I am under ethereal lights,
Like stars at their greatest heights.
With my mind blown to bits,
I carry on through this.

Laying on the surface, I am atop
With time that will never stop.
But in this moment, I take a breath,
Time hears my voice and takes a rest
So I can relish forever in the sea overhead
And count the things I see that time had left.

Then I enter the world of dreams
Seeing things of greater beings.
Though I am there in mind and spirit,
This world's hidden like all my secrets.

I dream on with every piece of me,
Yet when I wake I am still flying
And I find that I'm no longer dying.
