Chapter 26
Hi, I am soo tired, bruh. My grades aren't ideal (I'm still passing). Only with one A, and the rests are Bs and one C. I hate that shit.
I still have to read my five hundred-page books for English cus my overachieving ass wanted to do GT (gifted and talented, which means I'm a freshman in a junior English.)
I feel like I can only rant here because if I start talking, I'm gonna cry.
I couldn't sleep, I wanted to go to the pool like Zane and I did on our honeymoon, but Zane's asleep, and it's probably not safe to go by myself. I think it was the fear and anxiety of us failing and falling victim to our mother. My chest started feeling weird, and I needed to take my mind off her so I don't have a panic attack. So, I start googling baby names.
Since I'm having twins, I have to look for two boys' names, two girl names, and one boy's and one girl's names that rhyme or match or in some way.
I want to do names that start with A because they're the firstborns. Also, their last names start with an A. Also, my name starts with an A, so why the hell not?
Adelaide and Alizabeth for twin girls.
Alistair and Aristotle for twin boys. I want old names that sound rich since their father is booming with money.
For twin boy and girl, I'll do Aristotle and Annaiis; yes, Anais like the Amazing World of Gumball rabbit girl. Does it scream old rich money? Not really, but I don't care. I'll spell it with an extra I so it'll be original.
The percentage of different-gender twins is rare, so I probably won't even be able to use that name.
Though, my family seems to commonly have twins.
King and Lucky are twins. Atlas had twin boys, A'roya had twins, one girl and one boy, and Jericho's last-born girls were also twins. It's a little weird; I wonder where we get it from.
I sighed; after taking hours to figure out names, I still wasn't tired. The babies were up and moving, and so was I. They were really eager to come the fuck out.
I carefully looked over at Zane to see if I could find my phone. I spotted my phone and smirked mischievously; this dumbass.
I reached over him slowly so he wouldn't wake and grabbed my phone, but Zane gripped my hand before I could pull my phone out safely, making me gasp.
He opened his slightly red eyes; I noticed that happened every time he woke up from his sleep. "A'raya," he scolded. "I know you did not wake me up from my sleep for this."
"I can't sleep, Zane."
Zane sighed, sitting up. "What's wrong with you? You used to sleep fine."
I looked at my swollen stomach.
"Ok," he whispered, still tired. "Let's go."
"Go where?"
"Just come on," Zane got up and put some crocs on.
I looked at him, still wearing gray plaid pjs, a long-sleeved gray shirt, and his hair ruffled. "You look cute, but you sure you wanna go out in pjs?"
He looked at me. "A'roya." He narrowed his eyes on me. "Why are you fully dressed?" He glared at me.
"No, I didn't go anywhere. I was thinking about it, but I realized I couldn't go anywhere. I'm too scared to be without you, actually."
Zane chuckled softly, pulling me up and kissing my cheek. "Come on,"

"What's this place?" I was looking at a city...in Kentucky.
"Louisville, I thought we'd look at the city lights," Zane whispered as we walked through the city streets. "Plus, the address you'll be going to is in the small rural city of Maysville. She's nowhere near here."
I smiled. "I love you."
Zane laughed. "I love how you tell me that you love me so randomly. It makes me feel very loved."
I laughed. "You're welcome," I leaned against him. "I can't wait to have these people out of me."
"You have twenty more weeks."
I rolled my eyes. "Zane, did you not listen to the doctor? The twins are coming out early. At thirty-six weeks."
"What difference does it make? Sixteen weeks is not that far off from twenty."
"It's a big difference for me because I'm the pregnant one. The one who can't sleep, the one who's being kicked from the inside. These twins must think they were playing soccer because the amount of times they kick is ridiculous."
Zane only chuckled. "I'm sorry about that."
I sighed. "After this, we should wait until I'm twenty-five for another one."
"I think two is just enough."
"Technically, they're twins. I want them to have siblings."
"They are siblings. What are you talking about?" Zane furrowed his brows.
I sighed. "I feel like twins are connected on a different level; they need another person to go from time to time."
"What happened to friends?"
I groaned. "Zane, I just want more children, ok, just not for another, like, seven years."
Zane nodded slowly. "Ok? I mean, you're the one going through labor, don't blame me when you wanted more."
I rolled my eyes, yawning. "Shut up; it's not that simple." I groaned. "My feet hurt,"
Zane stopped walking and turned toward me. "You wanna go back?"
I nodded. "Can you cuddle me when we get back?"
Zane nodded, smiling and lifting me up bridal-style. "Sure."

"Can I tell you what I decided for the baby names when you were asleep?" I whispered as Zane pulled me close, rubbing the side of my huge stomach softly.
"Go ahead," he said lowly.
"For twin girls, I was thinking Adelaide and Alizabeth."
Zane closed his eyes, smiling. "I didn't expect that,"
I giggled. "They need old rich names,"
Zane snorted.
"For twin boy and girl, I want Aristotle and Annaiis."
"I like Annaiis,"
I smiled. "Thanks, I like it too. I love it. Actually, I hope we have two different genders."
Zane hummed.
I yawned. "Lastly, the twin boys are Alistair and Aristotle."
"You really like Aristotle?" Zane asked.
"Yes."
"So if we have a son, you're going to name him Aristotle?"
I nodded, yawning. "Yup, you can have the middle and last name."
Zane scoffed softly. "Trust me; I would pick the simplest names there are; you can name them."
"I really liked what you did for me today," I whispered.
"What did I do?"
"Dumbass, you took me out to the city today, and we talked, and I feel like we haven't talked without me being worried or angry. We were talking about ourselves."
Zane opened his eyes. "A'raya, I was on my wits end with you. I didn't know what I needed to do to make you happy." He admitted.
"I'm sorry for making you feel that way. I'm scared, and I always think that you're some superhuman who is always brave."
Zane pecked my lips. "That's because I am."
"Shut up, be serious." I rolled my eyes, laughing.
"I'll always be brave for you, A'raya."
"I'll be brave for you, too, Zane," I whispered.
"Let's focus on being brave with insects first, A'raya; then, we can talk big."
I felt him kiss my forehead as I chuckled softly, falling asleep.
I hope you enjoyed this short chapter...next chapter is long and kinda graphic (No pictures, just descriptions)
But yea. Enjoy you're night or day.
