Me: The second chapter of A Shade of Love and Hate.

Zero continued to look around. There was no sign of X anywhere. Zero began to feel concerned. He thought X would approve but he did not. Zero began to realize something. X actually had feelings for him and he was jealous that Zero was gonna get married.

Meanwhile...

X was far away. "I'm not returning there again." He said. "If he is gonna marry Iris, then he can go ahead and be a jackass and marry him." He walked even more. He was walking down a path until somebody called out his name.

"X!" The voice said. X turned around to see Rock. "Rock?" He asked. Rock nodded. "Where have you been?" Rock asked to him. How should he reply to question. X didn't want to tell Rock the truth. But he knew he have to.

After explaining...

"Are you serious?!" Rock yelled. "He's getting married to Iris?!" X nodded. Rock knew his feelings for Zero. Rock understood how this had effected X badly. He wiped some tears off, since he did cry while explaining. "I know! It's so horrible!" X said. "It's horrible that he doesn't notice my feelings for him!"

Rock put a hand on his X's shoulder. "I know...I know..." Rock said. X hugged him as he began crying again. Rock hugged back. "Rock, I want to ask you something..." X said. Rock looked at him. "Go ahead." He said.

"Why are you so nice to me?" X asked to him. Rock looked at him, feeling a little dumbfounded. "I'm nice to you because you are a great person!" Rock said. "You're so nice and generous! You say nice things and dress nice!" X smiled. Rock can use any way to calm him down when he is feeling sadness.

After all, Rock is his best friend.

X then pet Rock's head and smiled as he wiped his tears away. "Thank you, Rock." He said. Rock smiled. "No problem, X." He said. "Wherever you are going, I'm coming along."

X hesitated. "Are you sure, Rock?" He asked to him. "You do know what you are getting yourself into, yes?" Rock nodded and made a cute pout. "Of course I do!" He replied to him. "I want to make you happy when you're sad!" He said. X was taken aback from that, but he smiled. "Thank you, Rock."

Rock's pout then subsided. He smiled and nodded.
