Memories into the past

(3 days later)

Alya called Marinette before calling Adrien right after she hung up the phone and grabbed her personal phone book. Yes, she had a phone book. It was only a small black one, easy to carry around. Nino would constantly tease her for it, but sucks for him, he is the one using all his storage on his phone for contacts!

It didn't even take two seconds for Marinette to agree. In fact, once Alya said "reunion with the gang" she automatically said yes. Alya also had to tell Mari about the Adrien news. Somehow it didn't surprise Marinette about his choice, she rather seemed like she already knew, but she didn't, since obviously Italy didn't get Paris magazines.

With convincing Adrien, was the hardest part. Before she got to ask him about the reunion, he asked her if she "read any good news lately." Alya knew he was trying to find out if she knew or not. So she lied. She said that it's all boring gossip that no one cares about. She also added that she hasn't got time to read any new magazines lately. So cleaver minded.

When she mentioned the reunion, his tone lit up. At least for the first few seconds. Once his voice gave off a hint of worry, she knew that he realized he will be asked questions that he won't want to answer. So many questions.

He agreed to it nonetheless, though it felt like it was a bit to easy, but she let it slide. He knew he would have to tell them someday, so why not now when everyone was together?

They were going to meet up in two days at a new coffee shop that Alya had went to a few times. She made sure it was a perfect day. It was on a Friday, so a lot of places would be open. She made sure to watch the news: full sun, not to hot, not to cool. The perfect day.

Alya wondered about the things they will talk about. Sure she will spend most of the day nudging at Adrien and shipping Adrienette, but what things should she bring up?

She remembers that she had a box in her closet full of memories from high school. Maybe she can bring up some of the past, so they have something to laugh at.

She moved to her closet, and pulled on the nob, only getting no avail. It was stuck, so she kicked the door and plowed it open. She huffed, making a mental note saying "For god damn sakes, just clean your friggin hell hole of a closet!"

Alya went on her tippy toes, reaching for the metallic silver, shoe sized box, that sat on the top shelf, along with old t-shirts that didn't fit her.

Alya stumbled as she lifted the box into her grasp, and made her way to her bed, only by tripping from a sneaker that feel out of her closet. Before she could fall flat on her face, she gripped the foot board of her bed. Releasing a staggered breath, she carefully made her way onto the mattress.

She nestled the box of memories on the covers, unhooking the latch, she flung open the lid. It has been years since she had last looked inside that box. About three years, she was a freshman in collage. She was missing her friends, the people who she spent four years with. It didn't take long to make new friends in collage, since Alya was a social person, but it didn't feel the same.

It was the night before her first collage exam. She was so nervous that she would fail, thank the heavens that she remembered she stored a bundle of photographs from high school, stored in a pretty box that Marinette gave her as a goodbye present. She got it just for that reason; to store all the memories inside a memory of its own, she said.

That night, she looked at every picture intently, she smiled, laughed, and even began to cry at some parts. Mainly the grade ten photos. It was Alya's first year at that high school, it also was Adrien's. She wasn't so scared that day, she was to overwhelmed with excitement, that she barley noticed anything else. It didn't take long at all to make a friend either. She never would of thought that that same friend would be her best friend. Not to mention, she still is.

Now she skimmed her fingers on the neatly placed photos. She took out each photos, one by one. Grade ten to twelve. The best years of her life. She promised herself that she wouldn't cry this time, that all she would be doing was smile and laugh. And she did.

The pictures were of her whole class, or they would just be her, Nino, Adrien, and Mari. She even had a few Ladybug and Chat Noir photos. The duo would rather be in a live action pose as they were fighting an Akuma, or posing with a huge smile of their face's as Alya snapped the picture.

In fact, she just realized that every photo she had with them posing for her, they would always be together. None with just Ladybug. None with just Chat Noir. They were partners after all, even though she had always shipped them together.

She wondered back in those days if they did end up dating each other, but just hid it from the media. In fact, she wondered if they found out each other's identity's yet. They have been Paris's hero's for eight years. Which meant, eight years of countless akuma attacks.

It took about a good hour of looking through the photos. When she looked at the clock it was 10:13 pm, but she didn't care. She sat at her desk and turned on her laptop. She was about to do something she hasn't gone to since high school, before her life became crowded and to busy to tend to anything.

In the first time in years, she typed Ladyblog into her search bar. She sighed as she clicked on the link. There it was, bright as day. She had kept the blog up for so long, yet it still gets comments by fans. She scrolled through the conversations, some that were arguments and others were head cannons.

She kept scrolling down, waiting until she found her last post. There was a picture that went along with it, Ladybug and Chat Noir fighting an akuma. She written underneath the picture; Hello, my fellow miraculers! Sadly this will be my last post, for at least a very long time. I'll be going off to collage, and I'm afraid I won't have time to update any news. So, this will be my last report.

After Ladybug and Chat Noir had defeated the new akuma, I got to sneak in a quick question. "What advice do you have for the people of Paris?" They both took a moment of thought and Ladybug responded with, "When life throws rocks at you, dodge them, pick them up, then throw the rocks into a river. All they will do is drag you down."

Chat put an arm around Ladybug, then said, "Love is the most powerful thing in the world. Once you find that special person, treat them like they are royalty everyday. Put that person before you, and never do something that that special person does not like." Then he winked at a slightly blushing Ladybug and they both made their way.

It had to be the first non-stupid thing that Chat said for years. It was so cute how Ladybug was blushing! There has to be more to the duo then I thought.

For the last time, stay miraculous kitties!

Alya sighed, she missed following Ladybug and Chat around. Sure it was dangerous, but it was so exciting too! Every time she was in danger, one of them would save her. It was a thrilling rush, as she watched the two super heroes defeat the akuma. Every swing of Ladybug's yo-yo, every clatter Chat's baton makes when it hits the ground, every one of Chat's puns, she has it all on film.

Those were the good old days, when Alya didn't have to be told on what to scoop. It can sometimes be the most boring of things like, the taxes in Paris are going up 3%, or if she's lucky, an important event that was coming up.

She wanted to do what she used to do, follow Ladybug and Chat Noir around, to interview them like what Elise does. Sure she was still new to her job, only a low intern. But Alya was actually really good at it, she knew what to say and ask, she had experience. She was better then a lot of the other interns, in fact Alya deserved a promotion.

All in time. Alya told herself. All in time.

She sat at her desk, scrolling through her blog for an hour. She read every comment, every post, until she saw the time, 11:21. oops.

She turned off the laptop, deciding to look at the rest of the blog in the morning. She climbed into bed, her mind running through every Ladybug and Chat Noir post. In took a while for her to fall asleep, but after 30 minutes she was out. Oblivious to what was about to come on the third day.

Sorry that this chapter was a filler. I wanted to post a chapter really bad, but I have no idea how I'm going to pull it off. I hope you enjoyed it anyways, next chapter will be most likely when they all meet up. I have ideas on what I want to do in a future chapter, which I'am super excited about!
Like always, vote, comment and all that stuff! Bye bye!
