A lot of the times, we find ourselves longing for something, yet even though the desire for it is so strong, we don't know what it is that we are looking for. We make desperate attempts to fulfill that desire with worldly things... a relationship, alcohol, makeup, porn, writing... Anything! Yet still we feel no satisfaction.

I think we can all easily say that we have been in that very situation before, whether we realized it at the time or not. Maybe you're still in it. Well, if that's you then I just want to tell you this:

Stop. searching.

You're going to wear yourself to pieces if you continue because it's not these worldly things and possessions and feelings that you are wanting...

It's God.

It's a close, intimate relationship with Him.
It's the feeling of living with a purpose.
It's love, peace, and acceptance.
It's someone to pour out all of your deepest feelings to.
It's someone who will listen and be there always.

That's what you want.

And you are 110% worthy of that! All you have to do is stop searching at eye level and lift your head up to the skies to where it really matters. Only there will you find everything you truly want and need.
