It was just a normal day. Yes, this isn't a oneshot where something big unexpected happens. Ok maybe I lied.

But for Poppy, it was a normal day. She was taking a little stroll around the village. She loved taking in fresh air and looking at the pretty scenery.

Soon, she came up to where near the snack pack was. She heard them talking. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best conversation.

"I just don't think they should be dating," Guy Diamond said. Legsly agreed, "Seriously, how are they still dating? They just shouldn't be."

What? Poppy thought. They didn't think they were meant for each other? But they loves each other with all their hearts....

Poppy started crying and ran off. No matter what they say, she will absolutely not break up with Branch.

The snack pack watched Poppy as she ran off. They started giggling. "Oh my gosh, she was so upset!" Guy Diamond laughed.

"Wow, she did not like that!" Chenille giggled. The kept laughing at the trick they just pulled. Then they nodded at Branch hiding in the bushes.

He quickly ran after his crying girlfriend.

Poppy was sitting behind a tree, crying and wondering why her friends would say something like that to her.

Then she heard footsteps and knew it was Branch without needing to see. "Poppy?" Branch asked.

Poppy didn't look up. "Hi Branch," she said. He asked even though he knew perfectly well, "What's wrong?"

Poppy finally met her eyes with his and said, "My friends are saying that we shouldn't be dating behind my back...."

Branch said, "Come with me. I'm going to make them apologize." Poppy shook her head. She didn't want to be around them right now.

Branch knew her weak spot and kissed her quickly but passionately. Poppy immediately softened. "Come with me," Branch repeated.

Poppy obeyed this time. Once there, she saw her friends still a bit giggly and started to feel bad.

Branch was still going along with it. He asked the group, "What were you guys saying earlier?"

Satin spoke loud and clear. "We don't think you two should be dating." Poppy teared up.

Branch smiled. "I agree with them," he said. Poppy just looked at him. Why would he do this?

"They don't think we should be dating," he continued. Poppy was about to run off again, then Branch said, "they think we should be married," and got down on one knee.

Poppy gasped and her tears of sadness turned to tears of joy. The turn of events was incredible.

"Queen Poppy, you have been my love since you changed my life when we went on that adventure. I never thought you would actually say 'I love you' back to me the day I confessed. I enjoy every single second I spend with you, and I really can't imagine a world without you. So now comes the day when I ask, Queen Poppy, will you marry me?"

Branch pulled out an engagement bracelet. I though it was cute bc they use hugtime bracelets and they would just wear like a diamond bracelet XD

He looked at Poppy hopefully. She was just frozen in shock. Then she said, "Of course!" She jumped into his arms and gave him a passionate kiss. When she stepped back, Branch placed the bracelet on her wrist.

The snack pack all clapped for the newly engaged couple. When the excitement level was down, Poppy asked, "So this was all a trick to propose?"

The snack pack nodded. "Branch wanted to catch you off guard, so he asked for our help." Branch said, "I know for sure it worked!"

Poppy just laughed and hugged her new fiance.
