"Ugh, he skipped the first day of school? Really?" I look around with a sigh. "That motherfu-"

"Stop looking for him." Jax sighed. "I thought you weren't talking?"

"Well... We're not. But I still just wanna know if he's ok.." I rub my arm a bit. 

Ari ran up and smacked her hands on our shoulders. "Hello."

I let out a scream before giggling. "Hey!!" Jax smiled and hummed at her

We all hug and smile, greeting each other. 

"Celeste who are you looking for?" Ari asked. 

"Nobodyyyyyyy....." 

"You-know-who." Jax rolled her eyes. "And she needs to stop."

I pout. "I'm not looking for anyone!!" I cross my arms, making a pouty lip. 

Jax flicked my nose. "Quit. Stop looking for him. He's an ass, always will be, and you're too good for him. Ok?"

I sigh, smiling some. Jax always did know how to tell it to me straight. "Alright, alright, I'll stop looking." I hug her gently

She smiled and patted my head. "Good girl."

I walked through the lunch line, giddy. The first day of high school seemed.... Really awesome, actually! There wasn't anything for me to fear. Me, Jax, and ari all had a bunch of classes together. Obviously, we recruited together at lunch and hung out. 

"So today has been awesome so far." I grin at them

"Mhm!" Jax hummed, nomming at her food. 

Ari giggled some. "Yes, it has."

I smile and continue eating lunch with my two favorite people. This was gonna be my year.
