Since all of Rey's ladies were getting ready themselves for the jubilee so one of her maids was helping her.

"Simple makeup is the way to go" the maid said "it's about the jewels and the gowns, not the makeup" she laughed.

"Thank you Miranda" Rey said as she felt a brush sweep across her face.

"So for your hair do you have any ideas you want?" She asked Rey.

"No, no clue" Rey replied "just, do whatever you think I would look best in"

"Wonderful!" She squealed "your highness I've been dying to get my hands on your hair for ages ! It's so long and thick and healthy"

Ben stood in the hallway, waiting for Rey, he couldn't go in yet he was now a married man and young in without his wife would he almost embarrassing. It was their first event as a royal married couple and he needed to show his people he and her were in fact a united force and would be together.

He watched as Rose and Finn had entered the ballroom. She and he sported amethyst colors and jewels.

She wore a deep purple colored gown that was off the shoulders. It was a full skirt with a second skirt shown with vines sewn on. Little crystals and gems made up the leaves and flowers of the vines. She had a gold belt in the middle to show off her waist.

Her hair was in a braided bun with little curls in the front and her bangs freshly cut. Since she was lady in waiting she was allowed to wear a small tiara to an event. It was gold and had actual amethyst crystals pointing up on it.

Finn wore a dark suit with purple detailing and his medals. He had bowtie of the same material as Rose's dress on.

After they entered it was Gwen and Hux's turn. She looked stunning as her blonde hair was braided to wrap around her head with sliver crown with aquamarine jewels sculpted in.

Her dress was long and full, like Rose but instead it had long sleeves that reached her wrist, and a higher neckline.

It had jewels all over the bodice of the gown with some of the dress having stones littered about.

Hux's red hair was done perfectly and it looked stunning in the contrast of the aquamarine the couple wore.

Next was Jessika and Poe, the two looking absolutely darling in citrine. Her dress was long, full and had tons ruffles along the edges and such.

It reached all the way to her elbows yet showed off her cleavage that was much more prominent due to her impending motherhood.

Her hair was done in a braid with yellow stone pinned in and a small crown of sliver. Poe looked handsome in his suit with yellow accents and fixtures.

Ben walked back and forth in the hall waiting for her. He was dressed in black with green accents and a emerald sash on, and his matching medals from his feats.

He bite his nails as he waited for her. Did she see him and think he looked hideous? Or that he was over dressed ?

The nerves were getting the best of him and then suddenly he saw Rey. "wow" he whispered to himself as she walked to him.

Rey was confident in her stride "hi, do I look okay ?" She asked, his gaze seemed fixed and almost hazy.

"You look" he looked at her up and down, taking in her ensemble. A large green dress that was full. It was off the shoulder, and had layers of skirts that had emeralds sewn in it. She wore her hair in one long thick braids with small braids littered into the larger braid, white flowers were placed in the braid. She finished it off with her wedding ring, simple emerald drop earrings and a sliver tiara with emeralds laced in.

"You look stunning Rey, absolutely fantastic" he finished.

"Thank you" she blushed "you look very handsome as well"

The party was in full swing, Rey and Ben were meeting guests and doing the royal rounds, speaking to anyone of importance.

They had separated as Rose went to take Rey to meet her mother. Rose's mother had excused herself and the two stood next to each other.

"So, when is that wedding bed of yours going to have the covers pulled off ?" Rose asked.

"I don't know" Rey sighed "I don't know what to do anymore. I've tried everything" she said as Jessika and Gwen walked over.

"How about you pretend your pregnant and then he'll have to explain how to get pregnant and then you could have him teach you" Gwen smirked.

"Ha ha very funny" Rey said back with her eyes rolling.

"Well you need to soon" Jessika said "your estate needs it and so does your marriage, you wouldn't want him to find comfort in the arms of another woman"

Suddenly a woman walked through the doors , she stood out. Dark black hair that was loose and straight. A sigh of an unmarried and untamed woman.

She had dark makeup on and blood red lips that fell into a pout. Her dress was extremely revealing, causing many women to scoff and men to stare.

Her blood red dress had a plunging neckline that went past her breast, there was slit at the legs and showed off her toned tan legs.

She wore extremely high sexy heels that wrapped around her ankle and a ruby red bracelet.

It was disrespectful. No women of the court could wear rubies the first 2 years of the newly wedded royal couple, and no woman should wear her hair down without a braid or something.

And her makeup was far to heavy to be noble. She was making a statement, a statement that often women who wanted to be a royal mistress made. A statement that she intended Ben to be hers.

"Arms of another, like her" Jessika said.

"Who is she ?" Rey asked.

"Bazine Netal, Ben's first love" Rose said softly. Rey sighed and felt tears bubbling at her eyes.
