Seven months
34 weeks.
"Everything is pretty much ready for my little man, all we need is.. The little man!" Jessica giggles.
"Awe! *Smiles*
Jessica, his room is adorable! And this picture! Oh my gosh!"
"I know, isn't Jane great?"
"Yes! And look at you, sexy mama! Jess, you look hot!"
"Oh stop!" She laughs.
"You do! Sam was a lucky man!"
"Hm well.." She shrugs.
"He was!"
"Thanks." Jessica laughs.
Sarah walks around looking at everything in the nursery.
"Look at this, you're even stocked up on diapers! You're ahead of the game!"
"Yeah! A lot of people at work have been buying me some!"
"Really? That's sweet!"
"Yeah, they're awesome."
"So you're all ready for him!"
"Yep!" Jessica sits in her nursing chair.
"I can't wait to meet him!"
"Me either! I still can't believe it.. I'm pregnant, Sarah! How weird is that?!"
"It's crazy! I'm so happy for you."
"Thanks." She smiles while rocking back and forth with her hands resting on her belly.
"... You know, today makes seven months since Sam passed."
"Seven months? Wow!"
"I know. It's weird..
I still feel like he's gonna walk through the door and be like, Surprise! I got you!
Haha! I'd probably kill him if he told me he was alive!" Jessica laughs.
"Hah! It certainly sounds like something he'd do."
"Definitely! He was always joking around! He was always, always, Always trying to light a fire under my ass!
I miss it."
"The boys are just like him."
"Oh yeah! *Nods* They're always playing a joke on someone! Sometimes it feels like Sam is in the house, with the way they act!" Jessica chuckles.
"Hm! They're great boys, you're a lucky lucky mama, Jessie."
"Yes I am!" She softly smiles at her as she continues rocking and lightly running her fingertips on her belly.

The next day.
"I'm running out of things to wear to work! None of my clothes fit me anymore!" Jessica says walking into the kitchen in a dress.
"Heh, he's getting big!" Sam looks at her growing mid section.
"Yes he is! And he's moving even more! I barely slept at all last night! I am definitely starting to feel this third trimester."
"At least you're almost done." James smiles.
"I know.. It makes me sad to think about though...
This is the last time I'll be pregnant, and I just want to enjoy it while it lasts.. But then I'm super eager to meet him and I want him out right now!
.. But Then! I think about how when it's time for him to come, it'll already be Christmas! And you know how fast the school year goes after that! My babies will be gone!" She looks at the twins with a sad face.
"Awe mom! Don't think like that! You still have the whole summer with us." Sam says.
"Yeah.. It's just gonna be hard.
I want you guys to go.. I really do. But I'm your mommy and it's gonna be hard for me to send you away."
"We'll visit, mom." James looks at her with a sadness in his eyes.
"Good! We'll try to visit too, right Mikey?"
"Yeah, sure-Can I have one of their rooms?"
"Michael!"
"Just planning ahead!"
"Heh! Ow!" Jessica scrunches her face and holds her side.
"What happened?!" Sam asks with wide eyes.
"I just got a cramp." She says letting out a deep breath.
"Well it looked painful, are you sure you're okay?"
"Yeah, it was probably a Braxton hicks contraction."
"Contraction? I thought that only happens when the baby comes."
"No, Braxton hicks prepare your body for the real thing. They're not super painful, just uncomfortable and slightly annoying."
"Oh.. Why are you getting them now?"
"Now is about the average time to get them."
"So you'll get them until he comes?"
"Pretty much." She nods.
"Damn! You still have two months!"
"Language! And yeah, that's just one of the many dreadful things that comes along with the third trimester." Jessica chuckles.
"Man am I glad I'm not a woman!"
"Heh! Yeah, that's why when you find a woman, you treat her like a queen. Women ain't no pussies!"
"Mom!" Sam laughs.
"Just saying! *Laughs* You boys have a good day at school, I have to get to work."
"Okay, be careful!" James touches her back and kisses her head.
***
Jessica gets in the car and her belly was right by the steering wheel.
"Woah, time to adjust my seat!
You're just a growing, aren't you?" She looks down and touches the top of her stomach while talking in a baby voice.
She buckles her seat belt and takes a deep breath.
"Oh gosh, it's getting harder and harder to breathe lately! You're just getting so big, little guy!" Her voice goes high.
The baby kicks are and rolls around where Jessica can see.
"Oh my, you're so strong! You are so so strong!"
When she gets to the office, she grabs her purse and gets out of her car.
"Ooh mama is gonna pee on herself! Let's go! Let's go! Let's go!" She slams the door and cutely runs to the building.
She runs into a family bathroom to pee, then goes upstairs to her brother's office.
She opens the door and the place was decorated with blue decorations.
"Surprise!" George and some co workers say.
"Oh my gosh! You guys! What are you doing?!" Jessica laughs.
"You have to have a work baby shower! We made sure we were all in the office today just for you and baby Grayson!" A women says.
"You guys!! This is so sweet! You didn't have to do this!"
"We wanted to! Now come sit down, mommy!" Someone grabs her hand and brings her to her decorated desk and chair.
"We have food, we have presents, we have cake! All for baby Gray Gray!" Her friend holds her stomach.
"Awe! You all are gonna make me cry! Thank you so so much!"
"Little George is gonna be so spoiled!" George places his hand on the center on her stomach.
"Yes he is!" Jessica laughs.
George packed his and her car full of the gifts she received, then followed her home to help her put everything up.
The boys were already home and had started in dinner.
"Oh it smells good in here! My boys are such good cooks! That's all your daddy, he was the best!"
"Yes he was, and he taught us pretty well, I think." Sam tastes his food and corrects himself, "Mmm! I know he did!"
Jessica laughs and George walks in with a bunch of Jessica's gifts.
"Hey uncle George! Mom, why do you have so many gifts?" Michael asks.
"They threw a baby shower for me at work today."
"Oh that's nice! This kid has so much stuff!"
"I know! He's definitely spoiled already!" She chuckles.
"Oh wait! Look!" Jessica yanks one of the gift bags away from George and pulls out four t-shirts.
"You guys got gifts too!
Here three big boy shirts, for my big boys! It says Big Brother! And here's a little baby onesie that says little brother! You guys can wear them to the hospital when I have him! Then you can match when he's born!!"
"Heh! Cute." James smiles.
"I know you boys are older, but I want you to match and you're going to!"
After dinner, George helps Jessica organize things in the nursery.
"You got a lot of good stuff!"
"I know! Thank god, I was scared I wasn't gonna have anything!" She says as they sit on the ground, folding Grayson's little baby clothes.
"Awe, I wouldn't have let that happen!"
"Well thanks, George." She smiles.
Jessica sighs and says, "I'm really nervous about this baby."
"Why?"
"George, it's been so long since I've had a baby! Fourteen years! That's a long time!"
"Damn, that is a long time!"
"I know!
I'm obviously nervous about giving birth, since it's been so long, and Sam was always the one that kept me sane.. But I'm nervous about raising a newborn all over again! It's like relearning everything!"
"Well you'll have plenty of help."
"Yeah.. It's hard with two parents, so I can't imagine alone...
That's just what I keep thinking.
The late night feedings and changing's... I won't have anyone..
The boys are here, but they have school, and it's not their responsibility to take care of a baby.
...I'm on my own."
"Jessie, don't say that.
Why don't you ask mom to stay with you for a while after you have the baby?"
"I don't know.. I just don't like showing people that I need help.
Sam even said I was like that... Before he passed, he said that I was gonna need help...
He said he knows I hate asking for it, but he knew I was gonna need it... Heh! Boy do I!" She slightly raises her eyebrows and nods while she rests one hand on the top of her belly.
