Bobby and Inv. Gordon knocked on the door of Marge and Harrison's home. Harrison opened the door, growling "what do you two want".

Inv. Gordon began " Mr. Jennings, we have a few questions to ask you and your wife regarding your daughter's assault"

"You asked me more than enough last night and my wife has nothing to say" he told them gruffly.

Marge stood behind him to the side. Bobby could see her, she appeared nervous.

"Sir, we would appreciate your cooperation in this matter" Bobby stated.

"I told you we have nothing to say. Now leave" Harrison told them as he stepped out onto the porch.

"Ma'am, if you know anything, please tell us now so we can help your daughter " Bobby said looking around Harrison.

Harrison yelled "shut the damn door, Marge". She immediately did as she was told. He turned back to the officers, " now I told you boys to leave. Do it, you have no need to be here. You're trespassing on my property" he bellowed as he stepped towards the officers.

Inv. Gordon looked at Bobby nodding towards the car. "Mr. Jennings, if you change your mind, here's my card, call me".

Harrison took the card, "don't hold your breath for that call " he stated as he ripped up the card, throwing it back at Gordon. Both officers returned to their car and left.

"That bastard is involved, I just know it. You see how his wife reacts, she knows something. Why wouldn't you want to put away the monster that assaulted your daughter" Bobby told Gordon as they headed back to speak with Tim and Caroline.

The campus gossip was running rampant with the news about Caroline being assaulted. Professors and students alike were confused and upset this happened to her, with one in paticular shocked to some extent.

'Damn it, Foust was supposed to be out of the picture. Who the hell screwed this up.' he thought walking into the classroom.

Bobby had texted Tim to let him know they were on their way to speak with Caroline.

Caroline had dosed off on the sofa, he hated to wake her but knew the sooner they could get this over with the better.

From the doorway of the kitchen he called her name "Caroline, sweetie..can you wake up..baby it's Tim...I need you to wake up now" he didn't want to startle her in fear of her reacting like earlier.

She began to move, trying to sit up "ok" she answered, her eyes still closed.

He stayed in the doorway until she became more awake. "I'm going to walk to you now, ok" he asked her. 

She gave him a strange look while he approached her "why are you telling me that" she asked.

He wasn't going to tell her how she tried to fight him earlier " I just didn't want you to jump, you know because of your eye and you were sleeping".
Caroline reached up, feeling the swelling of her eye, nodding that she understood.

Tim sat down next to her " Bobby and Inv. Gordon are stopping by soon. They want to talk a bit more with you"

Caroline looked at him worried, "do I have to? I thought we answered everything last night. I just want to forget this horrible day".

Tim slid his arm around her, leaning her towards him "I know darlin," he replied when there was a knock at the door. He invited the officers in,  introducing them each to Caroline again as she pulled her hair back from her face.

"How are you feeling today, Caroline" asked Gordon.

"Tired and sore " she replied honestly.

"This won't take long. We just wanted to bring you up to date on a few things and ask a couple of questions " Bobby advised them.

The officers sat across from Tim and Caroline as they began. "First, your father and Boden were arraigned this morning. Your father was charged with harassment against Tim, fined $1000 bail, which your mother posted for him and he was released. Boden was remanded to the county jail, no bail due to being a flight risk. He apparently has been involved with law enforcement in several other states but never stood trial for the charges. Usually made bail and released" Bobby informed them.

Caroline shook her head "of course not, probably no one believed his victims or he threatened them" she said in a disgusted tone.

Gordon furrowed his brow "could you please explain".

Caroline hung her head, this was not how it was supposed to be, she had every intention of no one ever finding out about that afternoon, especially Tim.

"Caroline, how did you know Boden was in town and at your parents" Gordon asked.

Tim slid his hand between hers "it's ok to tell them, he's not going to hurt you again" he whispered.

She looked at him, a tear escaped her eye, taking a deep breath she said "I saw that the CD from the security camera was on the table. I decided to look at it, you know to familiarize myself with this car that seemed to be following Tim. I didn't recognize it.  I then switched to the enhanced photo Todd made..that's...that's when I saw him...I just knew where he would be..I was pissed..I knew he didn't want Tim..he wanted me" she explained.

"You?...why you?...and may I ask why you didn't just call Officer Burroughs or Tim about what you discovered " Gordon asked.

"I ..I was so mad..I wasn't thinking..I wanted to take care of him...myself" she answered, her hands tightening around Tims..  after all these years,  it was my turn".
