A few days later.

Jessica woke up and smelled breakfast, so she went downstairs.

Things looked different, but she just went with it.

"Good morning, beautiful! Sit down, breakfast is ready." Danny gives her a kiss.

"We have to enjoy these meals with everyone home while we can!"

"Yeah, just a week before James and I head back to OU!" Sam says.

Jessica sat down and everyone sat around talking and laughing.

"Jessica felt so happy. Her boys were all home, Danny and Zachary were there. They felt like a family.

Later that day Danny was working on a little swing set for Grayson, and the older boys were all at home playing video games.

"Mama, where Danny?" Grayson lifts his little hands.

Danny's working on something, he should be finished in a second." Jessica smiles.

"Jess, Gray.. I'm all done."

"Gray, let's go see what Danny made!"

"Go! Go! Go!" Grayson jumps up and down, then runs around quickly.

"Look at little Happy Feet!" Jessica laughs.

Danny picks him up and they go outside.

"My Danny!" He smiles and pats his back.

"Awe!" Jessica gushes.

"Look baby! Look what your Danny gave you!"

"Ahh!" He wiggles his body, so Danny puts him down.

He runs to the small slide and grabs on.

Danny and Jessica laugh at him lifting his leg into the ladder and hanging on tight.

"Let me help you, bud." Danny walks over and sits him on the slide.

Jessica kneels down in front of it and smiles.

"Slide down to mama, baby!"

Grayson slides down and giggles.

"Awe you're so cute!"

"Again! Again!" He runs to Danny and does it all over again.

"Awe you love it, don't you?" Jessica smiles.

"Yes!"

"Say thank you to Danny!"

"Thank you, Danny!" Grayson hugs him tight and wraps his legs around him.

Danny holds him and walks over to Jessica.

He grabs her hand and helps her up.

"Soon your little sister can play with you, Gray."

"Yay!" He lifts his hands in the air.

"Little sister?" Jessica asks confused.

"Well I'm being hopeful." Danny chuckles and rubs her stomach.

She looks down and begins feeling lightheaded when she sees a tiny bump.

Jessica looks at her left hand and sees a diamond ring on her finger.

"I need some air!" Jessica steps away from him.

"Honey, we're outside."

"I need some water."

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, just give me some space!"

Jessica walks into the kitchen and grabs a water.

She takes big gulps, then sits it down on the counter and breathes deeply.

She looks to the side and sees Sam on the chair smiling and waving at her.

"Sam?!" Her eyes widen.

Jessica quickly walks over to him.

"Oh my gosh, my baby!" She grabs his face and sits on his lap, then kisses him passionately when he suddenly disappears.

"Sam? Sam!" Jessica yells looking around for him.

"Mom, what are you doing?" Michael asks.

Danny heard her, so he came back in and put Grayson down.

"Sweetie, are you okay?"

She looks around with wide eyes, then looks up to the top of the stairs.

She saw Sam.

"I'm so confused! I don't know anything.. We're married?"

"Yes."

"I'm pregnant?"

"Yes. Baby, are you okay? You need to sit down."

"Sam. Baby, what's going on?" She looks up to him.

"Just calm down.. Remember everything happens for a reason. God has his timing for everything. Be patient and you'll have the world. Just have fun and enjoy your new life, pretty girl." He smiles down to her and disappeared once again.

"Sam! Sam come back!!!"

Jessica jerked up from the dream and looked around.

She was in Danny's house sleeping beside him.

She looked at her finer and there was no ring. She looked down and touched her belly, and there was nothing.

Jessica took a deep breath and laid back down.

"What the hell was that?" She mumbled.

Later that day.

Jessica was on the phone with the boys, and she and Danny were home alone with Grayson.

"Boys, are you sure you're okay by yourselves?  Danny says you're more than welcomed to stay here if you want."

"Mom, we're fine." Sam chuckles.

"Yeah, you take care of Danny.  We're really okay." James adds.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Okay.. You're coming over for dinner tonight, night?"

"Yes ma'am."

"Okay. I love you boys!"

"Love you too, mom!"

Jessica hangs up the phone and Grayson runs over to her.

"Hi baby!"

"Hi mama!" He smiles.

"What are you doing?"

"Mama, dat Danny! Dat Danny, mama!" Grayson points to him.

"I know it is, silly boy!" Jessica laughs.

"You just didn't believe me!"

"Yeah!" He giggles.

Danny smiles at them and Jessica says.

"Daniel, last night I had a weirdest dream. I mean, strange!"

"What was it about?"

"Well we had our own house, all of our kids were home. The boys were playing video games, and Grayson was playing with his toys as I relaxed on the couch. You were building a little slide for Gray, and when you were finished, he was playing on it.. And then you said something about him being able to soon play with his little sister."

"Oh?"

"Yeah, I was really confused! I was pregnant and you were hoping for a girl."

"Awe." Danny smiles.

"We were married."

"We were?" His smile becomes bigger.

"Yeah.. And then I saw Sam. I kisses him and then he disappeared...

And then he appeared further away and told me to be patient and I'll have everything.. That God has his timing and to just enjoy my life... I mean.. What the hell? What does that mean?"

"I don't know, that's strange.

But it was a good dream, you got to talk to Sam, baby." He smiles.

"Yeah." Jessica says with a small smile.

"Plus our life sounded pretty great!"

"It was pretty terrifying, I am done having babies!" Jessica laughs.

"Really?"

"Oh God yes!"

"Oh! Well okay.."

"You don't want anymore, do you?"

"Me? Oh no! Haha.. Definitely not!" He chuckles.

Danny looks down and becomes quiet.

"Are you okay, Danny?

Danny?"

"Hm?"

"You okay?"

"Yeah.. Yeah I'm fine." He smiles.

One week later.

"Well I guess I'm going back to my house.." Jessica pouts.

"I'll miss you, baby girl."

"I'll miss you too.."

That night Jessica laid in bed and had the same sad and lonely feeling she always had.

When she was with Danny she was happy, and comfortable, and felt protected. When she was at home she missed Danny, and she missed Sam. Even though she changed the room around, she realized that it would always remind her of him. She loved thinking about him but being in the room they once shared, where they made love and conceived their youngest son. It was all just too hard.

Jessica started thinking about the family night they all had at Danny's just last week.

They all got along and had a great time being together.

"Why don't we just move in together? I mean, being here is just so sad.

I hate thinking of selling our home, but.. I need to sell it in order to move on and start this new journey with him. It's not fair to me or to Daniel. I need to put my one hundred percent into this relationship, and I think this is the way to do it... I'm still trying to figure all of this out, but it just feels right.

Maybe that's what you were trying to tell me Sammy.. I know deep down in my heart that you're screaming Just do it, Jessica!" She chuckles.

"I just can't help but go back and forth on my decision. Ugh.. What do, Sammy?" She whines.

The next morning Jessica took Grayson to her parents and went to work.

"Jess, I'm glad your back.  I have so much work for you!"

"Thanks George." Jessica gives him a look.

"Well I'm sorry!"

Jessica sighs and gets to work.

Lunchtime.

One of Jessica's co workers come in and said, Jessica!  There's a very handsome man here to see you."

"To see me?" She smiles.

"Mhm!  Right in here, sir." The woman smirks.

The man walks in and Jessica jumps up from her desk.

"Danny!  Oh baby, what you you doing here?"

"I wanted to take you out for lunch."

"Awe Daniel!  Look at you with your little cane!" Jessica giggles.

Danny chuckles and kisses her lips.

"Are you ready for lunch?"

"Yes, I'm starving!  But I have so much work to do." Jessica pouts.

"Jessie, I came all the way over here.. Almost killed myself driving with this stupid thing!"

"Okay, okay! *Giggles* I guess I can sneak away for lunch."

"Good!"

"Mm!  The food is delicious!  Do you like what you ordered?" Jessica asks.

"Yes it's great!" Danny says before moving his leg and making a painful noise.

"Are you okay, baby?"

"Just in a little bit of pain, but I'm okay."

"My poor baby!"

"Jessie, I missed you in bed with me last night.  When you love someone, you should be with that person.. Be the last person they see before bed, and the first person they see when they wake up."

"I know, Danny.. That's what I wanted to talk to you about..

I've been thinking and praying about it and.. I think it's time that we move in together."

"Really?!" A huge smile lights up Danny's face.

"Yes, but under one condition!"

"Anything!  What is it?"

"You don't move in with me, and I don't move in with you.. We start fresh and buy our own place together.  A place we can create new memories as a family.. A place we can raise Grayson together."

Danny tears up a bit with that last part and says, "I would be honored, Jessica."

Jessica smiles and Danny says, "So we're doing this?"

"We're doing this!  A fresh start." Jessica says with happiness.
