I hoped everyone else was okay. Me and Bianca, obviously, were not.

I had accidentally shadow traveled us to the middle of a forest, and was too tired to shadow travel us out, so we were stuck there for a while.

Man I just had the worst luck.

I hoped the others had gotten away safe. When I say safe, I mean as safe as can be for a demigod,  which can also sometimes mean barely alive. I seriously hoped it didn't come to that.

I saw Leo and Frank climb on Festus and fly away, Jason beside them. I wondered what happened to Annabeth Calypso Percy Thalia Hazel and Piper.

Hazel had been acting kind of weird since Bianca showed up at camp. I tried to ask about it, but she'd just shrugged and said it was nothing. I wondered if it had anything to do with Bianca.

Was she... no she couldn't have been jealous of Bianca. I'd seen Hazel be a lot of things. Angry, sad, happy, but never in my life would I think Hazel was jealous of someone.

I heard a noise in the bushes behind me. Bianca stiffened. "Did you hear that?" She whispered.

I nodded.

Someone stepped out of the bushes. A... mortal? in the woods? "Stupid bushes won't even-" She cursed under her breath while trying to get her foot unstuck from a branch. Then, as if just noticing us there, "Oh sorry, didn't see you there. I'm a little lost. You guys know how to get out of here?"

"What are you doing here, and who are you?" I looked her up and down. She didn't seem like a monster. Just a regular mortal.

"Oh see there's this girl in my class real mean, and I was on lunch break in school and she showed up at my table and..." She stopped, noticing our confused looks. "look, the point is I got chased into the woods behind our school, and now I have no idea how to get back. As for who I am..." She hesitated for a second. "My name, is Nancy Bobofit."
