Meeting stranger is always awkward. You don't know them, they don't you. But sometimes, exactly that can be the wonderful thing about it. They don't know you nor your story, for them you are just a name on a screen.
It was simple really, you text them, and with some luck they text you back. And maybe, you get more texts, so you start chatting and keeping in contact over the time. Maybe there's even a friendship forming.
From strangers to friends, what a wonderful thing that can be.
To have someone, that you have never met face to face perhaps, who still has your back even in the toughest of times.

This is an ode, to all the online friends out there, who have been checking up on each other and keeping in contact for weeks months and years.
Here's to all those, that will still find friendship in a world, that you always get told only wants the worst for you.
Here's to all, that make a strangers day brighter, by simply sending a text.
