The Deal...
Ginny and Cho were sitting in the library finishing off notes for homework. They weren't working with the same stuff of course, but it was a way they could quietly go through what needed to be done. Ginny wanted to look like the hero. She was going to be the one who "found" Harry. She was going to accuse one of his friends. It seemed perfect. However, she feared she may have done something wrong. Harry had left his room easily and by himself during his free period. She was certain she put the rose on the right bed.
"Ginny!?" Cho whisper yelled.
Ginny blinked. "Yeah."
"You okay?" Cho asked.
"Yeah just wondering." Ginny smiled.
Cho nodded and went back to her book. She was reading the same paragraph repeatedly. She was unknowingly thinking about the same thing Ginny was. 'Why had Harry simply walked away?' Ginny had told everyone what happened with Harry. She had even checked the room after and the rose was gone. Of course she didn't go inside. Had Ginny entered the room and checked she would have found the rose in Harry's trash can on the opposite side of his bed.
Cho got up and made her way to the shelves. Perhaps this thing with Harry's rose was bothering her more than Ginny. Theodore walked into the library and stopped next to Cho. Once Cho found what she wanted they went back to the table. Theodore not saying a word to either. He silently took out his work. The girls had a study session scheduled and he was skipping class. Not in the mood to face the couple he saw looking rather shagged in potions class.
"Ginny what spell did you use?" Cho asked not looking up from the book.
"Norų įpareigojimas. It's a Desire Binding spell. Why?" Ginny responded.
Cho flipped the pages until she found what she was looking for. She scanned the page before turning back to Ginny. She laid the book out for both Theodore and Ginn to see. Then pointed at a list of steps.
"Did you follow each step?" Cho asked.
They went over the steps twice before Ginny groaned. She pointed at a step closer to the end. Explaining that she left it out.
Allow the petals of the flower (if one is used) to rest in the Amortentia for 30 minutes.
"I'm going to fetch Draco's." Theodore said and left.
Cho and Ginny sat discussing their next move for Harry. They needed him out of the picture for Draco's to take full effect. They decided on redoing his one and giving it to him. That was their best option. Theodore returned just as they finished their idea.
"Here. Fix it." Theodore growled.
"Hey relax. Look we're going to redo Harry's. Mind finding us another rose?" Cho smiled.
Theodore rolled his eyes and left the library. He headed out towards the garden. When he got there he slowed his pace. He heaved out a sigh and kicked a stone. His mind running off in two directions. One focused on Draco and the other on something he didn't want to think about at the moment.
*~*
"Draco please can you just hear me out?"
"Go away Theodore. Just leave!" Draco threw a pillow in his direction.
"Draco I'm sorry I thought..." Theodore stared.
"I believe he told you to leave Nott."
Theodore growled. "No one asked you Zabini."
Blaise rolled his eyes. "Leave before I test my new hex on you Nott."
Theodore stormed out of the dorm room. He marched towards the Great Hall but changed course halfway there. He needed to clear his head. He knew Draco was gay. He knew Draco had a crush on someone. He thought that someone was him. So he went for it. He kissed Draco and Draco freaked. That wasn't what he was wanting. He groaned as he sat down.
"Harry!"
The voice rung out as he looked up. And then the dots connected. Theodore growled again out of frustration. He looked up to find Longbottom and Potter talking about something.
'What is soo great about that asshole.' Theodore thought bitterly, wishing Potter would die.
He watched as Potter smiled and joked with Longbottom. He could barely hear what they were saying. He had however figured out their topic. A certain Slytherin who he had kissed.
*~*
Theodore shook his head, shaking away the thoughts that came with his memories. He hated a lot of what had happened. He shook his head again. 'Get the damn flower get back.' He chanted in his mind. He approached a rose bush. His mind subconsciously making a comparison between the roses and another person. He picked one carefully then made his way to the dungeons to fetch the rose ment for Draco. He then made his way back to the library. He got there and sat quietly as he observed the girls. Mind wondering onto different things and topics far from his previous ramblings.
Ginny took the roses from Theodore not bothering about the force. Theodore hissed when the Thorn cut his hand. His head snapped towards Ginny and he growled. Cho instinctively threw an Episkey at his hand. She Poured out the Amortentia Crabbe stole for her and moved the bowls over towards Ginny. They went through each step accurately and slowly just to make sure they didn't miss anything. When they were done the roses changed colour again. Draco's became a pale pink and Harry's was a pale blue. Ginny frowned at the rose with a feeling that something was amiss.
"I'll take that." Theodore said yanking the rose from Ginny's hand.
The thorn cut her hand and she hissed. "The hell Nott."
Theodore smirked. "Payback is a bitch. See ya."
"Asshole is lucky we put a blocking spell over the enchantment." Ginny mumbled.
"You should have been gentle as well." Cho said. "I'll see you at dinner. Already late for my next class."
Cho left Ginny by herself. Ginny shook her head and sighed she really didn't want to go to class. She hadn't felt up to it ever since seeing how happy Harry was. She heaved a sigh as she got up and left the library. She believed she had matured but she realized she wasn't showing it. The plan was now seeming so silly.
'And for what was this anyway? I wasn't going to end up with Harry by the end. When we succeed Harry would be forever lost in a coma state. Theodore would get who he wanted so badly, sure, but it would be one sided and totally heartless. I would still have to move on from the idea of being with the man I have an arranged marriage with anyway.' Her thoughts stampeded her as she made her way back to Gryffindor tower.
No she was not going to attend classes today either. She would just have to owl her mother and ask for some ridiculous excuse. She'd have to be hopeful that Mcgonagall would accept it as well.
Ginny groaned. She went to her dorm and threw her bag down. None of the other girls would care anyway. They were scared of her. She pondered placing the rose for a moment longer before she made her way to the boys dorm. She ducked inside to place the rose. Halfway to Harry's bed there was a noise. She freaked dropping the rose on the nearest bed and running out. Getting caught was not an option. She almost ran right into Seamus.

"Oh Ginny sweetie I believe you are of the proper age now to understand. You can't go around dating boys."
"But why mum?" Ginny asked.
Molly smiled. "You are to be betrothed to Harry Potter. The saviour of the Wizarding world. His title will give us all the leverage we need in the world. We will be famous. And you will be rich."
"But mum what about love?" Ginny frowned.
"That hardly matters. As long as we are on top. Love will come eventually. Maybe with someone else. But you needn't worry about that. Harry Potter will be your husband. And by any luck you only have to put up with him until He Who Must Not Be Named deals with it."
Ginny frowned. She knew her family played nice with everyone. She knew they just wanted status. What she didn't understand was the lengths they would go to. Her brother Ron always complained about Harry. He didn't like the muggle they were supposed to be friends with. Next year she would be attending Hogwarts. But she didn't really share her family views.

Ginny sighed as she laid on her bed. 'Does it really matter now?' She thought as she slowly fell asleep. She didn't see the harm in a few more hours of rest. Nothing was the same for her since Ron got sent to Azkaban. She feared nothing would ever be the same unless she married Harry James Potter. She let out a heavy breath as she dozed off. Not ever wanting to wake again.
