Once it started getting late and everyone got a chance to see the baby, they all stared to head home.

"Get some rest, honey. You too, son." Jessica says as Danny rubs her aching back.

"Yeah cause this is only the beginning." Danny chuckles.

It was just Jessica, Grayson and Danny in the house. It felt weird to have just the three of them home.

"Mommy, it's too quiet in here!"

"It is, isn't it?" Jessica laughs.

"Yeah! I don't like it!"

"Me either, it's weird."

"Can you and daddy read me a story?"

"Of course we can!"

After a couple stories Grayson was asleep.
Jessica laid beside him and just watched him sleep peacefully.

"I love this little boy so much.. He's such a good boy."

"Yes he is." Danny smiles.

In his sleep Grayson turns to his side and holds Jessica's belly and places his forehead on it.

"Awe look at him!" Danny says.

"What a sweetheart!"

Danny quickly takes his picture and kisses Grayson's cheek.

"I can't wait to meet our precious girl, babe."

"Me either! Who do you think she'll look like?"

"I hope she looks like you!" Danny says.

"It'd be nice to have one of my kids look somewhat like me." Jessica chuckles.

"Well Sam's hair is blonde! And James has some of your features. Michael has your eyes! He has your smile too... They all have Sam's height, or so I've heard.. Maybe this one will be a little shorty like you!"

"Hey, I'm really not that short!  I just have giant spawns!" Jessica laughs.

"That's true!  I hope she has your gorgeous looks, but  even more so your beautiful sweet sweet heart."

"Awe.. Thanks." She smiles softly.

*Yawns* "I need to get to bed. I'm exhausted."

"Yeah, you and little love bug need to get some sleep.  It's been a loooong day!"

"But I feel bad that he's cuddling with his baby sister!" Jessica pouts and looks down to Grayson.

"You gonna sleep with him?" Danny chuckles.

"No, I need my pillow.. Poor baby!  Here Gray, hold your stuffed animal."

Jessica moves and hands him his stuffed bear, and Grayson cuddles it tightly.

"There!  It's just like mommy!" She giggles and softly brushes his hair before placing a kiss on his cheek.

Jessica lays on her side in bed and cradles her pillow the same way Grayson cradled his bear.
Danny laid behind her and planted soft kisses on her shoulder.  He rested his hand on her waist and they both fell right to sleep.

Two days later.

Today was the day that the baby was coming home, and everyone was so excited.

"My little man is coming home today!!"

"You're such a sweet grandma!" Danny smiles.

Jessica giggles and walks to the kitchen.

"I'm gonna make everyone a huge lunch, because once they get back from the hospital they're going to have lots of visitors!"

"Oh honey, we can handle that, or we can order in."

"Order in!  For My grandson?!  No, I'm going to cook."

"You are eleven days away from your due date, little miss!  You should be resting."

"Danny.  I haven't rested since I fourteen years old."

"Jessica Lange." He chuckles.

"I've got it, Daniel Huston." Jessica gives him attitude.

"Alright... But when your feet are swollen like little piggies, don't come whining to me, Danny, rub my feet!  Danny rub my feet!" Danny mocks her voice.

"I'm NOT gonna ask you!"

"You know I'm just playing with you!  I like it when my baby girl gets a little mad at me." Danny smiles and wraps his arms around her.

"Get off of me."

"What?  What!" He squeezes her tighter and sharply turns to her.

"Get off of me!" Jessica laughs.

"Never!" His grip tightens even more as he rests his chin on her shoulder.

"Daniel.. I'll pee on you." She turns her head to the side and gives him a side eyed glare.

"Wouldn't be the first time."

"Daniel!  I told you that wasn't pee!
... I just.. Dribbled." Jessica lowers her head.

"Heh!  Okay!"

"Why are you picking on me today?" Jessica pouts.

"I just like doing it cause then you make that cute little face you're making right now."

Danny flicks his finger on her lips and Jessica rolls her eyes.

"Jessicaaaa." Danny sings.

"What?"

"I love you." He smiles.

"I love you too, now get out!"

"Get out?  I'm helping you!"

"I don't want you to, you're irritating me."

"That's just the hormones talking." He nods and walks further into the kitchen.

"Well my hormones want you to get out!"

Danny laughs and walks back to kiss her lips.

"Hey!  Why didn't you kiss me back?"

"I don't feel like it." Jessica mopes.

"Aw you don't feel like it?  You don't feel like it?  Well how do you feel about this?" Danny picks her up and sits her on the counter.

"Danny!" Jessica's voice goes high.

"WOAH!!" Jessica and Danny hear Grayson's voice so the look over to the side.

"You're strong!! You picked up momma all by yourself! *Claps* Good job, daddy. *Continues clapping* Good job." Grayson nods.

"That little turd!" Jessica says.

"Well I am strong! Thanks, bud!" Danny laughs.

Jessica looks at him and hits his arm hard.

"Owe! What was the for!"

"For being an idiot!"

"Mommy, that is not nice!" Grayson raises his voice and points his finger at his mother.

"I'm sorry!" Jessica smiles sweetly.

"The baby's coming home! The baby's coming home!" Grayson was so hyper, he loudly shouted that while running through the entire house.

"You're so excited!" Jessica laughs.

"Yes I am! The baby's coming home, then daddy can drive you to the hospital so you can have OUR baby! My baby sister!"

"Heh! I think your baby sister is staying put for a little while longer, bud."

"No, I want her out now."

"I'll see what I can do." Jessica chuckles.

When arriving home, Sam lifted the carrier above his head and sings, "AAAAHHH ZABENYA BABA SITHI UHHMM INGONYAMA!!"

"Put my baby down." Tiffany tells him.

Jessica laughs and says, "Your father did that with you too, Samuel! I was holding little Jamesy, he was just so comfortable in my arms, and your dad thought you were baby Simba."

Sam laughs and sits the carrier on the couch.
He unbuckles him and picks him up.

"He's up!" Sam smiles and kisses his cheek.

"Awe look at him!" Jessica voice goes high.

"You guys eat and relax, give grandma her little man!"

Sam hands him over and Tiffany says, "You guys didn't have to cook for us!"

"Jessie insisted!" Danny says.

"Jessica! You should be resting before that baby comes!"

"Honey, I'm fine! I might as well do it now that I still have a little energy left."

"Well thank you. That's really sweet." Tiffany says walking over to give her a hug.

Throughout the day family came in and out to visit the new baby.

Grayson loved sitting next to whoever held him, and would tell everyone to be careful with his nephew.

That night Sam slept in Tiffany's room so he could help with the baby.
Baby Samuel really worked them, he got up every two hours to be fed, and when he was hungry he wanted it right then and there.

It was now four in the morning and Jessica was up to use the restroom. Danny was up because Jessica has such a hard time getting out of bed, it woke him.

"Has that baby even slept?" Danny yawns.

"I don't know.. I wanna go check on them." Jessica says putting her robe on.

"Maybe let them try and figure this out on their own. Remember you said you didn't want to be too clingy. You wanted to let them learn."

"Danny, he's my baby! I know what I said, but Samuel needs some rest, if not he's gonna be so cranky in the morning."

Danny chuckles.

"I'm just gonna see if they need help! I'll be right back."

Jessica walks to the room and lightly knocks on the door.

"Come in." Tiffany says sounding exhausted.

"Hey.. I just wanted to see if you two were okay."

"I'm not! Jessica, I don't know what to do! He doesn't want to eat, we changed his diaper, I don't know what else to do!" Tiffany cries.

"Let me take him." Jessica walks over and takes the baby.

She holds him close and gently bounces him as she walks back and forth.

"Shh, shh, shh.. You're okay.. Grandma's got you, silly boy! Shhshh... Yeah, see? I told you you were fine!" Jessica giggles as the baby calms down.

"How did you do that?" Sam asks.

"Heh! You have to hold them close so they feel safe and warm, and some babies don't like it when you rock them sitting down. They like the feeling of your walking... Plus resting on the big comfy belly helps." Jessica chuckles.

"Oh my gosh, thank you! Thank you so much!" Tiffany says.

"No problem, sweetie."

"I.. I'm just gonna rest for a second, okay? I-I have to rest."

"Go ahead! I'll just put him down once he falls into a deeper sleep."

"Thank you, mom! I love you so much!"

*Giggles* "I love you more! It's problem, Samuel." She smiles.

When the baby was asleep Jessica placed a soft kiss on his forehead and put him down in his bassinet.

While walking down the hall she heard a little voice.

"Hey mommy! You're up too?!"

"Grayson! Why are you up, sweet boy?"

"Cause the baby's so loud!"

Awe baby, I'm sorry. You try to get back to bed, okay?"

"Can I sleep with you?"

"Sure."

"Yay!" Grayson grabs his blanket and stuffed animal, and takes off to his parents bedroom.

"We have a guest tonight." Jessica smiles.

"Daddy, pick me up!" He jumps.

Danny reaches down and sits him beside him.
"What's wrong, did you have a bad dream?"

"No, the baby is just too loud!"

"It's gonna get a lot crazier in a couple weeks, Gray." Jessica waddles to her side of the bed.

"Why do babies cry so much?" Grayson asks his mother.

"Because they're used to being warm and cozy in their mommy's tummies, so when they get here, they're a little scared.  You cried too, little guy." Jessica messes with his hair.

"No I didn't." He nods.

"Yes you did!"

"No!" He laughs.

"You did!  For example, you threw a fit the first time I took you to the grocery store!"

"I don't like the store!" Grayson lowers his brows.

"And you never have! *Laughs* Now let's lay down and get to sleep, mister." Jessica smiles and pokes his nose.

"Hey!  That's my nose!"

"Nuh-uh, it's mine!"

"No it's not, you silly girl!"

Jessica laughs and says, "You're mine and that includes your nose!"

"No it doesn't!" He nods and smiles adorably, as he still holds onto his nose.

"Anything that comes out of my tummy is MINE!"

"You mean, vagina."

Jessica covers his mouth and looks at Danny who was laughing.

"Don't laugh, he'll keep saying it!"

"It is funny, Jess! You have to admit that."

Jessica nods her head and looks down at him big eyes staring up to her.

"Stop saying that. We don't discus private parts."

Grayson moves her hand away from his mouth and says, "That's where I came out. I know it's yucky, mommy, but I did!"

"Oh believe me, I know! But the point was, you were in MY TUMMY!"

"And I came out of YOUR VAGINA!"

"I understand that! *Laughs* My goodness, Grayson George!"

"Am I too much, mommy?" He smirks.

"Yes, you are too much!" She pulls him close to her and kisses his head.

The next morning Danny went down and made a huge breakfast. It was Mother's Day today, and it was extra special because it was Tiffany's first Mother's Day, and Jessica's last one before Nova arrives.

Danny knocked on Sam and Tiffany's door and waiting for someone to answer it.

After a while he gave up and called Sam's cell phone.

"Hello?" Samuel answers in a groggy voice.

"Hey Sam, I made breakfast-"

"Oh great! I'll be down in a second. Thanks, Danny!"

"Do you know why I made it?"

"Because you're nice?"

"It's Mother's Day, Sam."

"Oh shit, it is?! Dammit, I forgot what day it was!"

"It's fine, that's understandable given the past few days, but just tell Tiffany there's food."

"Can I take a little credit too?"

"Sure."

"Thanks!"

Once Danny finished talking to Sam, he went to wake Jessica up.

Grayson was asleep cuddled into Jessica's back. It was so adorable Danny got his camera out and took his their picture.

"Hey honey.." Danny lightly shakes her.

"Hm?" Jessica slowly opens her eyes.

"Happy Mother's Day, beautiful."

"Awe, Danny.. Thank you, baby." Jessica smiles and Danny kisses her cheek.

"I have breakfast ready for you."

"Thank you so much, handsome." Jessica softly rubs her thumb on his cheek.

Danny takes her hand and kisses it, then helps her up to sit.

"Let me just use the restroom really quickly."

"No problem.. You okay?"

"Yeah, I just hurt everywhere." She chuckles.

"Awe, I'm sorry."

"It's okay.. It's getting close!" Jessica smiles.

"Yep! Our little Novies is almost here!" Danny rubs her belly and kisses it.

Jessica giggles and smiles down to Danny.

"She's getting so big in there!"

"I known. I can feel it!" Jessica chuckles.

"We get to see her in the 3D ultrasound tomorrow!"

"I'm so excited!"

"It'll be like a birthday present for you, huh, daddy?"

"Oh yeah! The best little birthday presents ever!" Danny smiles.

"Oh Mr. Huston, this is so sweet! Thank you!" Tiffany says sitting down to eat.

"You're very welcome, sweetheart."

"Hey, I said I helped!" Sam says.

"I heard you on the phone, Samuel."

"Dammit."

Everyone laughs and they all sit down for breakfast.

"Tiff.. Mom.. I didn't really have time to shop, and I'm really really sorry, but.. I hope you like the new son I gave you, and mom, I hope you like the new grandson I made just for you!" He smiles.

"Haha! I love him, son!" Jessica laughs.

Suddenly James and Caroline walk in and everyone looks at them strange.

"No one woke us up!" James says.

"Um.. You don't live here." Michael responds.

"We stayed so late, we didn't feel like going home, so we slept on the floor of Nova's nursery."

"Oh honey, why didn't you say anything? That couldn't have been comfortable!"

"It's okay, Jess, we're fine. *Smiles* Happy Mother's Day!" Caroline hugs her.

"Thank you, honey!"

"Morning, Nova! Muah!" Tiffany baby talks to her belly.

Jessica giggles and James hugs her and kisses her cheek.

"Happy Mother's Day, mom! I love you. Thanks for birthing me." He smiles.

"Awe, you're welcome, sweetie! And I love you too!" Jessica baby talks to him and squeezes his cheeks.

That evening they had Dorothy, Zoe, and Sam's mother, Jane, over for dinner.

"Oh Samuel, you look so adorable in your cute little outfit!" Jane says in a baby voice.

"Thanks, grandma!" Sam smiles.

Jane laughs and says, "You look adorable too, Samuel. But this baby boy is just so sweet in his little outfit his great grandma bought for him!"

"I love that outfit! He looks so cute!" Tiffany laughs.

"Yes he does." She smiles down to the baby.

"He's so aware, isn't he?" Jessica says.

"Yes! What are you looking at, baby boy?"

Samuel's eyes were glued up to the ceiling.

"He's amazed at whatever's up there." Zachary chuckles.

"Heh, I know!
.. You guys look! He's smiling!" Jane giggles.

Jessica tears up and says, "Grayson used to do that.. They...*Sniffles* They say babies can see angel's, and... Well, I think we all know who baby Samuel is staring at." She smiles.

Samuel gives the smallest and cutest little smile up to the ceiling.

"He's so happy!" Tiffany says with a big happy smile.

Tears form in Sam's eyes as he watches his son.

"He always put a smile on everyone's face..." He mumbles in a low tone.

"Yes he did." Jessica answers with a shaky voice.

"Are those grandpa smiles?  Huh?  Are those smiles for grandpa?!" Jane giggles as the baby smiles even bigger.

Tiffany rubbed Sam's back and laid on his arm.
He readjusted himself and wrapped his arm around her and placed a soft kiss on her head.
Tiffany looks up and smiles, before Sam softly kisses her lips.
