Danny and Zachary's POV.

"Dad, I'm exhausted and you're wide awake, aren't you tired?"

"I'm excited! Zach, I don't think I'll be able to sleep at all tonight. I love her so much and just thinking that tomorrow night we'll all be sleeping in our new home makes me so happy. Tomorrow I'll hold her in my arms in our own bed.. Zachary, if you can't tell, I am a fool for this beautiful woman."

"I've noticed." Zachary chuckles.

"I'm glad you finally met the someone you love. I really like Jessie.. She's cool."

"And she's gorgeous! She's smart, funny.. And sexy as--"

"Alright dad!"

The next morning Danny drove the U-haul to Jessica's to pick up the final things from the house.

"Hey baby!" Jessica smiles and hugs Danny.

"Good morning, gorgeous!  Are you excited for today?!"

"I am!"

Danny smiles and kisses her lips.

"Hey mama!" They hear Grayson.

Jessica pulls away from Danny and looks down to Grayson.

"What baby?"

Grayson puckers his lips and Jessica laughs and picks him up.

"Muah!" She kisses him.

"Are you ready for your new house, bud?" Danny asks.

"Yeah!"

"Yeah!  It's gonna be so much fun!" Jessica says in a cute voice.

"Alright, everything's packed up. You ready to go, baby?" Danny asks placing his hand on her back.

"Yeah..

Uh.. Could you just give us a second, baby?"

"Of course. Take your time." He kisses her forehead.

"Come on, Zach, let's go start the car."

Jessica gives him a small smile and watches them leave.

The door shuts and Jessica lets out a deep breath.

Her and the boys stay in silence for a while, just taking it all in.

James had taken pictures of the whole house just before then so that they'd have that memory forever.

"It looks so weird empty." Samuel says.

"I know.. It looks like the day we first moved in.." Jessica says.

"Last family selfie in the Shepard house!" Michael says holding his phone up.

They all pose together and smile big.

"Got it!"

"Yay!!" Grayson claps.

"Yay.." Jessica softly chuckles.

"This was your first home, Gray.. Well except my tummy, which was you and all your brother's first home!" Jessica giggles and looks at the boys.

They chuckle and Jessica smiles softly.

She tried her hardest not to cry, but it was becoming harder and harder not to.

"It's crazy.. This is it."

"Yeah.." Sam says in a low voice.

"Goodbye house." Jessica smiles softly and tears fill her eyes.

"Thanks for the memories." She says as they take one last look at their home.

"Bye bye!" Grayson smiles and waves.

Jessica chuckles and wipes her eyes.

"Let's go home.." She looks at her boys.

George takes Grayson and Jessica rides with Danny.

"You okay, baby?"

"Yeah.. Yeah, I'm okay." She turns to him and gives him a small smile.

"I'm happy about our future together, Daniel."

"Me too.  I love you, baby girl." He holds her hand.

"I love you too."

When they get to the house, George brings a screaming Grayson to Jessica.

"Here.  He screamed and cried for you all the way here."

"Awe Grayson!  Why are you so upset, baby?"

"Mama!" He lays on her.

"Silly boy." Jessica pats his butt.

Danny unlocks the door and smiles at Jessica.

"Here we are.. The Huston and Shepard's are home!"  Danny kisses her lips.

Grayson laughs and slaps their faces.

"Hey you booger!" Danny tickles him.

"Ah!  No!  My mama!" Grayson pouts, clings onto Jessica and lays on her chest.

"I'm not taking you from mama!"

"Grayson, what's up with you today?" Jessica chuckles.

Later that day.

"George, thank you so much for all of your help.  You're such a good brother." Jessica hugs him and lays on his chest.

"Awe no problem.  I'm always here for you."

"Thanks again, George.  We appreciate you." Danny shakes his hand.

"Don't mention it.  Just take care of my sister.. She deserves nothing but the best."

"Will do.  I love her, George."

George smiles and Danny asks, "Why don't you stay for dinner?"

"No, you guys enjoy this night as a family... You all will be holding the next after mass lunch on Sunday anyway!"

"Haha!  You got it!" Jessica chuckles.

George leaves and Danny hugs Jessica.

"I love you."

"I love you too, gorgeous."

"What's for dinner?" Zachary walks in.

"Will you hang on just a second?"

Jessica laughs and walks to the kitchen.

"No he's right.  I'm starving!"

"Don't step in that kitchen!  I'm going to pamper you tonight, Ms. Shepard."

"Oh?" She smirks.

"Mhm!" Danny gives her a look.

"Gross!" James shouts.

"Oh stop it!" Jessica chuckles.

"Thank you for the amazing first meal in our new home, baby." Jessica smiles as she takes her dishes to the sink.

"You're welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed it."

She smiles and turns the sink on.

"No mom, drop it. We've got it!"

"Oh thank you!"

After dinner everyone was exhausted.

The boys went to their rooms and Jessica gave Grayson a bath.

Danny sat in there with her while she bathed him to keep her company.

"Ma booty!" Grayson giggles and shakes his naked butt in her face.

"Stop it you silly boy!" Jessica laughs and taps his butt.

"Danny, mama hit!" He pouts and points to Jessica.

"Awe such a mean mama!"

"Stop it!" Jessica laughs and splashes Danny.

That made Grayson crack up laughing.

He starts splashing water outside of the tub surprising Jessica.

"Ah!  Grayson!" She laughs.

Once he's out of the bath, Jessica changes him into his pajamas.

Danny followed Jessica like a puppy.

"Mama dats my dada!" Grayson points to Sam's picture.

"Good boy!  You are such a smart baby!"

"Yeah!  Mama, I lub ma dada!"

"I know you do!"

"You lub dada?" He asks cutely.

"I love your daddy with all my heart!"

Grayson's eyes widen and he makes an "O" shape with his mouth, making Jessica laugh.

"Time for bed."

"No!  Mama!" He starts grabbing onto her.

"No, Grayson is gonna sleep in his own bed!" She smiles.

"No!" Grayson nods.

"Oh yes he is!"

"Mama NOOO!" He sobs.

"What is up with you?!" Jessica laughs.

"Jess, why don't you put him to bed and I'll wait for you in the our bedroom?" Danny asks touching her shoulder.

"Ooh?" Jessica smirks.

"Mhm.."

"Okay!" She giggles.

Jessica puts Grayson to bed, then hurries to hers and Danny's bedroom.

"I'm back!  Oop!  And you're naked!" She laughs.

"I figured I'd get a head start."

Jessica laughs, then runs and jumps on him.

A few days later.

Jessica and Danny have loved everything about being together in their new house.

Today was Michael's sixteenth birthday, and Jessica was feeling  very emotional.

"Oh my boy... Happy Birthday.." She looks at him with tears.

"Thanks." He chuckles.

"I'm sorry.. It's just.. You're sixteen, Mikey!  My baby boy is sixteen!"

"Yeah, can I have a car?  Oh wait, I can't drive!"

"Watch it!" Jessica points her finger at him.

"Yeah, it's not mom's fault that you suck at driving." Samuel says.

"I can teach him." Danny says.

"Could you, please coach?!"

"Sure!  I did the impossible.  I taught Zach."

"Hey I wasn't that bad!"

"Not that bad?  You hit three parked cars!"

Zachary looks down and Jessica laughs.

"Are you serious?"

"It wasn't my fault."

"Oh really?"

"Yes!"

"There wasn't anyone in the other car!" Danny raises his voice, making everyone laugh.

"Anyway, Michael, I'll take you and you'll be driving in no time!"

"Not my baby!" Jessica cries and hugs him.

"It's okay, mom." Michael rubs her arm.

Danny took Michael, and the twins went to pick up the cake. Zachary stayed at home, with Grayson and Jessica.

"Jessie, there's a party on the twenty fifth, can Mike and I go?"

"Where is it?  ..Hey and what's today's date?" Jessica's face becomes serious.

"It's Michael's birthday." He looks at her like she's crazy.

"Oh right!" Jessica laughs.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing I just.. I-I.. Can you watch Grayson for a second?" She says in a bit of a panic.

Zachary looks at Grayson in his playpen, then looks back at Jessica.

"Sure."

Jessica runs upstairs and grabs her phone.

"Oh God, oh God, oh God.. When did I get it?"

It wasn't on her phone tracker, so she went through every calendar and planner she could find.

"What is this? What does this say? ... Fuck! June?! Dammit! Dammit! What do I do?"

Jessica heard the front door and ran down.

"What's up, mom? Someone chasing you?" Samuel asks.

"No! No, sorry.. I-Is Danny here?"

"No he's still with Michael... Remember?"

"Yeah.. Yeah, I remember."

"Okay.."

Jessica walks upstairs and sits on the bed.

"Please, Please just let this be stress!" She crouches over with her hands on her legs.

She hears the door again and runs downstair.

"Hey! How'd it go?"

"... Yeah, he's pretty bad." Danny sighs.

Jessica laughs and Michael gives her a look.

"It's okay, baby! You'll learn.. This was only the second time you've driven. It'll be fine." She smiles.

"Now you boys get dressed for dinner. Daniel, can I see you in the bedroom, please?"

"BARF!" Sam shouts.

"Stop it! I need to talk to him!"

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah honey, I just need to talk to you."

"Okay."

They go upstairs and Danny shuts the door.

Jessica turns to him and grabs her hair.

"Danny, I'm late!"

"For what?" He asks looking at his watch.

"No Danny!" She grabs his wrist and he looks into her eyes still clueless.

"I'm Late!"

"Late? *Gasp* Oh! LAAATE!" His eyes widen.

"Well this is great!" He smiles big and touches her stomach.

"No it's not!" She pushes his hands away and walks off.

"Why babe?"

"Because together we have five kids! Daniel, this can't happen."

"But if it did Jess, I don't think it would be so bad. We'd have a little baby of our own." He smiles.

"Danny.. No, I can't." She nods.

"Okay, well you don't even know if you are yet, babe. Just calm down."

"How do you expect me to calm down?!"

"Well Jessica, if you are pregnant, then calm down for the sake of your child!" Danny raises his voice.

"Oh my gosh, shut up! This is your fault! We had sex and you came inside me, remember?!"

"I'm sorry!" He rolls his eyes.

"Daniel, you're really pissing me off!"

"Oh my gosh, I'm not even doing anything!"

"Just get out and leave me alone for a while."

"Jess-"

"Get Out!"

Danny scoffs and walks out.

Jessica starts crying and covers her face.

"I cannot be pregnant! I have four kids and he has one.. I'm perfectly happy with that."

Jessica got dressed and felt like she had gained twenty pounds.

Just the thought of a possible pregnancy made her mind start going.

"Oh my gosh.. I look huge!" Her eyes widen on her stomach.

Danny walks in and tries to blow over the whole thing.

"You look beautiful" He smiles.

Jessica just gives him a look.

"Well you do! and cut that attitude out. It's your son's birthday, you need to be happy."

"I'm just freaking out, I'm sorry.."

"It's okay. I'll tell you what, I'll stop by the store on the way home and I'll go in by myself to pick up a pregnancy test."

"Thank you." She says quietly with a pout.

"No problem... Can I have a hug now?"

"Yes." She smiles.

"Thank you! Jesus, you were so mean to me when I didn't even do anything!"

Jessica looks up at him and he says, "Okay, I might have done something, but you were on top! I had just had a knee replacement that was not my fault!"

Jessica laughs and lays her head on him.

"Jessie, just relax.. It'll be okay. No matter what, I'm here for you."

"I know.." She mumbles.

"Jess, if you are and we have a little baby on the way, I'll the happiest man in the world.. I already am, but I'll just top myself!"

She chuckles and holds him tighter.

"You're a good man, Daniel Huston."

"Yes I am!"

"Stop it!" She laughs and hits his chest.

Dinner.

Jessica relaxes once they get there, and they all start having a good time together.

"Ooh Samuel, what did you order?  It's making me sick to my stomach!" Jessica makes a face and holds her stomach.

Danny looks at her and Jessica rolls her eyes.

When dessert came, Danny thought him and Jessica would share the chocolate lava cake.

"Get your own, buddy!" Jessica laughs.

"We even have cake at home ma, what's up with you?" James chuckles.

"I don't know, I'm probably getting my period."

"That would explain the puffiness." Sam says.

"Hey!" Jessica frowns.

"Awe!  You're not puffy baby." Danny baby talks and kisses her cheek.

"Thank you, baby!" She smiles and wraps her arms around him.

On the way home it was just Danny, Jessica and Grayson in the car.

"Danny, I'm scared."

"Why baby?"

"I was done having babies.."

"Well we don't even know for sure yet.  Have you even had any symptoms? 

Do you usually have morning sickness with your pregnancies?"

"Yes!  With every one I've been horribly sick!  That's good I guess, right?"

"Yeah.. Yeah.  Unless it's a girl!" He smiles.

"Daniel!"

"I'm sorry, I only said that because you've never had a girl, so you have no idea what it's like to carry one."

"Alright, let's just shut up." She gives him a look.

"Danny, get the good kind, okay?  The most expensive one they have!  I want to know for sure."

"Okay."

Danny went in and bought the test quickly so they could get home.

When they got to the house, Jessica took Grayson upstairs.

"We'll be down in a second, we're gonna change." Danny tells the boys.

Danny walked in and Jessica was sitting on her bed with her face buried in her hands.

"Hey."

"Hey.." Jessica looks up.

"You gonna take it?"

"No, I think I'll just wait for the kid to pop out and surprise me!" Jessica says sarcastically.

Danny the ignores her comment and Jessica sighs.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay. 

Take your time."

Jessica throws herself back on the bed and sighs.

Grayson thinks it's playtime and crawls on top of her.

"What are you doing, silly boy?" She  giggles.

Grayson spreads his body across hers and lays on her chest.

"My baby boy loves his mama.." Jessica says softly rubbing his back.

Danny sits beside her and yawns.

"You sleepy, baby?" She chuckles.

He nods his head and Grayson turns to Danny.

"Hi!" He waves.

"Hi bud!"

"Owe!" Jessica says as Grayson climbs off of her and  over to Danny.

"You're like a little monkey, aren't you?" He chuckles as Grayson hangs onto him.

"My Danny.." Grayson says laying on his shoulder and patting his back.

Jessica smiles at them, then sighs.

"I better do this.."

"Alright.."

Danny sits on the bed with Grayson and Jessica goes to the bathroom.

Once Jessica is finished, she sits the test down and sits on the toilet lid.

She buries her head in her hands and just thinks.

What if I am pregnant?

... Would it be so bad?  I have Danny here to help me and.. He's such a great father..

He's great with Grayson, and.. He was so happy at the thought of me being pregnant.

I mean I guess it'd be okay... I love him so much and... Danny and I would have a little baby together.. Hmh!  That'd be cute.

She looked up and a small smile appeared on her face.

She breathes deeply and goes to the bedroom.

"It should be ready, you wanna come in here with me?"

"Yeah!" Danny jumps up and sits Grayson on the ground.

Jessica places her palms on the sink and takes a deep breath while Danny stands right behind her.

"Danny!" She quickly turns to face him.

"It'll be okay." He smiles and holds her arms.

"I'm here for you."

Jessica nods and Danny kisses her forehead.

She turns around and picks the test up.

With a sigh of relief she smiles, "Ah!  I'm not pregnant!"

"You're not?"

"No!" She shows him the test.

Danny takes it and looks at it closely.

Jessica hugs him and bounces up and down.

"I feel better now."

"Yeah.. Me too.." Danny says lowering the hand with the test, and holding her tighter.

"Me too.." He mumbles into her neck.
