The next morning Jessica walked into the living room area where Sam was sleeping.

"Sam!" She shouts but he doesn't move.

"Samuel!"

"Hm?"

"Get up!"
Sam opens his eyes the shields them from the light.

"Mom, go away.." He mumbles.

"Sit down!" She says sitting on the edge of the coffee table in front of him.

Sam was only in underwear so he grabbed a throw pillow and places it on top of him.

"Samuel, I understand that you're twenty one and you can do whatever you you want, you're an adult. But we are on a family vacation and I asked you to take care of your little brother. What would make you leave and go get drunk with some girl?"

"I'm sorry.."

"Alcohol is serious, and I don't want you going down the wrong path."

"Jesus, mom! It was just one night! I got drunk, crucify me!"

"Samuel, I know it was just one night, but as your mother it is my job to tell you what's right and what's wrong. It's my job to give you advice, because if not then what kind of mother would I be?"

...

"Just please be careful."

"I will.."

"Now go get some clothes on and get that pillow off your balls!"

"MOM!" He shouts with embarrassment as Jessica walks out of the room.

Once their little vacation came to an end they flew back to Minnesota and slowly went back to reality.

"Danny, I'm not ready for school to start. I'm not ready for the boys to leave.."

"I know.. It won't be easy, but this is what we've spent their whole lives getting them ready for. When a child moves away, you should feel proud."

"That's true, I guess.. I'm just gonna miss having them here. All four will be gone now. Poor Grayson's gonna be all alone." Jessica pouts.

"He's not alone, honey."

Jessica wipes her tears and says, "We should get going. We're gonna be late."

Jessica had an appointment with her OBGYN today, and Danny was going to go with her.

The doctor felt around her stomach and did an ultrasound to make sure everything was how he suspected.

"Jessica, I'm going to be giving you a prescription for Clomid 50mg. That will be cycle one. I'm going to monitor you closely to make sure you're cysts stays the same, and to make sure there there is no ovary enlargement."

"Okay. Will this work?"

"Most women start ovulating in the first three months of taking it. In a month I'll check you and if you're not ovulating then I'll double the dosage. The longest you can take this medication is six months."

"Okay.."

When Danny and Jessica got in the car Jessica was very quiet.

"Are you okay, honey?"

"I just hope it works.." She says softly as she looks out the window.

August 20th.

Today was Michael's 18th birthday.

"Happy birthday, baby! I can't believe you're eighteen already."

"Thanks mom!"

"It feels like just yesterday you were born.. I remember when we brought you home from the hospital.. The twins just stared at you for the longest time and didn't say a word!" Jessica laughs.

"James poked your cheek and asked, Is dat weal, mommy?" Jessica laughs.

"Sam was over it right away, but then you started crying! And that's when everyone suddenly wanted mommy and the twins were baby's again."

Michael chuckles and Jessica continues.
"Daddy helped me a lot. We finally got into some kind of a schedule, and then eventually you all liked each other." She laughs.

"That's funny!"

Jessica softly caresses her thumb on his cheek.
"Are you okay, mom?" Michael asks as her eyes become teary.

"Yeah. I-I'm okay.." She smiles softly.

That night they celebrated both Michael and Zachary's birthdays since they would be leaving for school before Zach's.

One week later they flew over to OU to help the boys get situated. It was going to be hard leaving all four of them there, but Jessica and Danny were so proud of them.

"Looks like you're all set.. Call us if you need anything, okay?"

"Yes ma'am."

"I love you all and I'm so so proud of each of you. Boys, your senior year of college is the last step before you're really on your own, so have fun and enjoy it.. But always be responsible.
Mikey and Zach.. Michael, you were my baby for so long, and now you're grown, and I can't believe it. I'm so so proud of the young man you've become.
Zachary.. My boy." Jessica says with a teary smile.

"We've gotten so close in such a short time. You're my son now and I'll always be here for you. Don't ever be afraid to come and talk to me. I'm your mother, and I love you."

"I love you too, mom."

Tears fall down Jessica's cheeks and the boys all give her a hug.

"We love you, mom!" They all say while squeezing her tight.

"My boys!" Jessica giggles.

"Mommy, I your boy too!" Grayson squeezes himself in and grabs onto her legs.

"Yes you are, baby! I love all of you."

"Well I guess this is it. Here. I have something for you three. It's from daddy. Read it after I leave. I've done enough crying for one day."

"Thanks.."

"Bye." Jessica smiles.

"Mom, wait!"

Jessica turns around and Michael quickly walks over and gives her one more hug.

"Awe baby!"

He holds her tight and Jessica rubs his back.
"It's okay, baby. You're gonna love it here."

Michael's first day of preschool.

"Sam, maybe we should wait a year.. He's just a little baby!"

"Jessie, he'll be okay. I know he's the baby, but he's gonna have so much fun! I know he'll love it."

Jessica tears up as she buttons Michaels little pants.

"Mommy, why are you crying?"

"I just.. I um.. I hit my toe and it's making me cry."
Sam chuckles and Michael says, "Oh! Mama, where are we going? Why am I wearing this?" He pulls on his school shirt that was tucked into his pants.

"No don't do that, sweetie. You're going to school!" She smiles and fixes his shirt.

"What? No! I can't do that, I just a baby!"

"No, you're a big boy and you're gonna have so much fun!"

"I can't have fun when you're not there!"

"Awe baby.." Jessica held him and never wanted to let go.

"Look Mikey! You hang your backpack up here where your name is!" Sam smiles.

Michael grabs onto Jessica's leg and buries his face in her.

"Oh wow, that's so cool! Look, Michael!"

"Mommy, can we go home?" He looks up to her.

"No baby, mommy and daddy will pick you up after school, okay? Then we'll go get something to eat and you get to pick since its your first day of school!" She smiles down to his pouting face.

Jessica goes and sits him down, then she and Sam walk towards the door.
Michael turns around and runs towards her. "Mommy!"

"Awe baby!" Jessica gets down and holds him.

"It's okay baby, you're gonna love it here.."

"I'm scared, mommy.."

Jessica looks into his eyes and says, "Don't be scared. Mommy and daddy have raised a strong boy... and I know you can do anything."

"I love you."

"I love you too, baby boy!"

"I.. I'm scared, mom."

"Don't be scared, baby.. Me and daddy raised a strong young man... and I know you can do anything." Jessica holds his cheeks and looks into his eyes.

"I love you, mom."

"I love you too, baby!"

Once Jessica, Danny and Grayson flew back to Minnesota the house seemed so much larger.
It was just the three of them now, and it would take a lot to get used to.

"Mommy, when are the boys coming home?"

"The boys will visit on Thanksgiving, and your birthday!" Jessica smiles.

"Mikey and Zach?" He points to their rooms.

"They're at school, honey. Remember when we dropped them off?"

"Yeah.."

"That's where they're gonna live for a while. With the twins."

"But I miss them." Grayson pouts.

"So do I , honey. But now you have mommy and daddy all to yourself!"

"But my fwiends! I want them.. I want my brothers!" His eyes fill with tears.

"Awe! Grayson.." Jessica picks him up and kisses his cheek.

"Do they not like me?"

"Honey, they love you! We can call the tonight before you go to bed if you want."

Grayson starts crying and buries his face in the crook of her neck.

"Oh my sweet boy! It's okay, honey." Jessica comforts him and rubs his back.

A few days later.

"Good boy!  Now pee!"

"Mommy, I can't!"

"Gray, you just said you had to go!"

"I go in dipey's!"

"Well not anymore!  You're gonna be four years old soon and you have to go potty like a big boy!"

"Okay.."

20 minutes later.

Danny was now in the bathroom with them and he and Jessica were talking about work.
Danny looks over and sees Grayson leaning forward asleep on the toilet.

"Jess, look at him!"

"Grayson!" Jessica laughs.

"What!" He gasps and jerks up almost falling into the toilet.  Jessica grabs his arm and laughs.

"I almost falled in!" His eyes widen.

"It's okay, momma's got you!"

"Can I get down now?"

"Sure.. I guess you should get to bed."

Jessica picks him up and he starts peeing so she quickly sits him back down.

"I using the potty!!" He says in an excited tone.

"Yay!  Good boy!" Jessica smiles.

"No more diapers!  Only big boy underwear!" Danny shouts.

"Yeah!  I a big boy now!"

"Woo hoo!!" Jessica cheers making him laugh.

"And only a little pee got on mommy!"

Danny laughs and Grayson cracks up.
"I pee peed on mommy!" He points to her.

September 23rd.

"Happy Birthday, son!"

"Happy Birthday, Zachary!" Jessica says in the background.

"Thank you guys!"

"We miss you!" Jessica says.

"I miss you guys too! How is everyone?"

"Great! It's a lot quieter now, so that's weird. But everyone is doing well."

"Well good! Thank you guys for calling. Hug Grayson for me!"

"We will! Have a good day, Zachary.. and be careful!"

Danny hangs up and looks down.
"You okay, honey?"

"Yeah... My boy's eighteen!"

"Aw.." Jessica walks over to where he was sitting and starts massaging his shoulders.

"Me and that kid went through some rough times.. I'm so proud of him."

Jessica kisses the top of his head and says, "You should be proud of yourself too. You did amazing all by yourself."

"Thank you, baby."

October.

Jessica has been on her medicine for a while now, and it's starting to effect her mood.

"Jessica, I know you're upset, but I just got home.  I didn't know you wanted me to cook dinner, and I'm sorry.  Just go upstairs and relax, okay?  I can make something fast."

"No!  You knew I was working today, so don't act like you didn't!"

"Okay.  I'm sorry.  I've got it, don't worry."

Jessica starts crying and fanning herself.

"Come here.  It's okay, honey." Danny wraps his arms around her, but Jessica was having a hot flash and did not want him near her.

"Get off of me, dammit!" She hits him.

Danny took a deep breath and backed off.

"I hate that you're always on me!  Give me space!"

Grayson looked up to his parents in fear.  He's never seen them fight, so Jessica's little outburst scared him.

"Mommy.."

"I'm sorry, Grayson.."

"Why are you yelling at daddy?"

Jessica looks into his sad little eyes, then looks at Danny and cries hard.
"I'm sorry!  I'm so sorry!  I can't help it!  I can't control anything anymore.. I-I feel so horrible for the way I've treated you lately, but I can't help it, Danny!"

"Shh, no baby, it's okay.. It's okay.
...Can I hug you?"

Jessica nods her head and wraps her arms around him.

"Listen.. I know what you're going through is hard, so I'm not mad at you.  I understand and I'm here for you, okay?"

Jessica nods her head, then lays on his chest.

Halloween.

"I'm Batman!"

"Oh my goodness!  Such a cute batman too, might I add!" Jessica smiles.

"Mommy, Batman isn't cute!  Don't say that!"

"Okay, okay, I'm sorry!  Batman is.. He's so strong and so cool!"

"Yeeaahhhh!" Grayson poses for her making her laugh.

That evening they went over to Sarah and Evan's for a Halloween party.
Jessica went as a sexy cop and Danny went as a convict.

"Well look at you two!  Jessica, I see you let the girls out to play tonight!" Sarah raises her brows.

"Heh!  Well it is Halloween after all!"

"That's true!  Come on in!
Oh Grayson, you look so cool!"

"Thanks!" He says before running around the house pretending to fly.

Jessica chuckles and nods her head.

"He's just a ball of energy, isn't is?"

"Yes he is!" Jessica and Danny both laugh.

Jessica had a drink in her hand and was talking to a group of people when Danny was watching her from a distance.
Her skirt was short, and she was wearing thigh high socks with boots.  The top of her smooth thighs were visible and her cleavage was making it hard for Danny to control himself.

Once her conversation ended Danny walked up behind her and said, "I've been a bad bad boy, officer.  I think I need to be punished." He grabs her stomach and pulls her closer as he rubs himself on her backside.

"Daniel Huston, get off of me."

"Why?"

"We're not at home!" She laughs.

"So?" Danny mumbles as he kisses the soft delicate skin on her neck.

Jessica takes a deep breath and moves her head to the side to allow him more room.

"Mmmm.." She moans and closes her eyes.

"I gotta go potty!" They hear a little voice ruining the mood.

They look down and Grayson is holding himself and doing a little dance.

"Go in your diaper." Danny says making Jessica laugh.

"He's not in diapers anymore!"

"Yeah dad, come on!" He hits Danny's leg.

"Yeah dad!" Jessica looks to Danny.

"Heh, come on, bud." Danny picks him up and Grayson says, "Oh no!  Hurry, I'm gonna go!"

Danny starts running and Jessica laughs.

"Jess, come here for a second!" Sarah calls Jessica into the other room.

"What up?"

Sarah looks at her and pauses for a second.

"Are you okay, Sarah?"

"Yeah.. Um, I.. I'm pregnant."

"What!" Jessica's eyes widen.

"Oh my gosh, are you serious?!"

"Yeah, I'm almost eight weeks."

"Oh wow!  Congratulations, Sarah."

"Thank you.. I'm terrified.  This one was not planned at all!"

"Oh.. Well I'm sure everything will turn out okay."

"The timing wasn't really great, but."

"Sarah, it's a baby!  I know if it were me I'd be over the moon!"

"What ever happened to you and Danny having a baby?"

"We've been trying, but.. Well there's issues with me."

"What?  Jessica, I had no idea!"

"Yeah, no one knows.  Just Danny and I."

"What's wrong?  If you don't mind me asking!"

"I'm not ovulating, so all that trying just went to waste really.  I've been on this medicine called Clomid, and hopefully it's working!  I go to the doctor next week."

"Well you're in my prayers, Hun."

"Thank you, I appreciate that."

"If you ever need to talk, I'm always here.  I'm your best friend, so don't be afraid to come to me."

Jessica smiles and nods her head.
"Thank you.  and congratulations!  A new baby.. That's so exciting!" Jessica gives her a hug.

"Thank you!  Evan is the only one that knows right now.  We're waiting another month or so to tell the girls."

"I'm sure they'll be thrilled!"

Jessica walks out of the room and Danny says, "Batman had an accident."

"What!  What happened?"

"I couldn't get the damn costume off!"

Jessica holds her laughter in and asks, "Well what is he wearing now?  I didn't pack any extra clothes for him."

"Some of Riley's clothes."

Jessica looks at Grayson running around in hot pink shorts and a my little pony shirt and starts cracking up.

"Our son is in drag!" She jokes.

"Mommy, I'm wearing panties!" Grayson laughs.

"Oh my goodness!  We better get him home." She laughs.

"Why mommy, I'm having fun!"

"Because you need to take a bath, silly!  You had an accident!"

"Oh.."

"We can come back another day so you all can play."

"Okay!" He smiles and runs to Jessica.

She picks him up and laughs.

"I've always wanted a little girl!  Now I have one!"

"Mommy, I'm a boy!" He laughs.

"Oh that's right!" Jessica plays along.

Later that night after Grayson is in bed Jessica goes to the bathroom to change.

"Jess, don't change!"

"I'm so tired, Danny."

"But you look so hot!"

"I don't feel hot.. I don't feel well.." She looks down.

"I'm sorry. 
Did something happen tonight?  You look a little down."

Jessica sighs and says, "Sarah's pregnant."

"No way!  That's so awesome!"

"Yeah... Danny, I know this sounds so so horrible, but I'm a little upset.  Why can't it be me?"

"Jess-"

"I mean, I'm so happy for her, but she was saying that the timing isn't good and.. I just don't understand that!  It's a baby!  I would kill to be pregnant right now!"

"I know.."

"Whatever.. It's fine.  I'm gonna take a shower."

"Okay.. I'll just satisfy myself, I guess.."

"Have fun with that!" Jessica chuckles.
