"Hey."
Hoseok dragged Yoongi into his dorm, a wide smile plastered on his face. Even in the time of surprise, Hoseok was still happy, and it shocked Yoongi to say the least.
The dorm looked no different from the hall outside. Paint covered the walls, and even some of the carpet, the main light in the living area kept on flickering, but through out all the mess, Yoongi could tell that this was Hoseok's.
It was messy in a Hoseok way, so in Yoongi's practical eyes, that made it look beautiful.
"Oh my god, Yoongi. I thought I would never be able to talk to you again."
Hoseok was still clinging onto Yoongi's hand as he led him to the old couch that sat in the far corner of the room.
"And then you just show up in front of my dorm!" Hoseok was still smiling, but Yoongi found that it was faltering, and that there was anger in his eyes.
Of course he didn't forget. Why would he forget how Yoongi treated him?
"Why are you here?" Hoseok asked, the volume of his voice dropping lower. "Why? After all this time, and you show up now?"
Yoongi opened his mouth, but then closed it. Namjoon was right, he was scared of Hoseok.
"I-I came to apologize," He stuttered out, "I came to say sorry."
Hoseok looked at him with bright eyes, waiting for him to continue. The dim fluorescent light in the room exaggerated his features, shadows dancing across his cheekbones and the bridge of his nose.
"What I did was the biggest asshole move of the year, and at the time I thought it was okay to do it, and I'm sorry Hoseok, I'm so sorry." Yoongi found that his logical, cold heart was opening up, and it scared him.
So he stopped talking, just looking at Hoseok.
"I accept your apology." Hoseok replied, breaking out in a grin as he hugged Yoongi again.
They spent the remainder of that night in each other's arms, talking. Just talking, and being friends.
And once the door shut behind Yoongi, his heart was beating faster then usual, and he felt happy.
This time, he didn't look for a scientific explanation to what he was feeling.

That Friday, at 8:45 PM, Yoongi still received a painting. He found out that the person delivering the paintings was Park Jimin, one of Hoseok's friends.
Soon, Yoongi befriended him as well, so no mask was needed whenever Yoongi opened the door to find him standing there with another canvas.
"It looks like you're starting a collection." Jimin commented when he saw the wall.
The wall now was almost full with canvases of half painted ladies with flowers in their hair. Yoongi would've never dreamed that he would have that in his dorm, but Hoseok made them, so of course he kept them.
"Yeah, they're pretty impressive." Yoongi replied, looking at the wall beside Jimin.
"It's really sweet that you keep them." Jimin turned to Yoongi, a small smile on his face.
Jimin helped Yoongi hang up the new painting, and even accepted Yoongi's offer to stay for some tea.
He sat at the small table in the eating area, blowing softly on the tea as the stream swirled around his face. Yoongi was immersed in a medical assignment he needed to complete, leaving his tea untouched.
Jimin stood up, placing the cup on the table and going over to the paintings. He had noticed that there was always some small writing in the corner of each one. Jimin didn't know how he didn't notice them before, but as he read them, he felt his smile growing.
"He must really love you." He said quietly.
"Hm?" Yoongi looked up the textbook he was reading, looking over at Jimin.
Jimin shrugged. "It's nothing."
You are so beautiful.
