Caroline prepared breakfast while Tim finished getting ready. He checked the laptop finding two more emails .. Beautiful sunset for a dead mans last view; Your next escort won't be in a cop car...He slammed down the lid as his phone rang, it was the landlord.

"Hey Jason, did you find anything on the cameras" he asked while stuffing the laptop into his backpack. "Tim, can you stop by and take a look yourself, there's something you should see" he told him. "Yeah, sure, I'll stop on my way to class" he replied, now even more concerned if he should leave Caroline alone or not.

"Hey sweetie" he greeted kissing her cheek before pouring a cup of coffee. She smiled as she placed his plate of pancakes and bacon on the table before fetching her own. He sat down, waiting for her while she grabbed a glass of juice. "Don't wait, eat it while it's warm, you have to leave soon" she said before finally sitting down. They made small talk while they ate. When finished Tim placed the dishes in the sink before asking what Caroline had planned for the day.

"Not much really. I'm thinking of working on a few paintings among other things for the internship. I have a few photographs I need to take as well, but I can just walk to the small park nearby for that" she replied.

Tim really didn't want her to go anywhere without him, she is still recouperating and he was concerned for her safety if she should experience any problems, especially alone. The more he thought about the emails the more evident it seemed someone was out for him and he didn't want her getting hurt if anyone came after him either. Not to cause her any concern he merely stated "sounds like a productive day planned. Just be careful, rest when you need to, ok. And please keep the door locked when you're here alone"

Caroline smiled "you worry way too much. I'm fine, everything will be fine".

"Please darlin, for me" he asked before holding her close. He kissed her lightly before saying "and be sure you take your phone if you do go to the park."

Caroline was grateful he cared as much as he did but she wanted her independence back, to get her life back. She simply replied she would do as he asked before stepping aside to get his thermos of coffee.

Tim grabbed the keys to her car and placed the thermos in his bag. He told her he would call when classes were over "I love you" they expressed in unison as he walked out the door.

Standing in the office with Jason, Tim watched the video several times. The vehicle was unfamiliar to him and he too could not make out the plate.

"Could you make a copy of this for me. Maybe the guys at the university computer lab can enhance it or something" he asked. Jason agreed and immediately burned a CD of the video.

"I hope this helps Tim, kind of odd whoever it is leaves when you do" he remarked. 

"Yeah, it does. Um..you mind keeping this on live view.  Caroline is home alone,  catching up on some work, just as a precaution. If you see this car or anything suspicious could you call me?"

"Sure no problem.  Hey where's you're truck, I see it wasn't there overnight" Jason asked.

"Blew a tire on the way home last night, it's in the garage. " he replied before heading out the door.

Once classes were over Tim headed over to the computer lab. His friend Todd was alone in the back corner working on putting curcuit boards into a desktop. Tim knocked on the open door..

"Oh hey Tim. Bringing in your laptop" he asked.

"Yeah, and I've got something else I'd like you to take a look at too, if you have time" Tim replied.

"Sure, I need a break from these curcuit boards. Let's see what you have" Todd told him taking both the laptop and CD.

After about a half hour, Todd was able to locate the IP address and time frame of the first emails. Those came from a cafe just off campus. He told him the actually identity of the person couldnt be determined yet because the IP address was from a public internet source. He would need to search further for that information.

"Can you do without your computer till tomorrow, I may have a better answer for you by then" Todd asked.
"Sure, not a problem" Tim answered.

"Ok, lets take a look at this video" he said sliding it in the CD tray. Bringing it up on screen Todd entered a few commands to enhance the vehicle and plate. He was also able to get a bit of an image of the driver. Tim wrote down the plate number so in case he was going to provide it to Bobby. "Do you recognize the vehicle or the person" Todd asked. "No, not at all" Tim answered. Todd removed the CD from the tray, handing it back to Tim.

"Man, this is kind of weird. How long this been going on" Todd asked.

"Just a week, I think" Tim replied putting the CD in his backpack.

"Be careful Tim. If I were you I'd show this to the police. I wouldn't take these threats lightly. Lots of crazed people out there" Todd advised him.

"Yeah, hey thanks man. Let me know if you find anything else" he said as he headed for the door.

Tim's phone rang as he opened the car door, it was the garage that had his truck.

"Hello, Mr. Foust, we have your truck ready to be picked up" the mechanic informed him. "Ok thanks. I'll be there soon to pick it up" he replied.

He would need someone to drive Caroline's car home, he was scrolling to her number when she called him.

"Hey darlin, what's up" he answered. She called to let him know she was heading out to take the photos she mentioned. "Would you mind taking me over to pick up the truck first. We can grab lunch, plus its very humid out today. That way you can take the car and not have to walk in the heat. I'll be home in about 15 minutes " he suggested. "Ok, that sounds fine. See you soon" she told him.
