they had tried to hide it, anyone could see they were hot and bothered as well. Niomi spoke, breaking the silence. "I wonder what the boys are doing," she mumbled, quietly even though in the already silent room it was loud and clear.

"You're worried about Quin aren't you?" Kayla asked suddenly. Dani, Catherine and her looked at each other. They already knew the answer. Niomi turned red, but she didn't reply. Niomi was looking at the ground.

"N-no I'm not worried a-about him," Niomi replied eventually. Her black hair looked like a waterfall on her raised shoulders.

"Okay. So if you're not worried, why you ask about what the boys are doing?" Kayla replied with a question. Niomi's shy expression soon turned to one of anger and she shouted something in Japanese, Dani assumed it was a swear and was glad she couldn't understand Japanese. Niomi had stormed off.

"Kayla, how's progress with Ben going?" Dani asked, trying to change the subject. Kayla looked at her straight in the eye.

"Well, he hasn't come out and said it, like Ryker said he would, but I suspect it."

"Maybe he's waiting for the right moment, if what Ryker said reigns true, he won't make you wait," Dani replied. She heard a knocking on the door. "We'll be out in a bit!"

"Okay," said the person behind the door, who Dani instantly recognized as her boyfriend. Dani turned toward Catherine.

"Any progress with you and Timothy?"

"Well, he has been doing nice things for m- Wait. Why do you ask?" Dani sat up straight.

"N-No reason!" Dani and Kayla shot panicked looks at each other.

"Y-Yeah! I-I'm sure there's n-no reason."

"...well. Okay then." Catherine gave them odd looks. Dani walked out of the dorm and followed Ryker to the place that the teachers had dubbed 'Headquarters'. The teachers were waiting and there was a big pot behind them. Dani and Ryker went back to their dorms and returned with crockery and cutlery. The rest of the boys and Catherine and Kayla had arrived also with plates, knives and forks. The rest of the grade was already gathered. Morgan with Ezekiel, Meredith with Yvonne, Mack with Josephine, and the rest that Dani didn't remember the names of.

"Today," said Teacher 1.

"This afternoon is," said Teacher 2.

"Burgers!" The third teacher excitedly yowled.

"Patricia and Natricia look offended," Kayla commented. Dani looked over to the fraternal twins. Patricia's face was clearly showing offense, while Natricia's blank green eyes stared at the teachers, a mundane look on her face. Dani was not sure Natricia but Patricia was clearly offended. The grade was called up to self serve their burgers. Dani chose a chicken patty, as she disliked beef patties. The rolls were already buttered, so Dani just had to put tomato sauce on. She sat down at a table, where she was joined by Teacher 3, her friends, the boys, Niomi and Quin. Dani ignored Teacher 3's rambling speech. She busied herself observing Quiomi, as she'd liked to call them. Out of the corners of her eyes she watched Benla and Cathothy. It was a tiring experience, to say the least. She refocused on only Quiomi. She silently watched them. It was more of the same, staring.

"So which of you guys is in a RELATIONSHIPPPP~?" Teacher 3's tone wanted to make Dani throw up. She answered anyway, and then she walked off to get a second helping.
