Hope looked around the lair. Holly was strung around the room. Christmas lights twinkled on the floor. Boxes of decorations were spread around the room.

It was Christmas time in New York.

Hope sneaked past the rooms where her family was asleep and to her. She quietly pushed open the door and looked inside.

Her rugs were spread across the cement floor. Her few pictures were in their places and dusted. Even her bed was made.

"Home, sweet home," she said, setting down her suitcase and flopping onto her bed. She fell asleep.

The next morning, Hope rushed to see her brothers. She found the in the kitchen.

Mikey was cooking pancakes, eggs, and bacon for breakfast. Leo was glaring at the toaster as it cooked toast for breakfast.

It was well known that Leo and the toaster didn't like each other. It would light on fire every time Leo used it and Leo would smash it to bits, making Donnie fix it.

Raph was doing push-ups on the floor. Donnie sat at the counter drinking a cup of black coffee. Hope was always amazed at the fact Donnie could drink that stuff.

"Morning guys," Hope said and braced for impacted.

"Hope!" the four brothers turned to face their sister and rushed to hug her.

Hope was crushed in a bear hug that she had been missing for a long time.

"When did you get home?" Donnie asked, taking his seat.

"Late last night. But I didn't want to wake you," she said, taking a seat herself.

"My daughter, it is good to see you home in time for Christmas," Master Splinter said.

Hope turned and hugged her father. He felt warm and comfortable, just as he had when she had left.

"Is Cole coming for Christmas?" Mikey asked.

Hope sat there. She really hadn't thought of inviting Cole. He usually came over during the summer, rushing back to Ninjago when trouble struck. But when it came to rushing home for Christmas, all she was really thinking about was her family.

"I...didn't ask," Hope said, sheepishly. "'I kinda headed straight home."

"Keep in mind Hope... Ninjago is your home too," Master Splinter said softly.

Hope nodded. She was born in Ninjago, but she was raised in New York with her brothers. New York had been the only home she ever knew until she first went to Ninjago a few years ago.

"I wouldn't mind Cole comin' over," Raph said, stretching. "We still need to finish that push-up competition."

"I think Cole wants to spend Christmas with the team..." Hope sighed.

"Then invite the whole team over. I've been dying to get a closer look at Zane's system..." Donnie said, smiling.

"Don't we need to ask Master Splinter first?" Leo glared at Donnie.

"I do not see a problem," Master Splinter nodded.

A grin slowly crept onto Hope face.

She rushed to her room and grabbed her shell cell. Donnie had made it so she could call anywhere, even Ninjago. Hope punched in Cole's number.

"Hi, Babe," Cole said, answering it.

"Hello Rocky. Read the caller ID for once," she said, playfully.

"Yep, so what were you calling about?"

"Put it on speaker first," Hope said.

"Hi, Hope," Willow said.

"Sup," Kai said.

"Greetings," Zane said.

After the rest of the ninja greeted Hope, she got down to business.  

"You guys can come over for Christmas," she said.

"Really?" Lloyd asked.

"Well... If you guys don't have plans..." Hope began.

"Done," Willow interuped.

"I thought Eric had plans for you," Zane said in the distance.

"He planned to take me on a cruise," Willow argued "I don't want to spend Christmas on a boat. Especially after what happened in Halloween."

"Yeah... Don't do that again," Cole said.

"I don't plan to step on a boat until next year," Willow assured.

"I had fun," Taylor spoke up.

"Not when Willow was kidnapped," Nya said.

"Guys, back on subject," Hope said stopping that fight before it started.

"Oh... I want to go," Emma broke through "I don't think Luna is ready to have Christmas with me just yet."

"The family usually visits the Junkyard on Christmas," Jay sighed.

"Me and Nya will come," Kai informed.

"I'm coming," Jay quickly changed his mind.

"I have no family to spend Christmas with but this one," Zane said, confirming his arrival.

"Always wanted to see New York at Christmas time," Taylor imagined.

"Can my parents and uncle come?" Lloyd asked.

"Of course," Hope said, smiling.

"Then I'm in," Lloyd answered.

"What about you, Cole?" Hope asked her boyfriend.

"Anything to get out of Christmas caroling," Cole stated.

"Alright. I make sure and tell everyone. Bye," Hope said and hung up.

"THEY'RE COMING!!!!!!!!" Hope shouted to her family.
