Nagisa's POV
I've been going to the hospital a LOT more since second year, but at least I'm able to go to school this year. Although I have really bad grades I started to take a liking to school. Since, well, this will be the first year of junior high without Asano.

Anyway... my conditions gotten worse. And it's been taking a toll on my mother's wallet. Since my father's disappearance she had to take care of me all by herself. She was not happy about that.

My condition only started to get worse once she started to abuse me. Saying these like how I've been a burden. Or how worthless I am. I guess my illness was just too much for her, so she eventually grown to hate me. She's lost it. She's not how she used to be. Kind... caring... she was always willing to help me out qwith my medical care. But I guess that was just a mask. It's understandable though, since I have one too.

She decided to give me a "lesson" this morning before I headed out. School was the only escape from her. I tried my best to hide the scars and bruises before I left. I just didn't want anyone to worry. Or anyone to be friends with me out of pity, which is another reason why I don't want to tell others about my illness.

I headed to the old school campus, class 3-E, which was atop the mountain. Of course hiking up this mountain is extremely bad for my health. So I got up extra early just for this. Yaaay wilderness... I approached a bunch if animals that were JUST SO DARN ADORABLE!! I envy their lives. They may have it rough in the wilderness but it HAS to be better than my life.
To be honest, I always liked snakes. I admire them. Most of the time I see them when they have a rat in their mouths. It's really cool how they can protect themselves. How they are so observant of their surroundings and how dangerous they are.

The building was within my field of sight, so I thought that I'd just find a tree to lie down under. Due to me being really early, I got sleepy and accidentally fell asleep.

"Nagisa! Is that you? Nagisa.... Nagisa... NAGISA WHY WON'T YOU FREAKING WAKE UP?!!?"
I knew who the voice was. It was Kaede! It makes me happy that I actually knew someone here. But I was too tired to say 'hi' so instead I just pretended I was asleep.

Kayano's POV
It's my first day to Class 3-E and all I can think about is about how I should act around others. Then I saw Nagisa sleeping underneath the tree. It reminds me of first year where I would always see her and Karma under the tree sleeping together during lunch. I THOUGHT FOR SURE THEY'D GET TOGETHER BUT NUH! STUPID ASANO CAME IN AND ASKED HER OUT!!! STUPID NAGISA SAID YES!!! STUPID KARMA DIDN'T STOP THE MARRIAG- I mean stop them dating. Just hurry up and get married you two.

Anyway.. I went to go wake her up.
"Nagisa..." No reply.
"Nagisa is that you?" Nothing.
"Nagisa... Nagisa..." Nothing. Okay... try to calm down... I can't calm down.
"NAGISA WHY WON'T YOU FREAKING WAKE UP?!!?" Not. A. Single. Word. Then a lovely idea popped into my head.
"Oh it's you. Hi Karma!" I yelled into the distance with nobody standing there. Yup. I know. Pretty cruel knowing how sad she's been since her 'relationship' with him is over.

All of a sudden I saw Nagisa jolt back up looking where I was once looking. She had a bit of a disappointed face but recovered quickly and looked at me blank-faced. I wonder what that was.

Nagisa's POV
"Oh it's you. Hi Karma!" I heard Kaede say. By instinct, I swear, I stood up and looked for a certain red-head. Realizing she was lying when I saw her face, which by the way was really creepy. I looked at her with a blank face, trying to give her the message I was conveying: 'What the fudge?'

I saw her look at the time and immediately went racing to the building. I realized her reason for doing that and immediately went towards that direction, but had also immediately face planted onto the floor. But luckily someone helped me up.

"Whoa, are you okay?" Somebody said behind me.
