March 25th.
27 weeks pregnant.

Today Danny, Jessica and the kids are going to Lyla and Liam's birthday party.  It's being held at the park, so Jessica is currently looking for something comfortable to wear.
She took out a maxi dress and looked in the mirror.  Her belly was sticking straight out.

"Oh gosh, I'm huge!" She laughs.

"Little boy, you are just growing so fast!" Jessica smiles as she pats her belly.  The baby kicks her hand in response.

"You hear mama, don't you?  My little cutie!"

Jessica then returned to her closet to grab some strapy sandals.
She also finished up by applying some light makeup and clipped half of her hair up.

"Mommy, we're ready!" Nova runs in and shouts.

"So am I, pretty girl.  Let's get going!"

Jessica sat down watching the kids as they played different party games.  She smiled seeing the joy in their faces.
Soon Caroline's mother and sister came over and sat beside her.

"Hey Jess!"

"Hi!  Oh the baby!  Caroline told me you had her, let me see!" Jessica says to Caroline's sister.

"This is Ruby!" She smiles.

"Oh she's precious!"

"Thank you!"

"And You!  You're gonna have another little one soon!" Susan places her hand on her belly.

"Heh!  Yeah.. kind of a shock, but we're happy!" Jessica smiles.

"That's great!  Caro filled me in.  Is he doing well?"

"Yeah!  No, he's fine!  It's just after birth is where the scariness starts."

"He's in our prayers, hun."

"Thank you." Jessica smiles softly.

"Babe, Do you want some cake?" Danny asks.

"Did you really have to ask?" Jessica laughs.

"Heh, silly me!  I'll be back."

"Thanks, babe."

Nova runs over to Jessica with her cake.
"Can I sit with you, mommy?"

"Of course, bug!"

"Mommy, can you believe the twins are four!"

"I can't!  It's crazy!"

"Can you believe me and Sammy are gonna be SIX?"

"That's so crazy!  You're my little baby!"

"Yeah, I'm the princess!"

"Yes you are!" Jessica smiles.

...

"I have cake and I found a baby!" Danny says walking over with Ruby in his arms.

"Heh!  She's a cutie, isn't she?" Jessica smiles.

"She is!  Jess, I can't wait for our baby!  OUR baby!  We're having another baby soon!"

"I know, I'm so excited to meet him!  We need to start decorating his nursery, AND he needs a name!" She says placing her hand on her belly to feel her baby boy's constant movements.

"He does need a name." Danny chuckles.

Nova looks at Danny and sets her cake down.
She stands up and walks over to her father, "Put her down, daddy!  I'm your baby!" Nova pouts.

"Honey, I'm just holding her, I still love you!  You're still my girl." He smiles.

Nova frowns and climbs onto his lap.

"Someone's jealous!" Jessica says.

Nova lays her head on him and hugs him tightly.
Danny chuckles and looks at Jessica.

"Are you gonna be like this when your brother comes?" He asks.

"No!" She whines.

"Cause he's a boy and he won't try to be the princess!" She says speaking in a baby voice.

"Heh! Good thing we're having a boy, I don't think she'd be very nice to her little sister." Danny chuckles.

"Nope!  She doesn't want to share her daddy." Jessica chuckles.

"He's my daddy!" She squeezes him even tighter.

"Well I'm gonna be the baby's daddy too!"

"You're my daddy too." Jessica mumbled.

"Stop." Danny laughs.

"The baby is okay, this baby needs to go."

"Shh!" Jessica lightly taps her leg.

"Oh gosh, I love you, Nova Bella." Danny chuckles.

"I love you too, daddy!!" She looks up and smiles at him.

"Danny, I'm finished with my cake, hand over that baby!"

"No! She needs to go awayyyy!" Nova whines.

"Hey stop it! Why are you being this way?" Jessica asks.

"I want my mommy and daddy to only talk to ME!"

"Oh my goodness! I really have a feeling she's not as ready for a new sibling as she thinks she is."

"No.. this should be interesting." Danny chuckles.

After the party both kids were completely worn out.
Nova fell asleep on the way home, so Danny carried her in.

"She's gonna need to wake us and take a bath soon, she smells like a little puppy dog!" Jessica says caressing her cheek as she sat beside her on the couch.

"I know, she's smelly." Danny scrunches his nose.

"Yeah.. Hey Gray, is all your homework finished?" Jessica asks.

"No ma'am, I'm gonna do it now."

"Okay, baby.  Come give me kiss." Jessica smiles then puckers her lips.

Grayson walks over, kisses her cheek, then pecks her belly. "I hope you had a fun day too, little brother." He says placing his hand on her belly.

"He did!  He got the eat a hamburger, a hot dog, AND cake!" Jessica smiles.

Grayson laughs then says, "We need to name him."

"Daddy and I were talking about that today.  Do you have any in mind?"

"Well when I was at uncle George's house, he let me play on his computer, and I searched through a few names."

"Oh you did?" Jessica chuckles.

"Mhm!  There's Owen which means Young Warrior."

"Aw!"

"That would be cool because that's what he is!" Grayson smiles.

"Yeah.." Jessica says trying to hold her tears back.

"There were a few more I liked too!  Like Zane, Nathaniel, John, Camden."

"Ooh!  Zane is cool!"

Just then Nova starts to wake up.
"What's.. what's goin on, guys?" She slowly sits up and scratches her eyes.

"Well hello, sleepy head!" Jessica smiles and messes with her messy curls.

"What are we doing, guys?"

"Talking about baby names." Danny says.

"Oh!  I wanna name him!  I wanna name him!"

"What do you wanna name him, baby?"

"Well I had a dream that me and my sissy were playing-"

"You did?" Jessica was shocked.  Nova never mentioned this before.

"Yeah!  There was a cute little boy there and she told me his name was going to be Zane!"

"That's one of the names I suggested!" Grayson said.

"Maybe you heard Gray say it and dreamt that."

"No mommy!  It was a couple nights ago!  I was in my room all by myself!"

"Really?  Well since you both suggested it, Zane will for sure be in his name!" Jessica chuckles.

"YES!" Nova and Grayson both say in unison.

"What about Jonas for his first name?" Danny asks. "It means Gift from God."

"Oh my gosh and that's what he is!!" Nova says with excitement.  Her eyes went wide and her jaw dropped.  Nova was in love with the name already.

"Ooh I love that!  Jonas Zane Huston.  Sounds like a little man!" Jessica's voice goes high.

"Let's see if he likes it." Jessica looks down at her belly and places her hand on the side of it.

"Do you like the name Jonas, baby boy?"

The baby responds with rough kicks on the side of her stomach.

"Well I think he likes it!" She laughs.

"What about Zane?" Nova asks moving over to lay her cheek on her mother's belly.

Nova then cracks up laughing as the baby punches the side of her face.

"He kicked me!  I think he likes it, mommy!  We named the baby!  Me and Grayson helped name the baby!"

"Aw!  I love it, you guys!  Thank you all for picking such nice names."

"It's the least we can do." Danny smiles.

"Thank You for making the baby!" He laughs.

"Hah!  No problem, mister."

Jonas was perfect because I'm still and always will be a Jonas brother fan!  Also, once I started writing I remembered my cousin's son who is now like 13 or 14, was born needing heart surgery.  His name is Jonas, so it was perfect!
