While waiting for their baby to pop up on the screen Caroline's heart was beating fast.
Suddenly there it was.  It was so beautiful to them.

"Oh wow." Carolines breath was taken away.

"There it is!" James' voice went high.

Caroline chuckles and wipes her tears.

"Hm." The doctor takes a closer look at the screen.

"What?  What's wrong?" Caroline immediately panics.

"Mr. and Mrs. Shepard, you're having twins."

"What?" Even more tears filled Caroline's eyes.

"Twins?!" James smiles.

"Yes look!  There's baby A in one sac.. and baby B in another.  There's two!"

"Oh my gosh!" Caroline covers her mouth and cries hard.

"We're getting two babies, Caro!"

"I can't believe it!" She chuckles.

"I'm a twin but I never imagined having twins!  How cool is that?!"

"Are you really?  That's so great.. you two are going to make great parents.  Congratulations." He smiles.

"Thank you very much!"

"I'm so happy I've had the chance to meet you two.  If you all ever come back to Italy I'd love to meet these little twins one day."

"Absolutely!  Again, thank you for everything." James smiles and shakes his hand.

"Twins, Caroline.  TWINS!"

"I KNOW!"

"We have to think of a way to tell the family when we get back home!"

"James, we should wait."

"But babe, you heard him.  You're thirteen weeks and the twins are healthy!
The Twins!  Man that's cool to say!"

"I know honey, just please hear me out.. I want to wait.. I don't want to get... overly excited."

"Baby, it's good to be happy!  If you're happy then the babies are happy.  The BABIES!"

"Give me two weeks."

James sighs.
"Fine!"

"Thank you."

After a long plane ride to Minnesota, they were finally home.

"You have no idea how hard it's going to be Not telling my mom!  Well everyone!  It's gonna be so hard, baby!"

"You'll be okay." Caroline smiles.

"Well what are you gonna do about that?" James points to her belly.

"Is it obvious?  I wore my big blouse to hide it."  Caroline pulls on her top.

"What can I say?  My boys are big!"

"Boys?"

"Sorry, force of habit.  I'll be happy if it's two boys, two girls or one of each!"

"One of each would be cute, huh?"

"Yeah!  Little James and.. Jamie?"

"No!" Caroline laughs.

"Okay let's go in, little momma!"

"Alright, baby daddy."

When Jessica heard them at the door she ran over to greet them.

"Oh my goodness!  I've missed you both so much!!!  Look at you, Jamesy!  You ate, good, huh?" Jessica tickles his sides.

James laughs and Caroline says, "Yep!  We both ate so much over there and gained about twenty pounds each!"

"Well you two look amazing!  Come in and tell us all about it!"

Everyone greets them when they come in.

"You're back!  I thought you were never going to come home!" Grayson says.

"Awe Gray, we could never move away from You!"

"Cause I'm so sweet?"

"Yes!" Caroline laughs and hugs him tightly.

While catching up Grayson leans close to Jessica and whispers, "Uh mommy.. Caroline has gained some weight."

"Shh Quiet!" Jessica taps his leg.

"Caroline and I took some cooking classes in Italy so one day soon we'll have everyone over to try the recipes out !"

"Yummy!  We'll be there!" Jessica smiles.

"Great!  Just give us a few weeks to relax." James chuckles.

"It's so amazing you two did all of these things!  What was your favorite?"

"Well we did some awesome stuff in Italy but.. I think Ireland has our heart, huh baby?" James turns to Caroline and places his hand on her leg.

"Definitely!" She smiles softly.

After the kids left and everyone was in bed Jessica asked Danny for a back massage.

"They look happy, don't they?" Danny asks.

"They do!  Something's up.. I don't know what, but there's something."

"What do you mean?"

"I said I don't know!  But I know something is going on."

"You always think something's going on."

Jessica turns and gives him a look.

"I wuv you!" Danny smiles.

Jessica laughs and kisses his lips.

"Ooh!  I wasn't expecting this!"

"Stop talking." Jessica says climbing on top of him.

James and Caroline's POV.
15 weeks pregnant.

James was sitting on the bed watching Caroline walk back and forth getting ready for work.
"Honey, these little babies are growing so much!" James stops her and pulls her closer to him before kissing her belly.

"I know, it's crazy how fast it's popping out!"

"I know.  They're saying, Mommy!  Daddy!  Tell someone about us!" He says in a high pitched voice.

"Alright James, stop it." She pushes him away and continues getting ready.

"What did I do?!"

"Don't start that.  I said to give me more time."

"You said two weeks and it's been Two Weeks!  Announcing our babies is not going to make a difference, honey!"

"I said to stop it!  I'm the one carrying these babies, I'm the one that carried Lucas!  I'M the one that felt my lifeless baby leave my body!  If I'm being crazy then I'm sorry but I have a good reason to be!"

"Alright.. Sorry.
I have to go, I'll see you later." James stands up and walks out of the room.

Caroline takes a deep breath then closes her eyes and tries calming herself down.
She was so afraid of jinxing the pregnancy.  She doesn't care if she sounds crazy or not.  She felt better keeping the news to themselves for now.
James on the other hand wanted to tell everyone they knew.  Not just because he's so happy to be having twins, but because then it's more than just he and Caroline praying for these babies to stay safe inside their mother until it was time to be brought into the world.  Each one had a good reason to feel the way they do, but them not agreeing was bound to cause some tension.
