Weeks later, Error's POV

The past few weeks have been pretty fun for me. Especially since Reaper's lists have been shorter lately, allowing more time to be spent with him. I've spent this time when the kids aren't home to tease him or drop hints just to see his reaction. I can't resist when his reactions are so adorable. The ruffled feathers, blushing mess of a skull and nervous stuttering every time...He had it coming with how often he teases me. And this week I found that I am free from the outfit meant to mock me, able to put my regular clothes on but having the outfit put in the wash. Reaper worked hard to remake it, which does look and feel comfier. I won't just throw his sweet work away, even if it was originally from Fate.

But as if knowing when I was freed from the mockery, Reaper suddenly got a super long list that has caused him to be away all week. Meaning I can't tease him since I don't know where he is. But I have a plan for his return. Today he texted me that he finished the list and is coming home, making me grin. I made sure to avoid destroying AUs so that I wouldn't add to his list. And boy is he in for a surprise when he gets home.

I work in the kitchen with a smile as I hear the door open.

"Glitchy!~ I'm home!"He declares

"WeLCoMe hOmE. Go TaKe a NaP, ReApEr."I say

"But I just got here! I want to spend time with you!"He says

"YoU cAn aFtEr yOuR nAp. I aM nOt GoINg aNyWhErE. I hAvE t0 wAiT fOr GoTh t0 rEtUrN fRom a dAtE anD fOr RaVeN t0 coMe hOmE wiTh sHiNO."I say

"But..."

"ReApEr, w3've tAlKed aBoUt ThiS."I remind him

"Uggh, fine...You're no fun."He sighs

"S0mEoNe's cRaNkY."I chuckle, closing the cabinets.

I turn around, seeing him behind me, hardly able to keep his eyes open.

"Can I hug you?"He asks

I nod and he gently pulls me in for a hug, resting his head on my shoulder. I smile, glad that I can hug him in my arms and only feel a slight buzzing from my glitches as a result. We've really made progress. Then I hear him start snoring beside my skull.

Are you kidding me? I meant to nap in bed, not ON ME!

I drag him away by walking backward to the couch, laying down on him as he completely shuts down and becomes easy to move. I pull his hands off of me and slip back into the kitchen as he sleeps. Then after some time, he wakes up.

"Can I spend time with you now?"He asks

It's only been 4 hours...

"I mAdE yOu SoMeTh1nG. I hOpE yOu liKe iT."I say, giving him a milkshake

"What's this?"He asks

"A r3wArD f0r c0mPlEtInG tHaT LoNg liSt. I cAn sEe IT wAs tIrInG foR yOu."I say

He smiles, goes to a table, and grins. He starts sipping with a straw as I go to wash the dishes. I return with a straw hidden in my pocket after waiting a bit.

"MiNd if I jOiN yOu?"I ask

He shakes his head, pats the seat beside him, and shuts his eyes. I place the straw in with his and start sipping. I smile, waiting for it to sink in or for him to notice.

After a few minutes, his eyes open and he glances at me. Then he looks at the beverage, then at me. This repeats a few times. Then his face burns up brighter.

"SoMeThInG wRoNg?"I ask

"I-I-I-I-----"He stutters, stumbling over his words.

"Do yOu liKe iT?"I ask

He nods.

"GoOd."I say

"We just shared our first drink together...."He whispers, his face burning up.

He pulls his hood up, hiding his face in it but it didn't hide his thoughts that much with how it bubbles with hearts.

"Paapaaaa! We're home! Palette kissed Goth again!"Shino says as he comes in with a giggle.

"Shino!"Goth snaps

"And now he's trying to sneak away!"Raven says

"PaLeTtE, y0u cAn c0m3 iN. LeT'S hAvE d1nNeR t0g3tHeR."I say, then notice Reaper staring at me.

His eyes slowly turn into hearts and I chuckle, feeling his cheek gently and that snaps him out of his trance. He blinks a few times before holding my hand on his cheek, leaning into my touch. I smile, then slip away to prepare dinner. We sit together at the table, listening to the kids chat away and laugh. I smile wider since this is the first time Palette is having dinner with us as Goth's boyfriend and it's like we're already welcoming him into the family. I find his nickname for my son, Gothy, absolutely adorable, and love seeing them so happy together.

A few days later, Reaper was away working again and only Shino was left at home. I was reading a book when Shino walked in and cautiously tapped my shoulder, getting my attention.

"I want to make a garden in our backyard, so can we go get supplies?"She asks

"SuRe, Sh1nO."I say

I open a portal and we go through as I use some code to locate any shops with the supplies she seeks. We find a store and buy whatever she pointed out or likes, including seeds for various flowers and grown flowers. She eagerly skips ahead with boxes or bags of her supplies and I smile, listening to her giggle with joy. Then I see a puddle form up ahead and frown, recognizing it. I cut in front of her, pushing her back right as Ink leaps from the puddle, smacking me with paint.

"Aww man, I missed the target!"He says

He's after Shino? Hell no!

"Eh, I can work with this."He says as the paint turns to chains.

I snap my fingers, summoning a portal and Gaster Blaster to blast Ink away.

"ShInO! GeT hOmE nOW!"I snap

She looks at me in terror, then quickly runs through the portal before it shuts.

"Awww, you're no fun Error."Ink says when he returns.

He grins widely, pulling me with the chains back through the puddle. He tosses me against the floor, kicking me around. He even swings his paintbrush as if he is playing hockey, making me slide across the floor and get more paint covering me, preventing me from using my hands to fight back. I groan, shaking my head.

"Do I lOoK liKe I cArE? YoUr fUn sUcKs aNd i wiLl n0t lEt yOu uSe h3r f0r iT!"I snap

That gets me a kick to the stomach and I force myself not to crash. It already hurts a lot but I shake my head.

Better me than Shino going through this with HIM.
