I had swimming, Ash and Ryder had basketball (No shit look at their fucking heights), Violet had soccer and Diya to my surprise had boxing. Apparently Ash had suggested she join the team and guess what she is now one of the only three girls on the team.

So if you haven't already guessed it was the fourth period which was allotted to all the clubs and sports groups and all these people got the fifth period which was right after lunch free. So all of us basically had three non-study periods.

'Yayyyy'

Dunkers at least try to act mature.

We were in the cafeteria, it was lunch my table which usually held me, Diya and Violet was a hell lot more crowded now.

The moment Sofia had met Diya and Violet it was like deja vu cause Violet had apparently been allotted again to take care of the new student, so the moment Sofia entered cafeteria, with Mason her cousin I might add, was instantly hogged in the corner by Violet, who was now actually suggesting Sofia that hair would look awesome in blue.

So that was five people and Mason looked pretty uncomfortable with only girls at all sides but Diya whispered to me that this guy had never actually entered the lunchroom before this day. Weird.

Then Ash and Ryder came strolling through the doors, covered in a sheen of sweat looking like they just got out of a commercial for some sports brand and saw us sitting at this corner table. Ryder instantly pushed another four-seater table and joined it with ours and both of them joined us at our table

After another few minutes came a very distracted looking Andrew and started towards his usual table only to notice it was empty at the last minute.

He scanned the cafeteria and spotted us and joined us.

So this table now officially held eight people.

I was sitting between Ash and Diya. Ryder was telling us how he dared this guy to go headfirst in the wall for the third time this month when Ash very covertly (but not covertly enough to escape my notice) motioned Sofia to follow him. I ignored this little act between them and concentrated on my pizza.

After a few seconds, Ash said "I am going to get my phone, I left it in the locker."

I narrowed my eyes at him but his face was completely emotionless but I had a strong feeling that he was lying.

He left the table.

Ryder was having a conversation with Sofia and she was way distracted to pay attention. Ryder noticed this, he looked in my direction and raised an eyebrow at me, I shrugged my shoulders and looked at Sofia. She hadn't even noticed that Ryder had stopped talking, no one else was paying attention towards us.

Something was up with her, she had seemed nervous at the Starbucks this morning as well, and in the car, she had kept her mouth shut as well.

I moved my hand and placed it on top of hers, she flinched at this movement and looked me in the eyes horrified of something.

"What's up Sof?" I asked her really quietly so no one would here us. She gave me a super nervous laugh and shook her head.

Okay, she was definitely hiding something.

She looked at Ryder who had seen this exchange and asked, "What were you saying?"

Ryder looked at her, concern in his eyes but started talking again.

I was sitting in the middle of an argument between Diya and Andrew, who was now sitting next to me now that Ash was gone.

"But how do you survive?" he asked Diya.

They were having a conversation or more like Andrew was trying to get Diya to eat his chicken burger and she looked like she could punch him in the face.

"By eating pure vegetarian food," she said back. They were both leaning near my face to talk to each other.

"So that means you don't eat any junk FOOD," Andrew said dramatically throwing his hands up.

"All junk food is not non-veg you idiot," Diya said equally dramatically.

"Oh come on you know what I mean," he whined.

"Actually no I don't," Diya said turning her face to her food.

"Uhh just try it once," Andrew said picking up a slice of his pepperoni pizza and moving it towards Diya.

Diya instantly backed up in the wall.

"Take this away from me now." she hissed at him.

O o the whole cafe was looking at our table silently now.

"Oh come on just one bite, you will love it," Andrew got up as well and moved a bit closer to her.

I think the whole cafeteria was watching this wide-eyed including us on the table.

"No I refuse to eat anything that once walked before," she said glaring at him.

We were watching the conversation as if watching a table tennis match.

"Come on, Diya, don't be ridiculous." oh oh bad move Andrew, he moved his hand forward which was just above me now.

Diya's eyes shone with pure anger.

I stood up quickly and took a really large bite from that slice and put my fist at Andrew's stomach covertly backing him off.

"Happy now." I almost shouted at him and pushed his shoulders down and made him sit.

There was a collective sigh of relief. Diya went back to her Salad and Andrew muttered something about intruding people. I sighed.

How have I gotten in the middle of such a weird group, I had no idea.

Sofia then got up from the table and said she was going to the bathroom to no one in particular nervously.

And strutted outside the Cafe and in the absolutely wrong direction.

That's when my phone pinged. I took it out and saw a message from an unknown number.

Unknown no. - I assume you know all about me by now.
