A few weeks later, NO POV

It wasn't long until Reaper hunted down the "Death in White" or "Reaper Wearing White" as he heard them being called. He finds someone matching the description in Farmtale of all AUs, helping Farmer plant new crops. He watches from the shadows of some trees, finding that his brother's description is right. He doesn't look close to being an adult, let alone the god of death that reaps souls as he is mistaken to be. He looks like an innocent boy in an AU he doesn't belong in. He wears a white cloak with a black shirt underneath and some slippers or shorts. He only has one eye visible and a big smile as he holds the red scarf around his neck and his pearly white wings flap behind him.

The sight of that scarf makes Reaper frown, gripping his portion of Geno's scarf around his wrist. It reminds him why he came looking for this boy. Yet before he can plan to confront the boy, he hears a nearby conversation and goes closer to hear it. It could be valuable information.

Horror works with Farmer in another field, collecting crops as the boy Reaper recognizes as the "Death in White" plants some distance away.

"So, about him...What do you know about that boy?"Farmer asks

"Is something wrong? Error wanted me to look after him while he handles Ink."Horror says

"No, of course not. He's a really good kid, very nice. I'm just wondering if you know his circle. Does he have any friends? Any family to be with when Error's busy?"Farmer asks

"I am his family. Well, he considers me family. He calls me his uncle, after all. I know the gang also looks after him, but he considers them Error's friends more than anything. He considers Blue an uncle, too...Come to think of it, I'm not sure if he has made any friends. He's so busy trying to protect his dad and help out that I don't think he has time to make any. And with his reputation connected to his dad's, I don't think it's easy to make many..."Horror explains

"What about the other parent?"

"They're...not in the picture. It's complicated but Error's the only parent he knows of. And Error works very hard to take care of him. I see him reading parenting guides all the time and trying to learn cooking from me so that he can give his son a healthy diet that doesn't just consist of chocolate. Error doesn't really talk about the other parent either aside from mentioning that he won't trust to leave his son in his care and something about an abandoned promise."Horror explains

"Sounds like the other parent went to get milk and never came back."Farmer says

"Yeah, which must've hurt Error a lot, honestly. You know how hard it is to gain his trust. And for someone to get so close to him that he has a child with them without him immediately crashing or seeking to get rid of them, that must take a lot of trust and care. It's hard to become an anomaly that he cares about or contradict his views of the multiverse, so to convince him to add to the multiverse's amount of souls must've meant a lot. So for them to just leave afterward is pretty shitty, and I can't believe someone would take advantage of him like that. Yeah, he's a destroyer, but nobody can be a perfect saint to get as close as they did to him."Horror says

"That's true. Error has sacrificed a lot for that boy. I can only imagine what the other parent has been doing without care."

"Perhaps leaving more broken souls behind after fooling them too. There's probably a whole trail of them. Maybe they took inspiration from Ink to leave a trail of abandoned children, if they even remember Error or their son."Horror says

"Well, at least he has Error. Come on, let's go store these crops."Farmer says

Horror nods, marching away with the crops.

Reaper waits a few minutes before leaving his spot to confront the boy planting crops.

"Excuse me..."He says

Goth turns around, facing him. He sees Reaper hovering above the ground and smiles.

"Hello! How can I help you?"He asks

Reaper tenses up, stepping back slightly. For a moment, he saw Geno smiling at him sweetly instead of Goth.

"How does he have Geno's smile...?"He mutters

"Sir? How can I help?"Goth asks innocently

"Don't you know who I am?"He asks

"You look like that nice Papyrus that flew with me the other day. He wore a cloak like you do."Goth replies

"You have something that doesn't belong to you."He says, pointing to Goth's scarf.

Goth frowns, holding it tighter.

"I think you're mistaken. This is rightfully mine since it's my papa's and my papa gave it. Go get your own."He says

"Well, then your dad's a thief."Reaper says

"Well, you're trespassing onto property so I suggest that you leave."He says, turning to leave

Reaper frowns, reaching to grab Goth, but an axe whizzes past Goth, pinning Reaper to a tree by his wings.

"Goth! Get away from him now!"Horror snaps as Reaper rips the axe out.

"Huh?"Goth says

"That's Death! Don't let him touch you! Get over here!"Horror snaps

Reaper stares in shock as Goth soars over to Horror, who pulls the boy behind him protectively. How does this boy have the name that he and Geno agreed on for their son? Could that be...? But how..?

"Get lost, Death! You're not touching him!"Horror snaps

Reaper frowns, yet decides to retreat...out of sight. He wants to see what will happen.

"What was he bothering you about?"Horror asks

"My scarf. He said it doesn't belong to me. He accused Papa of stealing it. Does he even know Papa?"He says

"Death is known to be sleep-deprived and delusional. He probably doesn't know what he's talking about. But that just makes him even more dangerous. Don't let him near you again."Horror says

"Yes, Uncle Horror."Goth says, nodding.

"Let me handle this with your papa because he may panic if he hears this from you."Horror says as Goth nods.

Then a portal opens, and Reaper watches Error walk through it and greet them. He sees Error readjust his glasses as he munches on some chocolate, smiling at Goth. His soul misses a beat as he sees Geno in Error. Geno's smile and the melody of his laugh are now warped in Error's chuckle as Goth talks to him. Now it's starting to connect. The name, Goth having his looks and scarf, Horror's conversation, and now what he sees in Error. Goth's his living son and Error is Geno. But how? What happened to Geno?

"GoTh, I tHinK i hAvE s0m3tHiNg t0 diScUsS wiTh y0u."Error says

"What is it, Papa?"Goth asks as Horror returns to helping Farmer.

"HoW w0ulD y0u feEl aBouT beInG aN olDeR bRoThEr?"He asks

That broke Reaper's soul. Has he already moved on?

"What?"Goth says

"LeT's g0 hoMe t0 taLk."He says, leading Goth through the portal
