~Years later in Karmas POV~

I'm turning 12 because my birthday is today. I hope Nagisa will come this year too, he always gives the best gifts! Tho my birthday is on Christmas he doesn't mind and comes anyways. I went to go ask my parents when he was coming, but they look at each other with sorrow filled eyes...

"Nagisa's....Not coming....ever...."

"Ever? What do you mean ever?"

"Well We Just spoke with Nagisa's mom and... She's planning on erasing some of Nagisa's memories of his father and... some of them are Nagisa talking to you about his father so... she's erasing you of his memories too..."

Tears filled my eyes everything got blurry

"B-but what about our promise!?"

"We're so sorry Karma..."

I ran to my room, worst birthday ever! I look for something to remind me of Nagisa and I found just the thing...

~Flashback~

"I got you something Nagi"

"I told you to stop calling me that"

"Ha never! But seriously I got you this"

I pulled out a necklace that had a red sun and a blue moon making a purple star and a silver chain connected it all together. And it had Nagisa in blue at the bottom.

"How much did this cost"

"I don't wanna tell you"

"You know how I feel when you use money on me!"

"Why I would buy the world for you!"

Nagisa giggles

"Your so lucky I actually bought some for you too, I'm not as rich as you so don't expect anything grand. I bet you already have this but I tried!"

He handed me a golden ring with a half blue moon and a half red sun with purple connecting them together. It could open up, inside there was a picture of the both of us.

"Took me doing a lot of choirs and helping people out to even get the ring not to mention someone putting the picture in there"

"You did all that for me..."

"Yeah your my bff right!"

"I'm never ever gonna take it off"

"Then I'll never take this off."

"Deal?"

"Deal!"

~End of Flash back~

I'll never take this ring off never! Even if you don't remember me, or the promise I'll keep it...

~Nagisa's POV in dream~

It's so bright and cozy here like a bright blanket that's wrap all around me.

But suddenly I see Karma?

What's he doing here!

He's holding someone's hand...

It's my dad!

But he's dead...

"Nagisa..."

"Who's there!"

"It's us."

"Karma and dad but why?"

"Your gonna forget us soon..."

"But I don't wanna forget you guys!"

"Maybe one day you'll remember us, but for now... Just know we love you."

"Wait why am I going to forget you guys...

I don't want to forget you guys...

Please don't leave me..."

Everything goes dark and cold.

"Who am I again...?

Nagisa shiota.

11 soon to be 12"

I kept asking myself questions until I got to 2 questions that confused me...

"Who's my father...?

I-I don't know?

Who's my best friend...?

I-I don't have one?

That's weird I swear I had one-"

I was quick to realize that I was being shook awake...

~Still Nagisa's POV just end of the dream~

"M-mom?"

"Yes sweetie"?

"Nothing I was just wondering why you woke me up?"

"Oh I just had a question for you"

"Well what is it?"

"Do you have a best friend I was just wondering if you got along well with anyone"

"N-no not really I talk to some kids at school but that's it..."

"Oh? I was just wondering..."

"Can I ask you a question..."

"Go ahead"

"Where's dad and why can't I remember him?"

"Well I guess your old enough to know... your dad walked out on you and me... He was a horrible man and he left you when you were little"

"Oh... sorry for asking"

"No it's okay sweetheart why don't we go downstairs and have a nice little Christmas dinner"

"That sounds great mom"

Something about that story about dad sounds... I can't explain it, but somethings up...
