Simply Rain

The sky
leans to kiss
with white moistened lips
the luscious green curves
of Earth
gray hair threads
fairly intertwined
in the wooden leafy fingers
of a sleeping giant girl.

In the island's goddess
virginal chores
pure the skin
masked in clay and moss
where rivers are born
and the ocean's salty hands
can't reach.
