Ichor

Hisoka dodged a punch from Fukuda, the latter grinning as she continued to swing at her.

"Finally! I was getting tired of you just being a living punching bag!" The woman said, stepping back.

Hisoka sighed, glancing at her phone.

"Ah, hold on. I've gotta take this." She said, answering the call from Izuku. "What's up, Izuku?"

"Could you stop by All Might's office?" The boy asked, sounding uneasy.

"Okay?"

"Now, actually. We um.... We found something."

*One hour later....*

"You called?" Hisoka said, entering the room.

"Yes, young Chihara." All Might responded.

Next to him was a hero (Gran Torino if she remembered correctly), Izuku sitting across from them.

"Sounded urgent." Hisoka commented, sitting down.

"Well...." Izuku trailed off.

"You're about to get some sensitive information, kid." Gran Torino said bluntly. "Means you can't go yapping about it, not even to your little boyfriend!"

*A few minutes later....*

".... Okay then. That explains a few things." Hisoka said, still reeling from the information she just received.

"Yes. Now that you know about One For All, young Chihara, we can get started.... You see, recently we've been doing more research on All For One and One For All." All Might explained.

"I found this when poking around on the internet. A weird legend of some sort.... But you know how legends are, right?" Izuku said.

"However, it's in a mix of Japanese, English, and Spanish." Gran Torino said. "Midoriya said that you're an expert in all three."

Hisoka shrugged. Izuku pulled up the information on a laptop, sliding it over to her.

.

Long ago, there were the brothers, All For One and One For All.

Both brothers fought constantly. However.... There was another quirk that could rival that of All For One himself. A quirk's that rivaled both brothers, in fact:

CRIMSON ICHOR.

This was something that she, the Crimson Lady, knew well, so....

The goddess of blood had a child, passing on the quirk she treasured so dearly and all its potential.

In order to keep this great power sealed, she separated her body and spirit.

One, was locked away in a Crimson Coffin.

The other, was left with her descendents' quirks.

But....

All For One and One For All both desired this power.

Legend says that he, the Demon Lord, found the body of the Lady.

No-one has found the spirit....

It is said that-

.

"What is it?" All Might questioned.

Hisoka frowned, saying "It's incomplete. There's more to it, but it's like the second half was eliminated on purpose...."

"Right, well, I was thinking." Izuku suddenly said. "I found rumors of this mural dedicated to this 'goddess', somewhere in the woods around Sekoto Peak. I was hoping that it might be good practice for when we do get our provisional licenses!"

Hisoka rubbed the back of her neck, thinking.

".... Alright."

.

So, here they were, three days later, hiking up Sekoto Peak.

"So.... One For All, huh?" Hisoka said, glancing at Izuku.

"Y- yeah.... Actually, I had a theory." Izuku said. "We know that this, um, 'goddess' had a blood quirk, right? That means whoever has a quirk like hers would be a ninth generation quirk user."

"Which means they'd also be on a power scaling similar to Bakugo and Todoroki." Hisoka stated.

Izuku nodded, the two continuing to walk.

"And, it got me thinking.... Maybe that's why All For One was after you." Izuku theorized.

"It makes sense," Hisoka said thoughtfully. "He probably can't get to the body without the blood of one of the Crimson Lady's descendents. It's only logical.... I don't get why he thought it was me though."

Izuku hummed in thought.

"Then there's the name of the quirk." Hisoka mumbled. "Ichor.... That's what you'd call the blood of the gods in Greek mythology...."

"You don't think this person was, like, an actual goddess, right?" Izuku asked nervously.

"I mean.... Anything's possible, right? Quirks had to come from somewhere, so...." Hisoka responded.

"Yeah, okay, but still! Just the thought that there was an actual goddess walking among people back then is a horrifying thought! Could you imagine how powerful she must've been?!" Izuku rambled.

Yeah, she had thought about it. Somehow, between abilities that could turn you to dust, keep you alive for centuries, and even ones that create explosions, gods and goddesses don't seem too far off. Especially not given the fact that All For One and One For All even existed. Was the thought that there was truly some sort of higher power really that intimidating anymore?

"Hey, I think I see something up ahead!" Izuku yelled.

Looking forward, Hisoka spotted a section of the mountain that had been lined off with black salt. Izuku and Hisoka stared.

".... You first." She suddenly said.

"Wha- me?! Heck no! This looks like a trap!"

"Exactly! Plus, if someone set up a barrier made of salt, then...."

"There's something they really don't want getting in. Or, even worse, something getting out."

The two stayed there for a decent few minutes, before Hisoka sighed. She carefully stepped over the line, a shudder running through her.

"Alright, it's safe." She said, waving him over. "Feels weird as hell though."

Izuku stepped through, shivering.

"You ever get that feeling that you shouldn't be somewhere?" Izuku asked her.

"Yeah.... Let's make this quick."

The two continued their trek through the woods, constantly looking over their shoulders. Izuku and her were both on edge. Maybe it was just something about the area, but.... It felt almost like they were being watched.

".... Hey, Hiso-"

Izuku suddenly went quiet.

"Izuku? You were gonna say something?"

Hisoka turned around, paling when Izuku was nowhere in sight. Hisoka took a breath to steady herself.

"Snap out of it, Hisoka. There's no such things as monsters, there's no such things as monsters, there's no such-"

She bumped into something, looking up. She paled, seeing a massive black nomu glaring down at her, multiple things trapped on its body, including Izuku.

"Fuck my life." She muttered, right as a fist came down on her face.
