Annabeth

There was no camp erupting into chaos like before.

No panicking like before.

Thalia stood there, waiting for a reaction, but no one took this as new news. Of course, they had heard this same news just moments before.

"Thalia," I said. "We know. Kronos-"

I was cut off mid-sentence when Rachel stood up, eyes glowing green. I knew what was happening. We'd seen it before. I braced myself.

Green smoke swirled around her. She opened her mouth to speak, but the voice that came out was not hers:

Ten half-bloods journey through land
Sky water earth and sand
To find the lair of the Titan king
Before chaos upon all he does bring

I thought she was done, but apparently the Oracle of Delphi wanted to torcher us with extra lines this time.

The cage that holds chaos shall be destroyed
By one the world has let rejoin
Unless the half-bloods can survive
With help of the Titan's daughter stay alive
And death they shall avoid

The green smoke went away and Rachel collapsed on the floor, unconscious.

The Apollo campers hurried over. We all knew the drill. No different than the other prophecies she had given.

While all of that was happening, I was thinking about those new lines. What had they meant? Chaos? Did that mean Kronos trying to take over the world, or actually the goddess chaos?

I was so busy in my thoughts I didn't notice that all the campers had left. It was just me Percy, Thalia, Jason, Piper, Hazel, Frank, Nico, Bianca, Leo, and... Calypso.

Just looking at that girl made me annoyed. Sure she met Percy a long time ago, and was now with Leo, but her here just set off warning bells in me. I didn't want to start talking anything about the prophecy in front of her, but Percy apparently didn't mind.

"So at least that last line was good. Right? I mean I'm sure we all want to live? It's not just me?" He said in a shaky voice.

"What the heck was that?" Leo burst out. "How is it even possible for a prophecy to be that long? Thirteen lines? I mean c'mon don't we deserve a break?!"

Thalia pointedly ignored him. "What were you saying?" She looked at me. "About Kronos, before the prophecy."

"Oh yeah. Kronos is alive." I told her everything we knew so far. I was completely aware that Calypso was there, listening to it all, but when I thought back to those new lines we just heard, "with help of the Titans daughter stay alive", I guess we'd need her for this quest. As much as I didn't like it, it was usually bad to not follow what a prophecy said. It usually got you killed, and I personally liked staying alive.

When I finished, Thalia drew in a big breath, probably trying to get in her head what I had just said.

"So lemme get this straight, Kronos is alive. Kronos, the titan king we literally watched disintegrate, is alive. And is currently holding your camp activities director, our old friend then enemy, and our other enemy captive."

"Don't forget the dead coming back to life thing." I answered.

"Well, I kinda already knew that?" She said.

"What? How? Why didn't you tell anyone?" I was kind of hurt. We were best friends yet she didn't trust me with this information. Even though I already knew, it would have been nice to see that she trusted me.

"Umm I sent the hunters a message after I came back through the doors." Bianca said. "I don't know when it reached them, but I had to get word to camp half-blood right away, and I didn't know how to contact camp directly."

"And you didn't tell us this?" Percy asked.

"Hey I just saw you guys today." Bianca shot back.

I noticed Nico and Hazel being really quiet.

"You guys wanna say something?" I asked.

"W- what?" Nico looked up, realizing he had spaced off. "N- no. Nothing!"

Bianca looked closely at her brother. "You sure? You seem distracted."

"No it's nothing. Just kind of spaced off. You were saying?"

Weird. He was definitely hiding something. I would get it out of him, no matter how long it took.

Sooner or later.

Sooo how was the chapter? I really enjoyed writing it 'cause for some reason I like writing poems, and the prophecy's were real fun. I probably didn't reach Ricks level, but were they good?

Pls comment and enjoy!
