A week or two later, Reaper's POV

It's been great so far but not so different from before. We're going through the same routine as before but I'm able to be more affectionate with him and get more cuddles from him, with his permission of course. Sometimes he surprises me while working by dropping through a portal using his strings, hanging upside down to kiss me before zipping away. He has also grown more comfortable with teasing me. Still, our relationship is a dream come true.

Today I'm staying home with Shino while Glitchy's out destroying AUs. She comes to me with the box hidden in Error's closet. She sits beside me with a smile as she opens it without hesitation. She shows me each one and explains the details of when he made them or why. I chuckle at how she knew all this. Guess she caught him more than he'd like.

"And why are you showing me these? Did he tell you to do this?"

"I thought you'd like to see them! It's not like you'd be upset or mock him for it. No...But he has nothing to worry about! You were his puppet from Dream, right? So you kind of have an idea with his attachment to puppets anyway."She says

Such a mischievous little girl. She's clever, yet doesn't realize that I already know about them.

Then she lifts some puppets from her pockets.

"I'm even practicing to make my own!"She says

"These look wonderful, sweetie."I say, gently holding them closer.

She has her own unique stitching pattern compared to Error's, making me smile.

"What else do you know?"I ask

"A lot more than you think. Papa does more than cook and watch his show."She giggles

"Interesting...How much do I pay you for the info?"I say jokingly

"And betray Papa's trust? Never!"She says

"You're currently revealing one of his secrets and admit that he paid you with a doll to keep quiet so..."I say

"Good point...I'll get back to you on that, Dad."She giggles.

Smart choice.

She continues showing her progress with her puppets and even picks some from Error's box to examine and see where she could improve. I smile, watching her try to copy his stitching for one of her puppets. Then I hear the door creak open and turn to see Glitchy entering. His face burns up at the sight of us, walking in on this activity. Yet Shino calmly glances over at him without a hint of regret.

"It was only a matter of time before he found them, Papa. Might as well reveal it now. Look, Papa! I'm learning from your example too!"She says

He brushes it off, walks over, puts on his glasses, and checks her puppets, smiling. He glances at me, placing a kiss on my cheek before returning to complimenting Shino.

We sit there, enjoying some time together with her, and smile. It's simple and sweet. And fun.

"Is it normal to summon scythes in our family? I'm just wondering since both Raven and Goth do yet I seem unable to."She says as she stitches an eye onto a puppet.

Glitchy and I glance at each other.

"Would you like us to train you? We could see if you could summon anything."I say

She looks up at us, her eye twinkling. We go outside and I smile widely, seeing how excited she is. I try to show her how to summon a scythe but it doesn't work as hard as she tries. I stare in shock as a scale lands behind her made of rubies from what it looks like. It's HUGE and looks like the kind that blind Justice or Lady Justice is depicted to hold. But then it fades away before she can see. She glances around and frowns.

"....It didn't work."She sighs

I glance at Error, seeing his shock.

"Your turn, Glitchy."I say

Error nods, trying to teach her how to summon bone attacks. That doesn't work either and instead, she summons a grey Gaster Blaster five times the size of her and double the size of any that I've seen summoned. She looks at it curiously and her jaw hangs open in awe. 

"What's that?"She asks

"That's a Gaster Blaster...."I say

"Oooh! Is this what is used to keep the mean man away? Can I use it on him to keep him from bothering you, Dad?"She asks

"What do you mean?"I ask

"It's called a Gaster Blaster so isn't it used to blast at Gaster? Like bug spray?"She asks

I have to hold back a laugh at Gaster being compared to a bug, knowing he'd hate his grand immortal image being associated with a minor, powerless, insect. I grin, glancing at Glitchy who already seems to have read my mind with a dull expression.

"No. No rEaPeR. w3 aRen't uSiNg hEr p0weR aGa1nsT h1m."He says

"But it makes sense!"I say

"It wiLl jUsT cAuSe tRoUbLe."He says

We decide to bring her inside since it seems to take a lot out of her. We start coloring with her and Error gives her some snacks. But we agreed that we would continue training and helping her work on it.

Error's POV a few days later

Ugh, my head is getting fuzzy again and we're out of meds...I'll go get some...

I put on my scarf, walk through a portal to a store, and look for any meds the kids might need, grabbing sleep meds for Reaper off the shelf. Due to his coffee addiction, it's hard for him to sleep despite needing it. I walk through the aisles, comparing the medicine to see what would clear my head best. Then out of nowhere, I get knocked to the ground and quickly try to fight the attacker off. I find Ink trying to hold me to the ground as my body glitches rapidly.

"Where is it, Error? Where is my puppet! I know Dream stole it from me to give to you! I demand that you act better than him and return it! Now! I want it!"He snaps

"Get 0fF mE!"I snap

"Not until I-AaH!"He shouts in pain.

He falls back off of me and I see a knife piercing through his ankle and into his foot near his toes. I glance over, thinking that it is Killer's but see Shino pulling it out of him.

"You aren't hurting my Papa!"She bravely snaps at him

"Why not?"He asks, trying to stand.

"You haven't finished your grocery list! Just look at that scarf!"She says

He checks his scarf and sinks away with a nod.

That actually worked?

She reveals a marker in her hand, a matching bracelet to mine on her wrist. We made bracelets together and I think she coded it to connect with mine and my location and vice versa.

"SnEaKy..."I say

"That's not all I did while he was busy shouting at you."She says, revealing a handful of vials that include the pink and red ones(2 of the most dangerous ones).

I smile at her as she helps me up with a smile.

"I won't let him hurt you Papa. We protect each other from him!"She says

Then she grins as she collects the bits of bones left from Ink's wound and tucks them away. We return home with the meds and she goes to the basement that has become her mini-lab ever since one of her friends got her a chemistry set. I watch as she takes the vials and pieces of bone to experiment with, placing them in vials or bubbling chemicals.

"WhaT aRe y0u uSiNg tHoSe f0r?"I ask

"Trying to make Ink repellent."She replies

I smirk as she returns to her work, taking notes in crayon of what she observes.

I think we might have an inventor for a daughter...And Ink will regret the day he thought scaring Shino and trying to take her away was ever a good idea. 

A few hours later we finished playing dress-up and she giggles, seeing the outfit I ended up wearing for her. It was essentially a jumpsuit that could be mistaken for a dress with the way the fabric extends and flows down to cover my feet. She had me wear a large cartwheel hat lined with flowers as well as my pink scarf. She doesn't like the yellow necklace from Dream and tries to rip it off but then tries to hide it with the pink scarf. I smile as she takes pictures before getting her a snack and washing the dishes. I don't care what I wear if it makes her happy. I start to zone out, focusing on scrubbing the dirty dishes but get torn back to reality when I feel a hand on my rear and quickly lose my vision.

SLAP!

Now, I may not recall much anymore from my life as Geno, but I recall this clearly and the culprit all too well.

There better not be another sticker on my ass like when he did this to Geno...

"ReApEr, I sWeAr-"I begin before feeling him kiss my cheek.

"Sorry, had a long list and came back with my mind running without coffee. Are you okay, Glitchy? I'll look for your permission if I ever try this again."Reaper whispers to me

"No hitting Papa!"Shino snaps

I feel his grip tighten as he tense up. I chuckle, listening to our youngest scold him and he tries to apologize, promising to never do it again.
