Ninety-six days.
That's how long I had been stuck in here.
How long I've been waiting to get out of here.
Maybe some half-bloods would come. I'd thought in the beginning. They'd have found out about Kronos sooner or later. That is, if they stopped Gaia from rising.
I didn't know what was going on out there, but the last time I was outside Gaia was trying to wake up. After that... I don't remember much.
I remember Gaia trying to recruit me for her war. Nope, no way. I'd thought. That first war had gone horribly wrong.
I'd gotten kidnapped by Kronos at one point. At first I tried counting the days but after about thirty days I started chiseling them into my cage like those people do in prison in those movies.
I'd started to lose hope when that centaur came in six days ago. Maybe now the half-bloods will come. Maybe they'll let me go for information.
False hope.
I waited.
And waited.
And after a while I'd heard voices from Luke's prison.
...But then they'd disappeared. Along with Luke.
Again, false hope.
So now here I am waiting for something, anything to happen.
The most interesting thing that happened since I came in here Medea accidentally tripping over her shoelace.
Suddenly my head started hurting.
Everything went black.
Oh yeah. I forgot about that.

"Have you thought about it?" Kronos's voice spoke into my dream.
I gritted my teeth. He was being so annoying. He'd been trying to recruit me since he captured me. "I'm not helping you." I said.
"Are you sure? You could be out of here. Ninety-six days seems like too much time." His voice was full of sympathy.
All fake.
I can't believe I ever helped him.
"Go find another idiot!" I slashed at the air in front of me.
Nothing.
Laughter erupted around me. It came from everywhere.
"I gave you a choice. Either work with me or watch as the world around you crumbles. I think i'll keep you and that pathetic boy Luke around to watch."
Then everything faded to black

I woke with a start. There was a girl leaning over me.
I sat up. "W- who are you?" I squinted through the light shimmering around her and tried to catch a glimpse of her.
She just looked at me, and then opened her mouth like she was about to say something. "Who are you?"
"What?" I asked confused.
She said nothing, and looked at the door of the prison I was in. Then, she walked over to the door and did something that surprised me. She gave the door a shove, and it collapsed.
She ran out through the door, motioning for me to follow. "What...?" I was so confused, but I wasn't questioning it.
If this girl could take me to freedom, who was I to stop her?
I took one last look around the cell and followed her out.
Finally updated.
Sorry it took so long I'm trying to update at least once a week but I know it's been a month since the last update
I've been pretty busy with school and stuff but maybe I could get in about ten chapters over the summer...
Also hopefully they'll be longer because all the most recent chapters are super short...
Also I'm probably gonna be editing most of the chapters since I started this book when I was 11 and my writing was absolute shit then
Anyways yeah bye!
