Personality:
Adrienne has a genuine kind and sweet heart which is also shown on the outside, yet she is definitely not a pushover. She wouldn't go as far as to call herself stubborn, yet she is definitely assertive at times when it is necessary.

On the other hand, Adrienne can be rather clumsy which she gets very frustrated with herself for, as well as the fact that she can get rather awkward. The girl is often oblivious to others' feelings towards her which can be frustrating for others. Adri isn't the most extroverted girl, and would prefer to lock herself in the Newsome Library by herself for days on end to read, staying in her bubble of shyness. She has been called 'adorable' on many occasions which she isn't fond of.

She's too curious for her own good, and gets very determined and slightly pushy in her pursuit to learn things about the history of Illéa. She hates not knowing about her family past, and will forever search for new books on them, even though she knows it's virtually impossible. She's also very excitable, especially when it comes to her best friend Princess Gianna calling or sending letters.

Once she's close to someone though, her shy exterior can melt away and reveal her bubbly and sometimes quirky self. She doesn't agree with certain things that go on behind closed doors, but she has been taught to bite her tongue. She has good manners and etiquette, is educated and intelligent, as well as quick witted, and when she wants to be, sassy and fun. She has a good sense of humour, and if the time is right she can be quite funny herself.

Despite having been brought up to wake up at the crack of dawn, Princess Adrienne is absolutely not a morning person. If given the opportunity to, she'd sleep in until midday.

History:
She was born as the second child to Edith and Clayton Schreave after Edith had won her Selection. Her brother was two years older than her. From as soon as she could properly comprehend things, Adrienne realised that she could climb to the top of Mount Everest and everyone would still focus on her looks. She never understood why people were so focused on how good she looked, what style of dress she was wearing. All that the small girl understood was how much she hated it. When she was nine, she learnt all of the digits to pi. All she got in return was "Oh, look what a pretty girl Adri is!"

Every time that she spoke up about it, she was reprimanded, so she just got used to it in the end. It was also kind of clear that she was  Edith's favourite child despite how hard the woman was on her, and Adrienne felt absolutely awful for that. How was that possibly fair? They should have been loved equally, right? Either way, she had to take that in her stride too. You might think that being the favourite was the dream, but with having to maintain this perfect little good girl facade, it stressed her out a lot. She couldn't do this, she couldn't do that. Couldn't wear this, couldn't wear that.

By the time she was 11, she had learnt to live with it and become somewhat happier than when she were younger, though on occasions she'd go running through the gardens and tear a dress, or forget her tiara. At nearly seventeen, she still does that now. Her maids are lifesavers, Adrienne would probably forget her head if it wasn't screwed in right if it wasn't for them. Her parents never found out a thing.

Her brother was sent off to help fight the Southern Rebels, and Adrienne absolutely did not want him to go. She wanted him to stay there, with her! So he could be crowned King of Illéa, and she wouldn't have to take on all that responsibility as Queen if anything happened! Alas, her begs meant nothing, and her older brother Quentin went off without her, leaving her at her parents wrath.

When her Selection was announced to her over breakfast on the morning of the Illéa Capital Report, Adri realised that she had been the last to know about it. Her maids knew, the kitchen staff knew, the host of the Report knew, her entire family knew, everyone apart from her and Illéa knew. How much went over her head? She had to agree though - no matter how badly she didn't want to.

Queen Edith Schreave -
Mother. Edith likes things to go to plan and is full of empty threats towards her family, specifically her daughter, mostly consisting of banning her from the library. Even though Adrienne is her favourite, she is quite tough on her. Edith was originally a Six, from Calgary before winning her Selection. She's loved throughout the country and is an ambassador for eating disorders, often going out of the palace to go and speak publicly or to support groups.  Adrienne really does love her mother most of the time though, despite never feeling like anything she does for her is enough. Father. Adrienne likes how laid back her father is, and sometimes she wonders if his wife was actually the princess and he was married in, though she knows that it's not true. She's quite close with her father and has a good relationship with him. (RPed by QuintexQuota )

Brother (Older.) When Quentin came back from fighting, Adrienne was over the moon. She loves her older brother with everything she has, and really cares about his opinions on everything. The two are very close and have a good relationship. (RPed by QuintexQuota )

Aunt. She's from Edith's side of the family, and goes by either El or Louise. She's bubbly and funny, with the grace of a bull in a china shop. She's had plenty of past romances, but is yet to settle down. Adrienne is very close with her aunt, and she comes over often. (RPed by IfYouSeekAmy_ )

Ruby Piper -
Maid. Ruby has been Adrienne's head maid since Adri was a baby. She's in her early fifties and is often rather strict with the princess in a playful manner. She only allows Alisha and Adrienne to address her by nickname, Rubes, and even then she isn't awfully fond of it. She is rather old-fashioned But is willing to sweep that aside for Adrienne, for she knows the princess better than most people. Alisha Blake -
Maid. Alisha is about 24, and has been Adrienne's secondary maid since she were 19. Alisha is a shy girl much like the princess, and the two girls will often read or play darts, cards etc together. Gianna Moretti -
Italian princess. The two have been inseparable since they were small, and have been best friends since before they could even properly talk. She goes by Gia and is very bubbly, outgoing and extroverted. She's one of those friends who Adri's known forever but would never see herself making now. Gia comes over quite often as she's always up for a visit to see her best friend. Her birthday was a few days before Adrienne's Selection started, and she will at one point show up. Interviewer/Reporter. Adrienne is very close with the young reporter, and loves her interviews with her. She speaks with Ember outside of their interviews too, and the two exchange books to talk about. They giggle and laugh a lot like schoolgirls, talking about anything and everything. Harrison Whitewater -
Teacher of the Selected. Adrienne is very excited for one of her friends since childhood to be teaching her future husband. She loves hanging out with Harrison, despite how much older he is. She found that she gets along with older people rather well, her only friends under 20 being Gianna and her family. Adrienne knows about Harrison's feelings for Ember and fangirls about it. Who She's Looking For:
She doesn't know for definite, but there are things that she likes. She'd like someone who can bring her out of her shell, and she'd also like someone who can make her laugh. She's looking for someone who's flirty in a way that will make her blush and not feel uncomfortable, but she doesn't want anybody controlling, purely due to the fact that she knows she'd just do whatever they'd ask because of the way she is, even with her assertiveness. She likes quite a bit of protectiveness, but there is a line where it gets too much and crosses into possessiveness. If the person she's with can't trust her, then she can't trust them.
