Danny held Jessica in his arms as she cried.

"It's not fair, Danny. It's not fair!"

"I know, baby. But she was happy. That should give you some peace, right?"

"It does. I just wish she was with me Danny, is that selfish."

"Of course not, sweetie! That's your baby, wanting her doesn't make you selfish."

"Her little glasses and bangs were the most adorable things I've ever seen!  It's crazy, but Danny I know that was my child! It wasn't just a dream!  That was our little girl."

"It's not crazy, I'm sure she and Sam actually visited you.. that's good that you dream that vividly."

"Yeah..
I wish you could have seen her. She was so cute."

"I bet she looked as beautiful as her mommy."

"Even more beautiful.."

Danny held her and Jessica cried herself to sleep.

The next day during her lunch break she went to the store and picked up a few things.

When she got home she said hello to the boys, changed into comfortable clothes and took Grayson outside with her.

"Mom, what are you doing?" Michael follows her.

"I'm starting a garden." She smiles.

"Oh, nice."

"Yeah. Is Danny home yet?"

"Not yet."

"Okay, when he gets home will you please send him out here?"

"Sure."

"Thank you, baby."

"No problem."

"Mommy what you doing?" Grayson lifts his little hands.

"We're making a gorgeous garden for your sissy."

"Sissy?"

"Yeah! This first section of the garden will be hers and we have to make it perfect for your sister!"

Grayson watches her then puts his hands in the dirt.

"Are you helping mommy?" Jessica smiles.

"Mhm!" He nods.

"Well thank you, little guy!"

"Hey baby, I'm home! Whatcha doin?" She hears Danny from behind.

Jessica looks up at him and smiles big.

"I'm starting a garden and the first part of it is dedicated to Felicity!"

"Awe baby, that's great!" Danny bends down beside her and rubs her back.

"Thanks. I'm excited!"

Halloween.

"Happy Halloween, Gray!" Danny says walking into his room to get him out of his crib.

"Danny!" He bounces.

"What's up, buddy?" Danny smiles.

"Where mama?"

"Mama's in the shower, you want some breakfast?"

"Yeah!!"

Later that day Jessica dressed Grayson up in his little bear costume.

"Oh my goodness, you are the cutest little bear I have ever seen!
Show mama what sound bears make."

"ROOOOOOAR!" Grayson lifts his paws up.

"Very good, my baby bear!!" Jessica picks him up and gives him kisses.

Sarah and Evan were having a Halloween party, and all of Jessica's family was going to be there as well.

"Okay Gray, when they open the door, you know what to do!"

"Yes mommy." He smiles and nods.

"Good!"

Jessica rings the doorbell and holds Grayson's hand.

Sarah opens the door and Grayson jumps at her.

"ROOOOOAR!!!"

"Oh my goodness you scared me! Look at you, aren't you just the cutest little bear I have ever seen?!" She picks him up and kisses his cheek.

"Down! Down!" Grayson kicks his legs.

"I'm sorry!" She chuckles and puts him down.

Grayson takes off running making them laugh at his cuteness.

"Where are my girls?!" Jessica says walking into the house.

"Jessie!" McKenna runs over and hugs her.

"Oh my favorite girl! How are you today?"

"Good! Can you guess who I am?" McKenna moves back and spins in a circle.

"Let me guess! Princess Elena?"

"Yes! How did you know?!"

"I see the commercials when Grayson's watching Paw Patrol!" She giggles.

"Riley watches that too!"

"Does she? Speaking of, where is my little jelly bean?"

"Riley! Come say hi to Jessie!" McKenna calls her.

Riley runs out and giggles.

"Look at you! Are you a piggy?" Jessica picks her up.

"I think you are! Oh you're the cutest little piglet I've ever seen!" Jessica says before she kisses her cheek.

"Okay, I have a stinky little bear, come on Gray, let's go change you'd diaper."

"No mama!"

"Yes, come on!"

"NO!"

"I've got him!" Danny yanks him up.

"No! No! No!" Grayson kicks and screams.

"Grayson!  No sir, we do not act like that!" Jessica gets into him.

"Now stand up and hold my hand like a big boy."

Danny puts Grayson down and he lowers his head and pouts.

He lifts his little hand and Jessica takes it.

"Awe!  You crushed his spirit, mom." Michael says.

"Oh he'll be fine!"

Sarah picks Riley up and says, "My little piggy made a stinky too, I'll join you."

"I no made a stinky, mommy."

"Quiet!" Sarah whisperers loudly.

"Right behind you, Jess."

Sarah follows Jessica into one of the rooms and they lay the babies down.

"Mommy I not wet or stinky." Riley says confused as to why she's in there.

"Just lay down, sweetie." Sarah pats her stomach.

"Jess, I've been dying to know!  What did Danny say about the baby?" Sarah smiles big.

Jessica sighs and looks down.

"He doesn't want another baby."

"What?!  I thought he was the one trying to change your mind."

"He was.. I don't know..
Maybe he just doesn't want me to carry his child because of what happened with the last one.  Maybe he doesn't trust my body."

"Jessie, I'm sure that's not it-"

"Well why else wouldn't he want one?  I didn't say anything, but that really hurts my feelings.
I love him and I wanted to have his baby, Sarah."

"Well Jess, why don't you just talk to him?  Maybe he thinks you don't want another one."

"But I told him that I did, Sarah!"

"Yeah but maybe he's thinks you're just saying that because you know he wanted one."

"I'm confused."

"Yeah well I'm confusing myself!"

"What?" Jessica tilts her head.

"I-" Sarah starts but is interrupted by Riley.

"Mama, he smells." She points to Grayson.

"See!  I told you, Grayson!" Jessica laughs.

"Mommy!" Riley calls Sarah.

"What?"

"Now I need a diapy!"

"Heh!  Okay."

Later that evening the boys left to go to a party and everyone else headed home except for Danny, Jessica and Grayson.

"This is nice being together, the four of should go out sometime." Sarah says.

"Yeah, that would be fun!  We haven't been out just four of us at all since Daniel and I started dating." Jessica smiles at him.

"Awe that look!  You used to give me that look, Sar." Evan says.

"Hey they haven't been dating that long!  I've been married to you for almost ten years!"

"Ten years already?  Wow!  Oh Daniel, their wedding was so beautiful!  I would have enjoyed it so much more if Michael hadn't had a stomach bug."

"Oh no!"

"Yeah!  Sam and I spent a lot of the wedding with a sick child."

"Poor Mikey." Danny chuckles when Riley runs up to him.

"Hi!" She smiles and waves.

"Well hello!  You're a cutie!"

"Tank you!  I Wiley." She says in her cute baby voice.

"I'm Danny!"

"Hold me?" She lifts her arms.

"Sure." Danny chuckles and lifts her up.

"Woah! She giggles.

"I think she likes you Danny." Sarah laughs.

"Mhm!" Jessica smiles.

Riley hugs Danny and he rubs her back.

"Awe she's so sweet!"

"Why don't you have a girl, Danny?" McKenna asks.

"Well I've always wanted one, but God sent me some pretty amazing boys." He smiles at Jessica.

Her smile slowly fades and her eyes travel down.

"Well you look great with a little girl, Danny.. Maybe you and Jessica should have one one day."

"Hmh! Yeah.. I don't know about that.  We're happy, right baby?"

"Yeah." She sighs.

The thought of Danny not a baby really stuck in Jessica's mind.

Maybe he's having doubts about our relationship? Maybe he doesn't trust me to carry his child.. I don't even really trust myself, I guess...
But I want to try! It's not fair of him to deny me that when he was the one saying that he wanted a baby!

The next day.

"Grayson today is the start of your birthday month! My baby boy is turning two in just a little over two weeks!"

"Yay!"

"Yeah baby!  Can you tell mama how old you're gonna be?"

"One?"

"No you're one now, silly!  You're gonna be two years old!  Can you say two?"

"Two!"

"Yay!  Good job!"

A few days later Jessica and Danny went shopping for Grayson's birthday.

"I can't believe he's gonna be two.. That's a toddler, Daniel!  He's not a little baby anymore!  Oh Danny, he was such a cute baby!  Just so happy right from birth, always smiling, always giggling.  He was just perfect in every way!"

"You're a good mom, Jess." Danny smiles softly.

"Thank you..
*Sighs* Now let's finish shopping so I can go home and cuddle my little man!"

Danny chuckles and Jessica quickly walks over to the clothes.

"Oh Danny, look at these little pants!  He needs these.  Oh and he needs these shoes!"

Danny watches Jessica run around crazy looking for things to buy Grayson.

"Jessie, it's okay, we're in no rush." He chuckles.

"Sorry!" She says cutely.

Grayson's Birthday.

The twins had gotten there early that morning for Thanksgiving break.

Jessica heard Danny's car so she ran to open the door.

"Mom!" James smiles as he steps out of the car.

"James!  Samuel!  Oh I missed you boys so much!!" Jessica runs out in her robe to hug them.

"We missed you too, mom."

Jessica places her palms on their cheeks and her eyes fill with tears.

"I'm so happy my babies are home!"

"Good morning my precious baby boy!  Guess what today is!  It's my Gray Gray's birthday, that's what it is!"

"YAY!!" Grayson jumps up and down.

"Happy Birthday, beautiful boy!" Jessica takes him out of his crib and kisses him.

"Let's go downstairs, there's a surprise for you!"

"The birthday boy's up!" Jessica says walking down the stairs.

"Happy Birthday, Grayson!" Everyone says loudly.

Grayson looks around with a big smile, then his eyes catch the twins.

He gasps and tries to get down. 

Jessica laughs and stands him up.

Grayson runs to the boys with excitement and Samuel picks him up.

"Hey buddy!  We missed you!"

"Missed yew!" He pokes Sam's face.

"Haha!  Awe, you did?"

Grayson nods his head then throws himself on him.

"You know who else has a birthday today?" Jessica walks over to her boys.

"Who, mama?"

"Daddy!"

"It dada too?!  It dada too?!" Grayson's eyes light up.

"Yeah, isn't that amazing?!  You wanna go visit your birthday buddy?"

"Yeah!" He smiles and nods.

"Okay, let's eat breakfast, then get dressed so we can go before your party!!"

"YAAAAYYYY!!" Grayson lifts his arms and kicks his legs.

Jessica and the boys went to visit Sam, while Danny and Zachary stayed to get the house ready for the party.

"Here we are!  Can you say Happy Birthday, Dada?"

"Happy *Babbles* Dada!" Grayson kisses his father's grave.

"Say I love you!"

"I lub yew!"

Jessica smiles and places her hand on him.

"You lub him, mama?"

"I love him very very much, Grayson!"

"Why?"

"Because your daddy was the sweetest and kindest person in the world... and.. He gave me you." She smiles softly at the boys.

A couple hours later was Grayson's party.

Today was the first time they would have this many people over at the new house.

They invited Jessica and Sam's family, some friends, and Angelica and her family.

"Grayson, come with mommy so we can eat."

"No I play!" He points to Riley.

"Riley's gonna eat too, now come on."

"NO!" He pouts.

Jessica takes his hand and Grayson throws a tantrum.  He throws himself on the ground and screams.

"Grayson George!"

Jessica bends over and picks him up.

George walks over to them and watches.

"It's my party and I'll cry is I want to!" He sings.

"Oh shut up, George!"

After the cake and presents, Grayson was worn out and past out on Jessica.

Everyone had left, but George and Angelica.  Their kids were still playing outside together.

"Heh!  The little booger wore himself self." George says sitting next to Jessica.

"I know." She smiles down at him and softly runs her thumb on his leg.

"He's turning into a little handful, isn't he?" George chuckles. 

"Yes he is!  It's the age, remember how bad my boys were at two?"

"Oh God yes!  All of them!"

"Just wild little things!"

"Mhm!
Hey, can I ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Are you okay?  The past couple weeks you've seemed different.  Is everything okay with you and Danny?"

Jessica inhales deeply and looks down.

"What?"

"I don't know. *Shurgs* I don't know." She nods.

"I'm happy, and he seems happy it's just.. It doesn't matter."

"Jess!  Come on, you know you can talk to me."

"Okay so about a month ago I told Danny that I wanted to try for a baby.  Losing the pregnancy was very difficult, but after is was over I was left feeling so empty... It was like I was missing something I had no idea I even needed."

George nods as he listens intently.

"I was thinking this whole conversation would go great and we'd start trying.."

"But it didn't."

"No.
He told me that he didn't want he didn't want another baby, so now I'm questioning his feelings towards me.
Maybe he blames me for the miscarriage.. Maybe he's mad at me.."

"Jess, I'm sure that's not the case.  Have you talked to him about this since then?  Does he know how you feel or do you just keep all bottled up inside you?"

"I keep it to myself."

"Jessie, that isn't healthy."

"I know! 
*Sighs* I just don't know what to do.
It's on my mind twenty four seven.  I hate thinking like this because I know Danny loves me.. I just sometimes question everything.. I mean, if it were the other way around I'd blame him for not keeping my baby safe. 
I had one job.. That was to keep our baby alive, and I failed." She looks at him with tears in her eyes.

"No, don't do that to yourself.  You know that wasn't your fault." George says wrapping his arm around her.

"Then I had this dream.. Where I saw her.
George, I know it's crazy because I have so many kids, and maybe I'm selfish, but I don't care! 
I feel so empty.  I want this baby so bad."

"You're not selfish, Jessica.
Please promise me you'll talk to him."

Jessica nods.

"I will." She says in almost a whisper.

Danny's POV.

He sat with his sister and brother in law outside while the kids played together.

"Hey Ang, can I talk to you for a second?" Danny asks standing up.

"Sure." Angelica follows him.

"What's wrong?"

"It's about me and Jessica.."

"What happened?"

"I um.. I...."

"You what, Daniel?" Angelica quickly became concerned.
