Sam's POV

After I released the master of fire, I walked back into the room he was held in. Before I could do anything, Rain stopped me. "YOU IDIOT! MASTER IS GOING TO KILL YOU! WHY DID YOU RELEASE HIM!" She yelled. "I DID NO SUCH THING!" I lied. "I WATCHED YOU!" Rain screamed. "Your seeing things" I told her. Rain stormed off, so much for my plan. The plan was, release the master of fire, then pretend he escaped and beat us up. "Whatever" I said. If Rain is right, master is most certainly going to kill me. Slowing his process might work, but how? I did not know. If I can't think of plan, then I am doomed.

Destiny's POV

"What?" Lloyd asked. "Kai was here, something happened" I told him. I started blushing. "Lloyd! Destiny!" It was Nya. "Over here!" I yelled. Nya came out from behind some trees. "Dest is at the beach." Nya said. "Really? Did you walk all the way back?" Lloyd asked. "No. She was there when I informed sensei" She said. "Oh. We think Kai was in this area. But something happened" I told Nya. "What do you mean?" Nya asked. "Here look at this" Lloyd said. Nya walked towards the strange mark and studied it. "What is it?" She asked. "Not sure" I said. "Alright, does it lead anywhere?" Nya asked. "This is where it lead" Lloyd said. Lloyd moved a leaf, to reveal a clearing in the jungle, with the strange mark engraved into the trees surrounding it. "Intriguing" She said. What does that mean? I shook my head. "Guys!" I turned around. "It's me! Jay! We have to go! QUICKLY!" Jay yelled. I looked at Lloyd and Nya. Nya didn't want to go without Kai. "Jay? What's going on?" I yelled. "It's hard to describe" Jay yelled. Lloyd ran past me. "Nya, I know you want to find Kai, but if it's an emergency, we are most likely going to get hurt if we don't go" I told her. "But" Nya said. I looked at her. "He's going to be alright" I said. Nya finally decided to go. "We're coming!" I yelled. Nya ran past me and I followed. When we got to the beach, a dark cloud was circling the island. "What is that?" I asked. "That is a cloud of darkness" Sensei said. "What?" Dest asked. "Someone is controlling it" Zane said. "Craig?" Nya asked. "No, the other one" Sensei said. Other one? "The ginger haired girl" Jay said. "Correct" Sensei said. "Everyone in the boat!" Cole yelled. We all rushed to the boat. "Now what? Won't she follow us?" Lloyd asked. "No, Cole use your elemental powers and see if you can hit her" Sensei said. Cole jumped out of the boat and focused. Parts of the earth came out of the ground. Cole threw them at the dark cloud. "AHHH" "Bullseye!" Cole yelled jumping into the boat. Lloyd and Jay started to row the boat. I looked back at the island. What secrets did it hold? I turned back around to see Nya looking at the empty seat next to Sensei. My hair turned grey. "Don't worry" I told her.

Kai's POV

I can't believe it! Sam released me. Is he good or was this planned? I ran into an ally and hid behind an dumpster. I slowly opened the paper. I gasped. The first part of the plan was to capture me, then send a message to the others were a trap would be waiting at the location. Once the others were trapped, the shadow warrior was going to execute Dest, then he was going to take over Ninjago, starting with Ninjago City. I need to find the others, and I need to find them now. "Hello..." I looked to the side and jumped. It was the shadow warrior. I jumped up and ran. "YOU CAN'T ESCAPE FROM ME" He said. How did he find me? Did Sam rat me out? "You might have escaped the building...But you can't escape me" That answers my question. I turned left on South 8th Street. Dead end. I had to think quickly. I lit my hand on fire and fired it at the shadow warrior. He blocked my attack with black smoke. I ran straight at him. He laughed. His hands were covered with black smoke. I jumped over the shadow warrior and ran.

Nya's POV

I was really worried about Kai. What if he is still on the island and we left him? "We're close to Ninjago" Sensei said. I looked at the empty seat next to Sensei. "Wait a second" Dest said. Jay and Lloyd stopped rowing. "How did the ginger haired girl know where we were?" She asked. Everyone looked at each other. "I am assuming that the shadow warrior sent her" Zane said. Jay and Lloyd continued to row. How did the girl find us? Maybe Zane is right, maybe the shadow warrior did send her. Isn't the shadow warrior hunting Dest? Maybe he is keeping an eye on her. The boat hit land. "NINJAGO, Glad to be back!" Cole said. "We will stay at Darreth's Dojo. Then go from there" Sensei said. We all got out of the boat and started walking. Dest walked beside me. "You okay?" She asked. "No not really" I said. "What's it like?" Dest asked. "To have a brother? It's great. You both protect each other, and you worry and" I started to tear up. "Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you. It's just, I've never really knew my family" Dest said. Wow, I never knew this about Dest. She is the master of kindness, I thought her life would've been terrific. After a couple minutes of walking, we stopped. "Ninjago City" Destiny said. Ninjago City, didn't look different or taken over, it was just quiet. Normally, It's busy. We continued walking. The streets were abandoned, and the shops were all closed. Lucky for us, Darreth's Dojo, wasn't closed. "Hello! My elemental friends! How are you? What can the brown ninja, do for you?" Darreth said. "Darreth, The bounty has crashed" Sensei said. "No worry, you can stay here, I'll call it Darreth's Dojo, and Hotel. That has a nice ring to it" Darreth said admiring his trophies. "Thanks Darreth" Dest said. We walked down the hall and into separate rooms. I sat on the floor. I wonder if the TV store is open. Time for some snooping.

Jay's POV

I opened my door, it was around 5:30 in the morning, and I had heard someone's door open. I looked down the hall, to see someone in a black hood. They had come out of Nya's room. I waited for a minute, then ran into Nya's room. She wasn't there. I left Nya's room, and kept my eye on the person in the black hood. Who is this? Is it the shadow warrior? They left the dojo and walked down main street. I followed very closely, they turned around and stopped. They shrugged their shoulders and continued walking. A few minutes later, they stopped in front of the TV store. The door opened and they walked in. I followed them. They were behind the counter, was this a robbery? All the TVs turned on. "Perfect" I stood up and walked towards the counter. "Nya?" I asked. She turned around and took off her hood. "Jay? What are you doing here?" She asked. "Following you" I said slowly. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Hacking the TV store, so I can track down enemies, and hopefully, find out if Kai is still on Chen's Island" Nya said. The TVs all turned to static, then Sam's face showed. "Hello!" I screamed for a second. "Relax, It's Sam, The master of fire has been released into Ninjago City. Have you seen the plans?" Sam asked. "What plans?" I asked. Nya smiled. I would to, if someone told me, my sibling is in Ninjago City, and not stranded on an island. "The shadow warrior's plans! I gave them to him when, he left the building" Sam said. "No, we haven't seen Kai or the plans" Nya said. "That's not good, hold be quiet" Sam said. Nya and I waited, listening to what was going on. "THATS THE LAST TIME YOU DISOBEY ME!!!" "No PLEASE" Sam yelled. All we heard was Sam's screams after that. We waited for a couple of seconds when someone else popped out. He had black and green hair, a maroon mask, he had red eyes. He also wore a black and green shirt. "Why hello there. I'm" "The SHADOW WARRIOR" Nya yelled. "Why yes" He said. "What do you want?" I asked. "Ninjago, duh" He said. "What have you done with Kai?" Nya asked. "Nothing...Yet" Nya and I gasped. "If you lay a finger on my brother, so help me, I'll" Nya yelled. I held her back, so she didn't hit the TV. "Relax, if you want to save him, get to my location before 7" The shadow warrior said. The TV went to static. "I'm going to! UGH!" Nya yelled. "Wait, What's that" Nya looked back at the TV, in black smoke, or magic, an address appeared. 775 Hills Ally. "We have to tell the others" Nya said.
