Avni : I missed you mumma ... I so missed you ...

Neela : sweetie I am here only ... And you just came a week ago only to meet me ...

Might be it was just few days for Neela maa but it was freaking years for Avni ... Hearing Neela maa Avni just snuggled more into her mother's arms ... She wanted to feel that comfort and warmth of her yet again ... Neela lovingly caressed her daughter's hairs ..

Neela : are you sure they didn't persecuted you for anything right ..

Avni : Nope they didn't persecuted me for anything ...

Well it was Avni whenever she used to meet her mother she would always kept her baggage of torture and vex from The Mehta's to herself ... But eventually she forgot Neela is her mother and mother always knows her kids so well that she never wanted any words to understand her child and so as Neela she knew her daughter the most she knew years back whatever her daughter has braced uptil now she was also one of those reasons but she couldn't help it out .. But still Neela always kept quite knowing that opening same wounds will do not any good to her or Avni .... Avni always used to lie that she is okay and Neela would lie too that she can see they used to lie infront of each other for each other ..

Avni : okay leave it why are you talking about that leez ..

Avni just showed little toungue to her mother telling she will definitely call them that .. and started laughing loudly and wholeheartedly .. maybe this is after so long Avni would have laughed like this ...

Neela was happy to see her daughter so much happy and open .. coz she knows Avni is excellent in hiding her feelings very well .. so seeing her daughter so carefree she was very much happy ..

Neela : Avi baby listen na .. it's been long time I didn't had one ice cream in a while can I get one ...

Avni : mummma ice cream are you a kid .. grow up .... You won't get ice cream until you get fit and fine and let me have a look on your vitals you call me punk right and what are you unless I don't have to speech you .... You never gets serious about you diet .. Aunt Mary show me Mummas recent reports ..

She called out for Aunt Mary who was just lost into the moment which this mother and Daughter was sharing ... She knew from which rough phase this two have gone from ... And  always prayed god to send someone for them ..

Aunt Mary : huh sorry baby what happened ...

Avni : are you ok ?

Aunt : yes sweetie I am good ..

There comes a oldie voice from the other bed .. Neela maa shares her room with a old lady named Grandma Rose .. she is sweet lady .. in her old 80s ... her family doesn't stay with her except her husband and grandson who barely gets any time for her ... her husband is old enough that he alone can't do anything so the couple always rely on the hospital canteen food whenever Avni comes with food for Neela she keeps a separate set of tiffins for old couple and Aunt Mary all have there lunch together with Avni that time ... and in return grandma and grandpa looks after Neela whenever Avni is not with her ... The couple was sweet ...

Avni : hey grandma was waiting for you to wake up ... How are you ..

Grandma : your grandma is getting older day by day sweetie but sorry to evesdrop you I heard that you brought homemade food and mmm ..

Avni : and my grandma loves my handmade food isn't it I know grandma don't worry today I made your favourite corn salad and shrimps ..

Grandma : darling I love you ..

Avni : where's grandpa James ..

Grandma : he might be here only maybe my grandson called ...

Avni : ohhh

Avni served grandma some food in her dish and grandma without wasting any other min dig into the food ...

Just when a old man enters in the room and saw his wife practically digging up in the food ...

Grandma : James darling look Avni made such a delicious food yummm it's amazing ( to Avni ) really Avni you have magic ... Ohh Neela you are so lucky to have her ...

Neela : ya I am lucky also but I feel always like a burden on my daughter how much she has to go through just because of me ...

Avni : Ms Neela Banerjee who said you are burden on me does looking after your mother is burdensome work you think that then keep that thoughts to you ..

Neela : Avi baby I was just saying that look at yourself you always keep yourself busy into me and never behaves like the other girls at your ahe they have a boyfriend and I am waiting that when my daughter will bring one ..

Avni : mom you are impossible ... Avni rolled her eyes

And Neela maa and all present in the room smiled ... James was happy seeing his beloved wife smiling whenever Avni comes to visit her mother she just bring a wave of happiness in this room .... Well hospitals usually sucks you know but Avni make that stay best in all sense .. Avni served James too and all started savouring delicious food by Avni and with some light talks and lots of laughter ...

After lunch Avni went to wash the dishes just when she saw some goons in roaming searching for someone ... And Then spot Randhir Mehta there ... He was questioning a nurse about Neelas whereabouts ...

Avni's pov

Randhir Mehta I warned you for not playing your this cheap tricks on me well you did it now see what I do you took my warning for granted let me show you know what I will do ....

Avni dialled Dev's number ..

Avni : hello mate need you here ... Time to show some reporting skills .. and ya bring your few more reporters friend here ... I can only distract them for 15 mins ...

Last words were enough for Dev to understand what she meant and in return he just answered that it's enough time for him ... He will be there ...

She hung up the call ..

Avni thought to keep them distracted on the ground floor itself but it was quite late he was already up luckily he still don't know where Neela is ... He was here with his wife too ... Avni was just thinking about her next move when she found her ...

Soumitra : Avni please wait there don't run from us ..

Well Avni was never planning to do that and she also guessed that she is here to play her drama game so she thought to play along ...

Avni : what are you all doing here well seeing you both like this I don't think so you are here to meet my mother after this long years ... And that too with this bozos ...

Avni said bitterly ...

Soumitra : we are here to take you Avni ... You just come with us without fussing around and we will not do anything to your Mother ... You see it depends on you Avni what you want to see your mother suffering or you want to come with us ...

Avni : what you both wanted from me ...

This time she raised her tone bit louder ...

Randhir : just come with us you little girl ... ( To his goons ) what are you waiting for christmas bring her to me ...

The goons came forward but just then they all stopped in their tracks as Avni was blocked by some well dressed bunch of bodyguards they were completely Armed and well built ... Goons ran away from their ... And Avni was still in confusion what was just happening ... just when her all confusions cleared up when a hand holded her by her waist she looked at the person standing beside her It was Neil Khanna In his classy Armani suit looking handsome like always .. Avni kept on looking at him ... And he looked back giving his famous charming smirk which rarely anyone is able to see ... And not to forget he gave her a wink too ..

Mr Khanna here is he stalking me ? Avni shh why would he be here for you are you any VVIP for him no ..

Her trance broke when Randhir shouted ..

Randhir : What the hell it is who are you get away from my way I want that girl

Neil just nodded to one of his Bodyguard to move aside .. bodyguard did as he told and move aside .. As soon as Randhir saw that these are Neil Khannas men's his words he was shell shock ...

Neil : So Mr Mehta were you troubling my friend here ... And he holded Avni's waist more tightly .. 

Randhir : Mr Khanna I have nothing to do with you it's just I want this girl she is my neice and I have few things to deal with her so get aside ..

Neil : till I am standing here with her you can't touch her a bit Mr Mehta ...

His voice was firm and authoritative ..

This all commotion was heard by Neela and with the help of Aunt Mary she limped out ...

Neela : Randhir now what you want from my daughter why are you hell bent to tourture my daughter ..

Randhir smirked as he know Avni must have not told her about the last night incident ...

Neela : Avni what's happening here ...

Avni : mumma you go in its not good for your health ...

Avni : okay mumma I will tell you ..

Avni narrated whole incident happened and introduced Neil as her friend and how he is here to help her

Well somewhere Neil didn't liked Avni calling him only her friend ...

Neela : why Randhir now what you want from me you hated me I accepted that but She is your elder brothers daughter didn't you had that feeling too ... How could you ...

He ran towards her and checked Neela ..

Smith : we need to take her to the OT now ... And Ms Avni we need you to complete some formalities ...

Neil : don't waste time think it's done just do your work ...

Wardboys came running holding stretcher and she was rushed to OT .. well as it was said think it's done Neil men's were already on duty .... Then he directed few things to his men's which means to clear up Randhir Mehta chapter ...

Then he went towards OT with Avni ..
