... With Roses
Cho made her way to the Astronomy tower. The events a few minutes prior playing through her mind on the constant. She wasn't sure what had happened but she knew she had done something rather strange.
'Why did I jump to his rescue? Agh!' She sat down with a sigh as she looked up.
Sure she said she was going to class, but she was just not in the mood. Who would be? There were so many things running through her mind. After dinner she had Astronomy with Slytherins. Not that she had a problem with it. Of course she didn't. She had a problem with who her partner was. None other than Theodore Nott. She had to keep her mind clear. They came up with this plan for a reason. And they were so close to pulling the whole thing off.

"Hey Cedric."
"Oh hey Cho. Something I can help you with?" Cedric smiled even though he looked disappointed.
"I just wanted to talk to you. Alone please." Cho said playing with her hair.
"What do you want to talk about?" Cedric asked.
He sat up from his lying position since he was goofing around with his friends on the lawn. They all started wolf whistling and laughing. He turned to them and shook his head with a playful frown.
"Guys stop it you're making her nervous." He said.
They laughed again. "We're not doing that for her. Look out here comes Potter."
Cedric's head snapped in the direction his friends pointed. Cho turned around. Sure enough Harry was heading their way. Cedric started fidgeting and he scolded his friends again. Cho could see the excitement in Cedric's eyes. She couldn't manage to get anything out or say what she wanted. Harry reached them and smiled just as Cho was about to talk again.
"Hey Cedric. A word please. About the tournament." Harry said with a half smile.
Cedric's friends started teasing him. Cedric stood up and stepped to the side. He motioned with his hand in front of him for Harry to walk forward first.
"When are those two going to finally get together."
"Yeah Cedric's been drooling over the boy since he came to Hogwarts."
"Don't forget how he scolded us for teasing him."
"You think he's going to ask Potter to the ball?"
Cedric's friends went on. Cho got angry at them all and she stormed off. Cedric wouldn't even get up for her but happily went off with Harry. She hated that. She felt like a total fool.
'What's so great about Harry anyway. He's a guy. And he's not even that good looking. I'm way hotter.' She thought with a burning passion as she went to her dorm. She wanted to cry. She wondered what it would take for Cedric to finally notice her.

Cho sighed forcing herself from the memory. She hated Harry for that. The worst thing was that Cedric had died during the final stage of the tournament. She blamed Harry for that as well. Even though logically she knew it wasn't his fault. The tournament was dangerous, everyone knew that.
There was a noise that shook her from her thoughts completely. She laid flat on her back to look at the steps. Theodore emerged and stopped at the top. He looked at her then to the sides.
"Sorry. Didn't realize you were here. Since you are. It's time for dinner if you want to head down." Theodore said with a half smile.
"Are you not going to eat?" Cho asked.
As if on cue Theodore's stomach rumbled. He gave an awkward smile before shrugging and helping Cho off the floor. He couldn't deny being hungry now since his stomach so rudely gave it away. Even if he just planned on hiding out until Astronomy. The two walked to the Great Hall together without another word. Both off in their own worlds and thoughts.
Crabbe and Goyal had just been up to their usual. Every other student would tell you they were too stupid to understand anything beyond their designated jobs. And every other student would be correct. They couldn't understand that Draco replaced them because he couldn't have a decent conversation without either of them getting lost along the way. He was extremely lucky if he managed a decent conversation with just one. They were diabolical and sneaky with plans, but that was the extent of their usefulness. So whatever they did no one really cared. Of course to them it wasn't a matter of conversation. The most they could understand was that Draco replaced them without any real reason. They would argue that until they were dead.
The two had already started putting into action their plan to break apart the group of friends. It was brilliant really. At least according to their minds. A simple game of he said - she said.
*~*
"I'm tired of the two of you. Like mindless robots. We're only friends because of my father. Anyway I'm going to be spending more of my time with Blaise and Pansy."
"What do you mean Draco?"
"Crabbe I think he doesn't want to be our friend."
Draco shook his head. "I never said that."
"Yes you did!" Crabbe cried out.
"No. I simply said I'm going to spend more time with my other friends." Draco rolled his eyes.
"He's replacing us!" Goyal yelled.
"I'm not!" Draco replied. "I am allowed to have other friends. Besides you guys always twist what I say."
Crabbe frowned. "We're not twisted."
Draco slapped his forehead. "Listen to me. Listen closely. I. Am. Not. Replacing. You. I. Am. Simply. Sharing. My. Time. Differently. Okay."
Goyal frowned. "Wait did you say we were mindless?"
Draco sighed defeated. "I'm going to find Blaise."
"Why?" Crabbe asked.
"I would like to spend time with my other friends." Draco answered bored.
"But we're your friends." Goyal said.
Draco rolled his eyes and walked away. Crabbe and Goyal looked at each other then to the common room entrance. They looked at each other again.
"Did he just replace us?" Goyal asked.
"Do we follow him?" Crabbe asked.
They sat there not knowing what to do before getting up and going after Draco. They found him in the Great Hall laughing with Pansy and Blaise. Anger boiled up in both of them. Each drawing the same conclusion. 'Draco replaced us.' Of course they were horribly wrong.

Ginny made her way to dinner after she woke. As she walked the halls she started to realize just how much she really didn't want to be in a relationship of any sort. She gagged at the couple's she passed. Silently she started thanking Harry for being gay.
"Saved me from a lifetime of disgust." Ginny mumbled to herself as she pushed open the doors.
She scanned the Hall and almost threw up in her mouth. The more she thought about it and saw it the more she hated it. She hated the idea of dating and relationships in general. She didn't think about it before. But since the whole "Harry being a baby and in love with Draco" thing she slowly started realizing it.
She sat down at the end of the table alone. Deciding not to look up from her plate. She started questioning herself as she picked at her food. Laughter and happiness filled the Hall. She tuned out most of it managing to focus on one specific group. Her thoughts retreating back to before she fell asleep.
'Am I really feeling bad for what I'm about to do? No I'm not. Whatever he's happy so what? He's in a relationship that's worse. How is it I used to believe in love ew? Younger me was totally stupid. Relationships? No thanks. Maybe I shouldn't just break up Harry and Malfoy. There are couples all over this damn school.' Her thoughts started stumbling over themselves with no clear track. She got angry with herself for allowing her thoughts to stray from her goal.
She headed up to the common room as soon as she was done. Scolding herself all the way there. She was being stupid for allowing stupid relationships to ruin her mood. They were pointless no matter who was involved in them. Her goal was to destroy one relationship. She hoped that like dominoes every other relationship would fail. After all, everyone in the Wizarding world looked up to their 'saviour'.
"Even if only Draco gets affected. It will destroy Harry and their relationship. So I don't see the downfall in loosing one rose." Ginny sighed.
She flunked herself on her bed and started casting random spells. A few minutes later she wrote a letter to owl to her mother and then she went to the common room. She was sitting alone when she heard a kind of shriek. Seamus marched into the common room gripping a rose.
"Stupid asshole thinks he can get flowers from people behind my back." Seamus mumbled as he tossed the rose into the fire.
Ginny vaguely recognized that rose as the one meant for Harry. She realized she must have left it on Neville's bed instead. She thought of correcting Seamus' mindset, but decided against it when she realized she could destroy another relationship as a bonus.
"Must be cheating on you too if that's the case." She mumbled loud enough for Seamus to hear.
Seamus ran up to his dorm and Ginny smiled at herself. 'If I knew it would be that easy I would have done it so long ago. If the foundation is rocky then success will have a greater chance.' If Neville and Seamus break up over a misplaced rose then Harry and Draco won't survive the effects of a strategically placed rose.
